Listen up people! This review is for any and every person looking for an auto body business who does exceptional work! I am going to repeat the word EXCEPTIONAL, because it is second to none. I would like to give a special thanks to Rick, the owner of the business. Rick, it was great doing business with you. You're honest and straightforward. No gimmicks and no cons. Simple good business. A special, special thank you goes to Alex. Alex, you are a great man who has a gift in the industry of auto body repair. Not only did you fix the damage to my vehicle, you went above and beyond to have my car looking like it just came from off the showroom floor! To you both, thank you! read more

I have to give Rick a stellar review because he is such a pro (and a really nice guy). I had a small accident with a BMW and he worked with us to find the right solution and for less that I imagined. He explained our options very well, was very pleasant to work with and even washed the car so that it looks just like new! I was dreading having to do the repairs but whole process was great, feels good when the experience is so painless. Apparently Rick moved his shop to Sunnyvale recently, but was in RWC for ages. I highly recommend his shop for any repairs you need. read more

Rick is talented, patient and really amazing at his work!! Our vintage car broke down and he found the perfect parts. Enjoy your retirement!

I was referred to Liebes Auto Body by a highly reputable auto-repair shop in the area, so I had a good feeling going in. Indeed, the owner of Liebes Auto Body, Rick, did not disappoint. I took in my 2011 BMW 335is that needed front bumper work, thanks to a parking block that did a number on it. Rick carefully looked at the damage and assessed the bumper to be repairable, rather than needing a more expensive replacement. Rick was straightforward to deal with. The car was returned to me looking immaculate, and with a very nice front bumper. Having a good, trustworthy body shop is valuable. Liebes will now be my go-to. read more

Trust the reviews for Rick and his team! He did great work on my car. When I was getting a quote from him, I told him if it was over a certain amount I'd go through insurance, otherwise I'd pay out of pocket. He was very understanding and respectful, and tried to get the most budget friendly options for parts, with notes comparing new with used. He was great with updates for any changes in price. He'll be moving to Sunnyvale soon as well, happy to have such a great body shop in my area! read more

My Tesla Model 3 had a scrape on the back passenger side door and quarter panel. I was quoted more than $6,000 by Tesla, so I checked some independent body shops. Quoted varied from $2,500 to $4,000, until I found Rick at Liebes Autobody. He performed a thorough examination of the car then gave me a quote for under $2,000, explaining in detail what he would do. The work done is perfect: car looks like new. Rick is very easy to communicate with and the schedule he gives you is very realistic and he sticks to it. I highly recommend this establishment. read more

I had no idea how much work was going to be needed to fix my Jeep. Rick was knowledgeable and gave me a detailed cost breakdown and presented me with options. The work was done on schedule with good communication. read more

Rick is an artist. He was able to fix the (badly crumpled) rear quarter panel and rear door of our X5 in a mere week where anybody else would have punted, ordered new parts and taken 4 weeks. That's the difference between a regular body shop and someone who is proud of his work. You can tell if you get invited into the back where he's currently lovingly restoring a 1975 Fiat Spider. Thanks to the good folks at Palo Alto Bimmer for sending me over to Rick! read more

I would give Rick a 10 star review if I could. I was able to bring my car in and he took care of a ding in my door in 20 minutes.

I have used Liebes body for many yrs. Rick is always available, makes helpful, cost saving suggestions and the quality of the work is excellent. Would not take my beloved car to any other body shop. G. Ray read more

So glad I was recommended to go to Liebes Autobody. They were responsive, informative, very patient, and did an amazing job! I wanted to sell my car and had a couple cosmetic fixes (scrapes, scratches, and dings) and Liebes Autobody did such a great job that the inspector at the dealership didn't even notice or mark it down as anything. Thank you Marcos for your patience and attention to detail, and thank you Richard and team for all that you do! read more

I got a great deal with Rick, that allowed me to repair my car, feel good about the work, and move on with my life after a small fender bender. The work was done exactly as specified which was what I needed. Total accountability. read more

I went to 6 body shops to help me with a bottom panel. Fairly easy work! These guys did it quick and charged me a fourth of what others quoted me. Super thankful read more

Great service performed by Rick, the competent and dedicated owner who has been running this business for decades. Rick just knows everything about cars and explains technical stuff very clearly. Absolute satisfaction with the repair work done for my Bmw x1. The only thing I would have wished for is a bit more updates on the timeline, but that's a bonus and I understand it could be hard dealing with insurance companies. read more

Great job at a fair price to fix the front bumper and door on a BMW. I really appreciated Rick taking the time to thoroughly explain the process as well as the pros/cons of different repair options. Alex took a lot of care with our vehicle to get it back into shape. I've already inquired about fixing other issues on other vehicles. read more

Rick and his team did a great job of repainting my car and making other cosmetic fixes to my wheels and headlights. My 18 year old Honda looks almost new now. The paint color was matched perfectly, as well, and Rick was easy to deal with. read more

Just so I don't waste anyone's time, this review is only about a phone call to get an estimate. I did not use any of their services, but found their customer service to be noteworthy. If I am ever in need of the type of services they offer, I will be visiting them. I have a 1977 Honda Goldwing GL1000 that I am currently restoring so I decided to reach out to Liebes Autobody to see how much they would charge to strip my frame. I spoke with Rick who was incredibly helpful. I asked him if they had a media blaster at their shop and he said they strip with chemicals / sanding. He continued on to explain what type of paint my bike originally came with, which he said is very good quality. Considering the condition of my frame, as I described to him over the phone, he recommended taking a wire wheel to all the rusted metal and sand the paint that is still there and use it as a base coat. He continued to give me some more advice on rust treatment which was invaluable to my project. If I ever need auto body work done I will be visiting Rick and his staff as his professionalism was bar none. read more

This was one of the most seamless and professional auto repair experiences I've every had. Fully trustworthy, transparent and fast! Rick and his team's professionalism, communication and quality of work is best in class. I really appreciated Rick coordinating with my insurance and making that as seamless as possible. His long tenure in the business shines. Highly recommend. Thank you, Rick! read more

Have been going to Liebes Auto Body for years. Rick Liebes and his team do excellent and speedy work with fair prices. Rick is very helpful and guarantees his work. Highly recommended!! Mike and Bonnie Liebhold read more

Rick did a great job on my car and was very ethical. I had another quote that charged much more and would have taken a month longer. My car was done within the week and and ready for pick up as promised. I highly recommend Liebes. read more

I have used Liebes Autobody three times in the last 3 years. Yes, lucky me. First was out of insurance bumper repair... backed up against another car. Mutually agreed we take care of our own cars. Last two was no fault rear-end. In or outside insurance, no complaints. They do a great job! Rick is very reasonable and easy to work with. read more

My front fender was dented. They made it look brand new and were very reasonably priced.

After reading many reviews and visiting a few body shops, I was lucky enough to meet with Rick at Liebes Autobody. He looked at the repairs and explained the options and pricing for each one. His honesty, integrity, and communication made the entire process simple and fun. Great customer service, incredible results and fair pricing. Highly, highly recommend read more

Rick and his team did an absolutely incredible job repairing some significant body damage on my BMW 328i. The work is impeccable. Rick was very honest and communicative during the duration of the repair. I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. I recommend Liebes Autobody extremely highly. Thanks Rick! read more

At the risk of being repetitive, I am offering yet another EXCELLENT review for an amazing job done on a minor paint touch-up effort, that would have cost me much bigger $$ elsewhere, because small jobs are usually not met with the attitude of customer service in most other places of business. Rick took the time to evaluate my touch-up job, in two places on my van, and found a way to create a beautiful cosmetic clean up and cover up of these locations at an affordable $$ amount that no one else was willing to do. Attitude, to begin with, goes a long way to make a customer feel appreciated and then follows through with the necessary detail work ethic to pull off a job in a fully professional manner. read more

These guys are absolutely top-notch across all types of service providers I use. I was referred to Rick at Liebes Autobody by Planet Auto in Menlo Park. I have an older sports car that needed some paint work, blacking of various parts, some small interior work, and a targa top overhaul. Rick drove out to meet me for an estimate, looked over the car in great detail, made some super suggestions for additional work that he could do at a reasonable price, and later that day sent a detailed estimate broken out in detail so I could pick and choose what I wanted done. They also picked up and dropped off my car to help with my crazy schedule. The paint work was beautiful, the targa top overhaul fantastic, the blacking made a world of difference. Overall, for a very reasonable price, I got a great bundle of work done that really spiffed up the car. I also very much appreciated Rick's style. He was very detail-oriented, straight forward, and communicated clearly and frequently during the job. One example, when I asked if he was marking up the work he sent out of his shop (the targa top), his answer was a quick, clear yes with a fair markup. I greatly appreciated that he was straightforward on that and felt the price was more than fair for the convenience of having it all managed in one place. Summary: beautiful work, superb customer service, honest. Highly recommend. read more

Happy with work and results. It was done inexpensive and fast, as promised. Pleasant experience. The only minor thing is thst the car wasnt ready by the promised time, so it made me late for the meeting. Everything else was done well. Good professionals are working there. read more

I had an accident with my car, which is old. When others suggested that I put it in a wreck yard because repairing it would cost more than what I had paid for it, it broke my heart because I love my car. I found Rick Liebes, a very nice guy, on Yelp and he totally understood my problem. He did a great job with my car for a really good price. They were quick, professional, and did an amazing job, my car looks better now than before I had my accident. My husband and I are super satisfied and totally recommend Liebes Atobody. read more

My car (BMW) had a small dent on the side and I looked up several auto body shops in the area. Rick told me I could come in any time to get it looked at. I stopped by and after he assessed the damage, he shared an estimation of cost within a few hours! Not only is he extremely efficient, he was extremely responsive - would respond to my calls and messages immediately if I had any questions. My car was ready in time (no delays) and looked brand new (great detailing and car wash). Not only was the service great, Rick and the team are extremely kind and responsive. Great deal as well paying out-of-pocket. No complaints from me, I would 100% go back to Rick (though hope I don't have car damage ever again to need to)! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

Working with Rick at Liebes was made for a surprisingly pleasant end to a real struggle with completing a claim. He was flexible in meeting me after my commute down from San Francisco. His estimate was accurate and worked with the insurance company directly to manage through the process. The work was performed and competed on time. Quality was outstanding without any trace of the damage and the car was cleaner than it had been in quite a while! Rick's demeanor is approachable and very down to earth but always professional. I highly recommend Liebes for body and paint work. In a sea of mediocre or bad repair shops, Liebes really stands out! read more

My wife had a minor accident in a parking lot nearby and limped over to this place. Work was done professionally and we are happy with the results. Service was excellent. They couldn't take care of the problem right away but Rick was up front about his estimate for when the parts would be available and the shop could start working on the damage. We also appreciated that they took care of arranging the local rental and especially Rick's offer to come in on Sunday when my wife would be in the area to exchange keys (the rental place could come to the shop to get its car); this allowed my wife to hit the ground running on what was to be a stressful Monday. read more

Rick and his team did a great job and were very pleasant to deal with. I was referred to Rick from Palo Alto Bimmer after getting an overpriced quote from my dealer-recommended shop to deal with a keyed car. Rick provided a fair quote, got it done a little faster than the first body shop would promise, and met me at the shop on a Saturday morning when they are normally closed so I could pick it up at a more convenient time for my schedule. He also offered to drop me off at work to help with the initial dropoff. They did a great job blending/buffing/matching the original brown metallic paint and you can't tell there was ever any problem with it. The large scratch and several unrelated dents were all been taken care of. Top notch work. read more

I had a small paint issue on my bumper that I wanted to get fixed right away and at a reasonable price, so I stopped by the place that my trusted mechanic at Palo Alto Bimmer had just recommended (and apparently they've been recommending Liebes Auto Body for over 30 years)! When I got there on a Monday afternoon, I spoke to the owner Rick, and he took some pictures of the issue and then provided me with an estimate by email around 5pm that evening. Rick then walked me through the estimate, and said that if I brought in the car the next morning (i.e. Tuesday morning), he'd be able to get the work done by Friday end of day. The price for the fix was very fair (I checked with a couple Auto Body Shops), the work that was completed and the turnaround was excellent, and I felt that Rick and team went above and beyond! Also, Rick told some interesting and funny stories, and the place smelled surprisingly good since there's a bakery next door that makes freshly baked goods. Responsive, Professional, Friendly, and Reliable is how I'd describe Rick and team! Highly recommend! read more

Rick is fantastic. He is extremely reasonable, honest, and does a flawless job. When I scratched my brand new car against a post while parking in a tight spot, he fixed it for a much lower price than the estimates other places gave me, dropped me off to the caltrain station so I could get back home, and had the car back to perfect in a few days. Thanks, Rick! read more

This place is the best. They work quickly and dependably; the service is friendly; the prices are fair.

Friendliness 5/5. Quality of Work 5/5. Beauty of Place 2/5. Honesty 6/5. Location 3/5. Value for Money 5/5.

We were very happy with Liebes Autobody! I had my Range Rover fixed by Rick and his team, and they did an excellent job. The service was quick, efficient, and overall flawless. As a mother of 3 small kids, therefore extremely busy and having the shortest possible attention span for the outside world, Rick was very patient and accommodating. I would definitely recommend! read more

Shout out to Rick Liebes and his team for the excellent and speedy work done to repair my 2006 Prius after I was rear-ended last month! He is delightful to work with, handled the insurance and gave me practical advice about other work that I wanted to be done on the car. The car looks like new and was returned to me well within the time frame quoted. Thank you Rick! read more

Rick Liebes Autobody is by far the best auto body in town period. I am super anal and could never find any auto body that can do as good as factory. Rick can ! I got a large chip on my front door on my 2018 Rogue Sport. Rick fixed it flawlessly. Perfect color match and paint job. Old school craftsmanship is very hard to find these days. Not to mention Rick's prices are below all the others. If you demand perfect work and a super fair price go see Rick. Super nice people too. I finally found a friend in the auto body business. Liebes takes the time to do it right the first time. Not your typical move them in move them out mentality. Rick takes great pride in his work and I am not easy to please. Thank you Rick ! God bless Liebes !!! read more

Highly recommend Rick Liebes for Autobody work. He's close by, does great work at a fair price, works w/ those pesky insurance companies, and guarantees his work for as long as you own the car. You cannot beat that. I'm very picky and detail oriented (I ran my hands across all parts he fixed) and he passed my requirements with flying colors. He gives you his mobile # so you can reach him.
