I told the cashier I had been waiting five minutes and no one even acknowledge that I was there. With an attitude her response was he's training and making a sandwich. (the sandwich must have been a to go order because no one else was waiting in line). So you can't just lift your head for a second and acknowledge a customer. This wasn't the first time I received this type of service here, but it will be my last at this store. Today was the last day this store will ever get my business including even purchasing gas. Totally disgusted with the type of work ethic these employees have. Must be an awful place to work if everyone is so rude and disrespectful.

Rather than pre-packaged sandwiches prepared somewhere, then shrink-wrapped and shipped in, here they make your sandwich right before your very eyes. One more interesting things about the deli - half sandwiches are on the menu. With my minimal appetite, that sounded like a good idea. Well, I couldn't finish a HALF sandwich! Yes, the portions are that large. I'm from Wisconsin. We take our dairy very seriously so of course, at a place with dairy in the name, I expected something pretty good. I found it, too. Kwik Trip, my favorite chocolate milk, your title of best chocolate milk is in jeopardy with the great chocolate milk from Pittsford Dairy. Pittsford Dairy, you better be aware of Byrne Dairy because their chocolate milk is also something remarkable. I'm not picking a winner here, but I will tell you that all three are better than anything I've found in a grocery store. (New Yorkers, Kwik Trip is a mid-west chain based in Wisconsin.) I like this store! Now, I probably won't get back to Newark anytime soon, but it appears Byrne Dairy is an up and coming chain that reminds me of Kwik Trip back home. There doesn't seem to be a store near my current location, but I will be watching for Byrne Dairy in my travels around Western New York.

They also have a couple of specials, like the glazed pork chop, which is absolutely wonderful. Round that out with an extensive beer on tap list and you have a winner. I had a Genessee Mango Peach Kolsch, which was a great beer. After years of making fun of Genessee-branded beers I had to eat my words. Highly recommend trying it. The place itself is rustic and relatively quiet, even though they were quite busy. The service was great and friendly, the close-caption TVs were tuned to the Padres game - 2,500 miles from San Diego and we still got to watch our hometown team. The kitchen was a little slow turning out dishes, so when my wife's Pesto Pasta turned out to be something else, she didn't even say anything. It was a pasta dish, just not Pesto and she said it was very good, just not what she ordered, which cost Parker's the one star.

Parker's was suggested by the hotel as a quick walk and good food and it's one of two or three places to have a meal close by. The place is large and bright and there are plenty of TV's if your here on a game day-night. A great team welcomed us as we entered, sat us and quickly came by for a drink order and questions. It was a simple order from us. Helene had the onion soup (well done cheese) and the Grilled Chicken Salad, I had the a Burger Platter. Everything came out quickly and well cooked. Tasty chicken and a well-cooked burger with fries. The team here was wonderful and anyone walking by either filled our glasses or took away plates. I love to see the teamwork in these places. This will be the new regular stop when we're in the area. KUDO's to the team here at Parkers.

This was my family's first time at Chick-fil-A (although I'd been before. They were so jealous…read moresince I described my first time in such glowing terms!). The hot food was piping hot and delicious. We had the crispy chicken, spicy crispy chicken and the crispy chicken deluxe. I feel like this is the best chicken sandwich I've had in my life. The breading is exquisite and seasoned perfectly with a moist, juicy whole chicken breast inside. I ordered the sandwich and shared the waffle fries because the sandwich is so big. Another in our party ordered a salad and reported that the salad was fresh, crisp and bursting with numerous tasty toppings. It was NOT one of those sad fast-food salads that look "tired." The waffle fries were perfectly crisp and salted just right. My lemonade hit the perfect note of tart and sweet with nice little bits of pulp like homemade lemonade. I've never had better restaurant lemonade. Chick-fil-A had a bit of a wait--maybe 10 to 15 minutes, but it was a busy Friday night so one can't expect instantaneous service. Those serving us were very friendly and had our order for four ready in just a few minutes. The server forgot to mention we needed to order sauce for the sandwiches (maybe she didn't realize we were such newbies!) but that was quickly remedied, so no big deal. We will be back for sure! I look forward to trying other things on the menu as well. It's obvious why Chick-fil-A is growing.

Lil Red Caboose is one of the few lunch/dinner spots in the small town of Clyde, New York. It's located on a corner street, on the way to Sodus Point. It's a outside seating, small stand. The Lil Red Caboose offers a variety of different meals such as Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, French Fries, Sausages, Mozzarella sticks, and of course, the Zwiegles Pop-open Hot-Dogs! I stopped by and picked up a meal I remembered having when I was younger, fried mozzarella sticks and a Red Zwiegles Pop-open Hot Dog. I picked up a order number and took a sit in their outside tables. The ambiance was so relaxing, surrounded by greenery with the sound of nature. The meal was out in about 15 minutes. There was [5] Mozzarella Sticks, thick and filled with cheese. It came hot off the deep fryer and the Zwiegles red-hot dog was cooked to perfection, not too burnt with just a slight crisp to it. The food was delicious! With the Zwiegles, typically you fill up the pop-open hot dogs with onions and peppers to enhance the flavor. Sauces were on the house. The meal came out to be $5.50, quite reasonably for the quality and quantity for food!
