Lick Mill Park is a perfect dog park, for family barbecues, picnic dates, and athletic activities to visit. Located in North San Jose, this park is quite spacious for a walk. They have a parking lot reserved for the park as well as street parking. We came here to celebrate my friend's dog's gotcha day and it was truly the perfect location for our friends to gather, eat, and play with our dogs. They have a few tables scattered around the park and near trees so you can peacefully enjoy your time under the shaded areas. They also have a few barbecue grills nearby these tables. They have sidewalks around the large grass space for you to walk around which would be especially beneficial during rainy and wet days. Trash cans are everywhere so it is quite accessible to throw away your pet's waste. What surprised me is that they also have tennis courts and I believe a basketball court as well. I'm not entirely sure if there is a need to reserve the space, but it seems accessible for the public on a first-come-first-served basis.

For a small-ish neighborhood park, this one is very nice. There are playgrounds, tennis courts, and picnic areas. The trees are pretty and it is a great place to stroll with a baby stroller and/or dogs.

Lick Mill is a pretty funny name but I've been coming and BBQ'ing at this park since I was in high school with my usual group of friends. Amenities are: Tennis Court Play Area w/ swings and jungle gym in sand A small trail for light walks or jogs. BBQ Area w/ tables. Big grass field Basketball Courts. The parking lot is rather small and street parking can be iffy since your in a residential zone with a apartment complex right over the fence. But the park is very clean and does the job for small festivities.

Flowers were so beautiful in Lick Mill Park today. There is also a good view of Levi's Stadium from one end of the park. I also like it that it is close to Ulistac Natural Area, which is across the street. Some of the things there are playground, tennis court, picnic tables and barbecue areas.

This park is my favorite place to go for a nice quiet picnic. A lot of grass space and just a good environment especially for families

Very picturesque. A good place to lie down on the grass under a tree and read a book. Quiet and not too many people.

Not residing in this county and visiting this park for the first time, I was blown away. I am sort of kind of okay totally envious and jealous. :) OVERALL: Very, very, very well kept and very, very, very clean. Nothing was or seemed broken down. Saw many people walk and play in the playground but not many people picnic/sunbathe. VARIETY: If you love water, there's a walk path for you. If you love redwoods, there's a walk path for you. If you love sunshine, there's a walk path for you. If you love bridges, there's a walk path for you. If you love pavilions, lights, nature, there's a place for you. If you love playgrounds, there's different ones for you to pick from and a super modern clean one too! PLAYGROUNDS: Wow. The equipment utilized is high end. The options is numerous of what one wants to do. The 3 hammocks are fantastic...this modern playground is gated with one entrance/exit door. Questionable individual sitting at the entrance with a table of "free gift," attempting you to entice you to join their program. Restrooms available. Simple parking with multiple spaces for you to pick from. Very ground level flat cement guided trails.

I wanted to like Muwékma Park in Sunnyvale, but I wouldn't recommend it--especially for families…read morewith younger kids or those needing extra safety considerations. While it has some inclusive features, many structures don't feel designed with littles or kids with disabilities in mind. There are open stairs and gaps with no barriers, which made it stressful as my son kept running toward unsafe areas. We liked the climbing section with the big slide, but access wasn't very accessible and things got chaotic with kids not taking turns. The open field is nice for activities like kite flying, but again, no barriers meant constant redirection. Also worth noting: the dog park is right next to the baby swings and restrooms, and parking is very limited and easy to miss. Overall, some nice features, but the lack of safety made it more stressful than enjoyable for us.

It is decent in rain, as it is gravel, but grass. The dog park area is about a 3 star area. The rest of the park is better. It has a very large green field in the center, ringed with a walking trail, picnic areas, and play areas. There is water and bathroom facilities. The parking area is a bit in the small side. If you play Ingress, there are a number of portals here.

Wow wow wow, new park in Santa Clara. Last retouches on the final phase but I could not resist to…read morebe the first one to talk about this fresh minted Meadow Park! You can smell the freshly cut wood as many of the benches throughout the park are cut directly from a tree, which looks so pretty and blending with the landscape. There is plenty of grass and posh playground areas for children, separated in various ages. The park seems designed mostly to cater the families that live in the adjacent high end apartment complexes, very close to famous companies. There are also several picnic tables and even chaise lounges and colorful chairs and various scenes, so not a monotone park. Definitively I will be visiting often. They have built this mini city inside Santa Clara in just a couple of years...nothing ago the Whole Foods was opened and all the nice restaurants and businesses nearby and the list is growing. So sometimes you don't know if you are at some company campus, the patio extension of one of those apartment complexes, the shopping center or the park itself. Hopefully this is kept in great condition and people don't destroy this beautiful park as i have seen happening to some newly built parks, unfortunately. Very pretty area also very close to the walking area that goes by the Guadalupe river and that many employees from the nearby companies use for relaxing and exercising during lunch time.

Great park to touch some grass and sunbathe!…read more I always see folks walking their doggies here and it's so nice. Theres also a mini-playground for kids. Overall, spacious and chill spot.
