Great food! I usually get a sausage, drink and chips combo. Ask for volcano seasoning if you like the hot and spicy.

Hopefully the cheeseburger and mozz sticks are good. But totally discussed with the hot dog. Ballpark would of been better than whatever they served. Schaellers should be ashamed of themselves for passing that crap off as a hot dog. Oh and the sauce they give with the mozz sticks was tomato paste not a marinara sauce but hey charge people more so they can get less.

We got 2 cheeseburgers, a mac salad,1 regular fries, 1 bottled soda, and 1 small fountain drink. When we placed the order we told the girl behind the counter what we wanted on the cheeseburgers when placing the order. When they were really the girl asked what comes on the cheeseburgers? Mind you there was only 1 other person who ordered after us. Our order was to go. We had already left the restaurant. The cheeseburgers were actually not bad. Had the charlboiled look on them however they were not cooked all the way through. The fries had not seasoning on them, they were cold, and were also not even cooked all the way through. The mac salad was also very plain with no flavor. Now onto the cost of this order. 2 cheeseburgers were $14.00. Average price for 2. They give you a very small portion of mac salad not much bigger than a dime cup charging $5.10. That right there is very overpriced especially with no flavor. Just gross. 1 order of regular fries is $5.40 which is also overpriced. 1 small bottled soda was $3.49 again over priced, as well as a small fountain drink for $3.10. The total for this gross order came to $33.00. So unbelievably ridiculous. "Never Again"!!

Ordered online which was through Grub Hub, they don't have their own system which was OK, but did make me a little worried. Fortunately I mentioned the deal in my notes bc they called me right away and said I couldn't order through Grub Hub AND use the deal. This was confusing as their was no other way to order online. The guy said id have to email Grub Hub and cancel my order, then call him back and order again. I did this but it was annoying. So I got some wings along with a beef gyro and some fries. Fries were ok nothing special. The gyro was not impressive buy not bad i guess. The wings were OK, good size but needed more time in fryer. I also got a drink with my order and their options were severely limited. The store was very run down and it could use a professional cleaning but it was not so much dirty as build up grease and stuff which happens and then you need a good cleaning. They are behind on when that cleaning should have happened. All in all, I wouldn't go back without another 10 for 20 deal.

This place has HORRIBLE customer service. After many years of ordering from them 3 or 4 times a…read moremonth and placing fairly large orders ($40 - $50 each time), they clearly think my patronage is a joke. This evening I ordered several items including 2 orders of Steak Quesadillas, one if which I asked for onions. I stressed when I ordered that 1 should have just meat and cheese and the person on the phone even confirmed that when he read back my order. I was asked to give them 25 minutes and arrived 30 minutes later - then I was told they needed 10 more minutes. I waited for the additional time and even added an additional item because I had that extra time to look at the menu. As the food was being placed in the bags one of the guys said "one of these quesadillas has onions" and the other guy said "they both do." So they just put the food in bags. I did not think they would have screwed up my order like this given what a great customer I have been so I just asked the guy if one of the quesadillas had onions - he said yes. Then as I am leaving the guy cooking appeared to be trying to hold in some laughter. I get home to find both had onions and the 2nd one was suppose to be eaten by someone who is allergic to onions. So after years of eating here and spending thousands of dollars, they screwed up the order, lied about doing it, and then thought it was a joke. So if you want food that just OK and spending money with someone who has no respect for customers - then this might be your place. However, you can spend less money getting fast food, not have to wait as long, and get the same poor service and "I don't care" attitude from the staff. Why waste your money with Culver Hots!!

Your options are all offered either as a melt (think grilled cheese) or as a quesadilla (with flour tortilla instead of bread). We had the Big Dill which was literally fried pickles inside a grilled cheese sandwich. I split it with my companion which was probably a good idea because it was on the greasy side- but tasty. The service was meh- they appeared to take the order and then disappeared into the kitchen. Trying to give them benefit of the doubt that they were understaffed and needed extra help back there today. The dining space was also just meh- there is a bar but it wasn't being used and there isn't much ambiance to the place, but we were there to be with each other (group of 8) so it didn't phase us much.

Things started off great. The servers are very welcoming! We got some water run over, I don't love that they don't have menus and that you have to use your phone. I understand the "convenience" but it's much more convenient to just have a menu. So, we ordered and the pretzel came pretty quick which we got as an appetizer. Four stars it was very yummy, honey mustard was good, queso was good, too much salt on the pretzel though, way too much salt lol, but it was good. Then there was a bit of a wait for our burgers, not forever but a little bit of a wait. The portions are interesting. The fries are shoe string which I personally think is the crappiest form of fry in existence so that's one strike. One of our fries was normal and one of them was bacon and cheese. It was okay but it's a fairly small portion of fries for a $20 dish. As for the burgers we got a plain burger with mozzarella cheese and we got a double burger with onion rings bacon and barbecue sauce on it. They were both good, buns were good, burgers were good, No real complaints but also not like wow I want this again. A bit pricey for what you're getting especially with the slow service.I would say the burgers are similar if a little smaller than Bill Gray's. Then we had a bit of a stumbling block. At this point it was about 5:40\ 5:30 and they were in full swing for dinner Rush on a Wednesday and very understaffed. After half an hour of waiting for our server to come back, I had to get up and go to the bar to order the milkshake. At one point someone came and cleared our dishes and asked us if we wanted more water to which we said yes and they never showed back up. That's definitely a very strong second strike. Bill came to $72 which seems utterly ridiculous for a couple of burgers and fries, a pretzel and a milkshake even if it's a very impressive milkshake. I don't think it was a $20 milkshake. It had an ice cream sandwich on it, two brownie bites and a cosmic brownie. Frosting along the rim with some little candies kind of pressed into the frosting. It looked great and it was good, I just don't think it was $20 good. $15 probably would have been fair. Even though it took them a while to get our order and to get us our milkshake and I had to go track someone down in order to order it they were pretty quick to take our money when it was time to pay the check. They also do one of those awkward things where they have a handheld credit card machine that they pop your card into and set it down while they stand there and watch you put in the tip which I never love. All in all was it interesting? Sure and she really enjoyed it and that's what it was about. I don't see us going back frequently. Small side note for the colder months it's a relatively small restaurant and the front door opens to the street so every time someone either comes in or goes out a freezing gust of air blows through the whole restaurant so come dressed for cold weather.

After a couple of false starts, we ended up at the Tryon Tavern, and the kitchen was still open as well. The bartender was friendly, and we had drinks right away, a cider for me and a Genessee for the guy. Drinks were cold and I liked the cider I was served, so everyone was happy. They have a moderate sized food menu. The guy ordered wings with a spicy Korean barbeque. He didn't say much, but he was busy eating, so I assume they were good! We shared some mozzarella sticks, which were also solid - not home made, I don't think, but hot and melty, so, again, everybody was happy. I saw that you could get any burger made with either chicken or a veggie patty for no extra charge (yay!), so had the Late Riser with a veggie patty. Again, I'm pretty sure it was a Morning Star spicy black bean patty, but I like those, and it tasted great with eggs, guacamole, cheese, and chipotle mayo. There was a little spice from the mayo and the bean burger. I really liked it. The "side" of garlic parm fries was huge! They had a good ratio of topping to fries. Getting our food took a bit longer than expected, but we assumed that since it was late on a holiday, there were probably not many people working that night. All in all, a pretty good experience.
