So, it finally happened, one of my kids got sent home for head lice. I panicked, of course, bc it's so gross and I have 3 kids, how many of the people in my house have lice! I called Shirley and arranged for her to come the next day. She was so calming on the phone and immediately put my freaked out mind at ease. My daughter, along with her classmates unfortunately all got lice. A friend of one of the moms recommended Shirley to help with the situation. My daughter's classmates hired Shirley immediately, while I tried to resolve the lice issue by myself with lice shampoo from CVS (I wasn't trying to be cheap, but just couldn't wait another night to get the nasty bugs out.) Best Money Ever Spent! I have twin daughters who have long thick hair.. and after I found lice.. But it's a practical reality, so it's a lifesaver to have someone like Shirley who you can send an SOS to in these moments. After waking up in the middle of the night to my little girl scratching her head profusely, I knew right away she had lice yet I had no idea what to do or where to even begin. So I called my friend whose kids had had lice once before and she said "don't waste your time researching or calling your Pediatrician, call the Lice Nannie. Called her at 9:00 pm when I saw lice in one of my kids' hair. She was reachable that late at night, and was able to get to my house first thing in the morning by 8:00 am to get it taken care of, while other places weren't even open for me to call. I called the Lice Nannie because the over the counter remover never got rid of them all. It was great that she comes to you and she did a good job getting rid of everything. The only negative was that she first forgot my appointment and then was late for the rescheduled appointment.
