Excellent service from start to finish. Angel kept me updated throughout the entire process, including the status and location of my vehicle, and even sent pictures. I especially appreciated the care taken during the drive to the collision center, which involved winding mountain roads. It gave me peace of mind knowing my car was being handled carefully. Angel provided very early (1:00 am) morning service and was polite, professional, and courteous throughout. Great communication and excellent care of my vehicle. Highly recommend this tow company! read more

Angel was fantastic to work with and his great communication skills. I'm very happy with the price and service I received!

We cannot say enough great things about Angel and his towing service. He towed us from the top of Big Bear down to Lucerne Valley during difficult conditions, and the entire experience was handled with true professionalism. What stood out most was his exceptional customer service. Angel showed up exactly at the time he said he would, without us having to constantly call or text for updates. That level of reliability and integrity is rare. In a stressful situation, having someone dependable and calm makes all the difference. He was respectful, efficient, and genuinely caring throughout the entire process. You can tell he takes pride in his work and truly cares about helping people when they need it most. We arrived safely yesterday, were able to finally rest at home, and are now catching up on things thanks to his help. There really are not enough words to express how grateful we are. If you are ever in need of towing services, do not hesitate to call Angel. Exceptional service, professional, punctual, and trustworthy. Highly recommend. Chris and Sarah read more

Amazing day turned sideways. Came to big bear to go snowboarding with friends and coworkers to get out of Vegas and relax. First time ever going to big bear mountain. Blue bird day. Just when I thought everything was going great I get an engine too hot warning. Luckily I wasn't out in the middle of the desert. Reached out to my insurance, said it was going to be 70-90 minutes. Mind you it's already getting dark and started to get cold. Got on Yelp and licona responded quickly. Family owned and operated. Gave me a quote and got me in less than 15 minutes. Dropped off my car at a shop (took it to his recommendation), waited for us to find an a place to stay, then dropped us off at the place. Really considerate and didn't rush us at anytime. If you're ever stuck in big bear, reach out to Licona and give them a try. They didn't charge me anything crazy and not feeling rushed made the event not as bad. Thank you! read more

Great communication. Angel came recommended by Jazzy Bear and he did not disappoint. Real lifesaver. Highly recommend. May not have as many reviews as some of the others but it's top tier service. Helped with flatbed towing per our request. Great value as well. read more

Angel was prompt, polite, and professional! I sent an email request for a quote at 6am and he responded within 10 minutes. We agreed on a price which I felt was competitive, scheduled a pickup time, and he showed up 5 minutes early. Angel's an energetic, young business owner, who really enjoys helping those whose autos have left us in a predicament. I hope I don't need a tow in the future, but if I do I'll contact Licona's Towing! read more

Fast, kind, and can't say thank you enough for getting my 4Runner up the icy driveway. Thank you very much

What a lifesaver. AAA Roadside couldn't help replace my dead battery - everything in Big Bear was closed on a Sunday. We were stranded. But Licona was there to save the day!!! Rockstars! read more

This was quick to help us find solutions and was ready to provide service. We ended up going with him for tow since he did not have the tire we needed. He was kind enough to help locate a tire shop he could tow us to. A company was giving us a five hour window for service and these guys were at our car in 20 mins. We got lucky because we called in the early AM before they got slammed. The price was reasonable and extremely lower than other companies. read more

Angel came to us within 1 hour of our call, and was quick to respond to my husband's text messages as well. AAA couldn't replace our tire with a spare because it was too old, so we anticipated staying one more night in Big Bear. It was Saturday night when we found the nail in our tire and every auto shop was closed. On Sundays most repair shops are closed. But not Licona's! Angel came to our airbnb on a Sunday and quickly patched our tire in less than 30 minutes. It was worth every penny and are so grateful for Angel's helpfulness to us when we thought we would be stranded on the mountain! Angel had a positive and friendly attitude as well. Thank you so much for your service! read more

Angel is an incredible human being! I work with many people and instantly knew our experience would be great. On a trip to our cabin in big bear, my wife hit a pot hole and blew out a tire in our 2022 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo Turbo, a special vehicle that's not easy tow as it's electric, heavy and bespoke. Angel came promptly to carefully tow the high value Porsche to our cabin while we waited for a tire to arrive from Tire Rack. He was super careful and attentive in loading and unloading the car with foam ramps to ensure there is no risk of damage to the car and driveway. Once the tire arrived a few days later, he helped me get the tire mounted and even gave me a ride to Auto Zone to buy chains as it was too dangerous to drive without. All of this with a smile and very real reasonable pricing. Angel is not only a very kind entrepreneur but also now a friend and confidant of our family! Call him if you ever need a caring set of hands in big bear! read more

Quick, helpful and got me out of a jam! Appreciate you Liconas Towing Helped me make sure my vehicle was safe enough to come down Big Bear Mountain. read more

Angel genuinely cares about his customers and the quality of his service. I was stranded with 2 flats on a holiday on the way back from Big Bear and not a single open store with my model of tires within a 50 miles radius. The pressure was on because I had to make it off the mountain in time before the only few tire shops open in San Bernardino would close. After going through AAA and 2 other towing companies who couldn't get me an ETA, I got hold of Angel. He got me sorted out with a flat fee tow and set me up with a tire shop in Highland which got me back on the road in no time. He took great care loading and unloading the car on the flatbed. I highly recommend Licona's Towing. They're much faster than AAA. read more

Responsive, easy and reasonable. Would definitely use again if needed (but I hope not needed!).

Quick response time! I reached out to Licona's towing on a Sunday morning for help with snow chains and I received an immediate response to my question. I highly recommend Licona's Towing and will use them again when I am back in Big Bear. read more

If you're ever in need of a tow truck on the mountain this place needs to be your first call! Angel is the best and his service is second to none. After having the worst experience possible with another tow service that was contracted with AAA in Big Bear (they literally made us wait 1.5+ hours then got there and told us they couldn't take us and left us stranded in a storm) LUCKILY, Angel saved us! He answered right away, texted pricing, and gave us quick updates of his very quick ETA (less than 30 mins while others we waited 1.5+ hours with zero help). He was so professional with the coordination and even offered to talk with AAA. We were stranded in a snow storm, it was now 5pm after being given the run around by other companies for 4 hours, and visibility was difficult. He picked us up no problem and took us all the way back to Santa Monica! The best part is that he was very straight forward and honest with his pricing, we paid up front and there was no "hidden costs" and we didn't worry about getting cheated. Seriously I hope we don't ever need a tow again but if we do or anyone we know does, this will without a doubt be the first call. Also, love supporting a family run business. read more

We just got back from Big Bear. We had an urgent need for assistance with some snow chains that were tangled around our wheel. Angel picked up our call immediately, and gave us a faster time estimate and better price than the first company we tried. He got to our rental on the early side of his estimate, with cell and text updates to let us know when he was 15 and 5 minutes away. He was patient waiting for us as the kids held us back for a few minutes. He quickly problem solved the situation, installed the chains for us, and took time showing my wife and myself how to do install them the next time. His version was better than both of the youtube informational videos we had watched. He had a different approach which made more sense once we saw it, and made it easier to get the chains around and under the tire, which was important because we have a SUV with tight crevices around the wheel well. He also gave us a website to check for road conditions so we could determine when to remove them, some tips on removal. He's good. He's earnest and friendly. He saved our trip, because, due to his speed and competence, we were able to rebook our ski lessons for the afternoon and get there in time and have a great day. read more

I recently purchased a used vehicle and it wasn't running so I needed it towed down the mountain. I was in a bind and luckily when I reached out to Licona's Towing, Angel was super responsive and got me a quote right away. He was even able to accommodate the tow on a holiday, arrived early and safely delivered the vehicle to my house. He even backed it into the driveway for me. All in all, Angel was super kind and friendly. If I ever needed a tow up in the mountain again, he would be my first call! read more

My car gave me issues on new years day in big bear, to my surprise AAA kept lagging on sending me a tow truck! I called around and no one wanted to do the tow! due to weather conditions. Late at night my parents broke down up at a gas station. They called this place and were immediately quoted a way more reasonable price. Over half off of what AAA was charging. Luckily he worked with them to receive a payment from another card that they didn't have in person. He was friendly, and professional. His name was angel. Got the truck down the hill in a respectful time. read more

Oh my god did these guys save the day. I was on my way to big bear from San Bernardino and I got a flat tire on highway 330. It was Labor Day weekend and most tow companies were closed. They were on their way to drop off a truck doing another job and pulled over to help change my tire and give me some gas. I found out my battery was dead and they came back at no extra cost to help me. Words cannot even describe how much I appreciate their help. 10 stars if I could! read more

My partner and I arrived in Big Bear on a Friday night and immediately hit a massive pothole that totaled my front tire. We called every place in town that was open (not many on a weekend - beware!!) and Licona's gave us the best price for a tow down the mountain. Angel picked us up - he was SO sweet and timely, and helped us understand what damage had been done to the car before giving us both a ride to the one tire shop that had the tire we needed. Would recommend a million times over!! read more

I'm 75 years old and recovering from surgery. I drove to my mailbox on the Avenue and my car would not shift. Transmission?? Onlookers tried to help and they couldn't get it to shift either! I'm not very well and getting home even though it's not, that far would be very hard walking. This company was down the mountain, but they sent their brother to pick me up and drive me home because of my health issues, then they towed my car home and may have gotten it to work, by fiddling with something or other... Anyway, this wonderful man helped me showed me how he got it to work, told me to try driving up and down my street and see if the shift still works but if not, he advised a good garage. He also gave me his card and phone number and said he would try and help me anyway he could. What a wonderful man and a Super good company! I totally recommend them read more
