I want to say that my son and I first got lice in August and it was an absolute nightmare. I had never had it before and honestly I was traumatized, I didn't even know there was lice treatment centers. My friend found tiny locks and I immediately called Kim and she was so sweet and the very next day Nancy was at my home. Nancy is beyond amazing, she is so patient and did so well with my son. My mom loves her too (thankful she never had lice). November rolls around and we get lice again, Nancy to the rescue! read more

I found the lice in my daughter's hair at 5:30pm on a Sunday night. I called Tiny Locks and spoke with Kim and by 6:30pm Andrea - my lice picker - was at our house. She was amazing! Great at her job and also kind and easy to talk to and be around. She made the whole business of lice somewhat pleasant. I love meeting new people like Andrea and sharing stories of motherhood and work. She is passionate about and really good at what she does. All the lice were removed (from 3 heads including mine :( ) by 10pm. The recheck was quick and painless too. I highly recommend Tiny Locks! Ask for Andrea if you can! read more

Another great turn out with Tiny Locks! My daughter father needed to have his hair treated This time around. He called and spoke with Kim she was great as usual and she actually remembered us. She got someone out to the house right a at! Her name was Letty she amazing as well! We enjoyed her company under the sucky circumstances lol. Letty was so efficient she was done in an hr! He has a ton of hair and it's long. Ironically she grew up in the San Pedro area as well so we had great conversations with her! I will always recommend Tiny Locs. Thank you ladies you are so appreciated. read more

I am so thankful to Tiny Locks! I will admit, I'm a pharmacist and I have studied lice treatment in school. But, as a parent, I didn't even know my child had live until the school told me. Even with all the studying, I didn't see anything and just thought it must be a false alarm. I mean, I didn't see any of the bugs I remember from my textbooks. Then again, (once common sense sinks in), those pictures ARE magnified like 1000X. I digress. Anyway, as soon as the school told me at pick up, I immediately googled lice treatment and found Tiny Locks. The owner Kim matched me with Nancy and she was FANTASTIC! I love the fact that they come to our house. My daughter who is usually pretty shy quickly warmed up and was conversing with Nancy. Nancy did show me exactly what I was supposed to see and what the lice actually looked like (in their regular size). I also love that they used non toxic sprays. I'm so glad I didn't attempt to do this on my own, at least for the first time because, again, I wouldn't have even known what to look for before. But also, I'm a bit squeamish, so I probably would have screamed the first time I found a bug. But Nancy was patient, meticulous, and provided me with an even better education than school that now I know how to help prevent/reduce re-infection. Thanks Tiny Locks! read more

I wanted to do a follow up update on today's appointment with Nancy . Last time she came to my home and immediately worked on my hair brushing nonstop everything out of my hair. A week from then I asked her again today if she can do a re comb to make sure I am absolutely free of any lice.As always so nice she re combed and we spoke about our plans etc. I am happily to say I was lice free. She did an amazing job last time that it proved I had nothing on me nomore. Not only did she check me but my son . Thank you so much for your kindness and for truly working hard to remove everything. I totally recommend Nancy to whomever needs help asap. She was fast and very down to earth. Thank you again !! read more

When I got that phone call from school that every parent dreads..."Come pick up your daughter because she has lice", I started itching all over at the thought! Thank God her teacher told me about 'Lice Fairies'! I did some research and called Tiny Locks. Kim set up an appointment for that same evening. Leticia came out and explained step by step what was being done, explained what I needed to do and checked my entire family! We caught them on time and no one else in the family had lice! Hopefully this was the first and the last time! read more

Amazing and honest company that is literally a life saver! After doing a Nix treatment at home, I realized very quickly that the stuff you buy in stores DOES NOT WORK! what a waste of money! My kids still had live bugs in their hair the next day and I was so upset thinking I'd never be rid of them. I called Tiny Locks and the owner answered all my questions and eased my anxiety. A clinician was at my house within a few hours and my kids felt so much better afterwards. We got a great nights sleep knowing we were treated by professionals and that the bugs were gone. Worth every penny!! read more

I was beside myself when I discovered lice in my 6 year old daughter and my 7 year old son, but I decided I would manage and get through it on my own. The next day when I found six live lice in MY OWN HAIR I had a minor melt down and called my mother on the east coast in tears. I am a newly single mom of three and exhausted as it is-- lice on three heads was just more than I could handle. I found tiny locks after my mother sent me links to a few different lice removal services. I called at 5pm on Monday and Alicia was at my house at 6:45pm the same day. She spent three and 1/2 hours on the three of us and didn't leave until 10:45! It is now Wednesday and I have done three recombs since (bc I am paranoid) of an hour each and I have literally found NOTHING. My daughter had so many on Monday before Alicia arrived that I could see them crawling around on her head and now her head is clear. Of course I will continue to recomb for the next week or two like I am supposed to, but I just had to write a review and express my gratitude. In addition to the high quality of service, Alicia was super sweet, good with my kids, and professional. Will call again in a heart beat if this awful/disgusting/soul crushing thing happens again! read more

I had the pleasure of using tiny locks this weekend when I found out my daughter had lice. I called and they sent Debbie to my house and she was aN absolute delight. Not only was she incredibly helpful in teaching me how to make sure my daughter never gets lice again she made it simple and comfortable to learn . Normally my daughter has an extremely sensitive head but Debbie was so gentle my daughter didn't cry once. I would highly recommend them to everyone who has to get rid of lice !!! read more

Very professional. Very convenient. Very efficient. Kim and Leticia were both outstanding. Thank you.

OK where to begin....It was 11 pm and I was brushing my 8 year old daughters hair who normally burshes her own hair but I wanted to make sure she was getting all the knots out since she has super curly long hair. Than that's when I seen the lice. This was our 1st time experiencing lice and i was stressed to the extreme. I had heard about lice clinics in the past but due to the great pandemic of COVID19 I knew most likely no salons were gonna be open. So I did some research and came across Tiny Locks I called Kim at 7:30 am and she eased my mind and was so knowledgeable. She had Diana come out the same day and I am so thankful because there is no way i would have been able to do it myself my daughter has so much curly hair. Diana was amazing she removed everything and when I say everything it was all gone. She also checked my toddler myself and my MIL well sad to say we all had them. It is now one week after and we have been doing follow up comb thrus ourselves and we are LICE FREE!!!! This was a very great service and very reasonable and you are not struggling with the in home kits and wasting money not knowing if it is going to work. Thank you Tiny Locks I will save your number hoping I never have to use it again! read more

Kim & Liberty are sanity savers!!! I had been battling the little lice buggers for over a month. No matter how much I shampooed & combed my girls heads they kept coming back. The mini-monsters even jumped head & infected my niece. I finally gave in and called the professionals for help. Kim was very upbeat and professional over the phone, was able to get my family in at the best time for us. Kim is the boss and she has a few girls working for her that will come to your home - which is great for convenience & privacy. I got lucky and was able to be a training case for Liberty so I went to Kim's home which was located very close to me - she was AMAZING!!! My mom took my two girls (4 & 6) and Liberty was patient & thorough. My oldest has super thick hair of medium length and she was our carrier monkey so had a lot of nits and bugs - Liberty got EVERY SINGLE ONE!!! When Kim went thu to double check she didn't find one left. My mom has the same hair as my oldest and said that Liberty was great. My youngest has very thin blond hair & Liberty was gentle but still got all the lil buggers out. The whole thing took about 2 hours & Kim was there to supervise, offer tips and do a final check. I arrived after class & Liberty was still there so she did my head too - I have very long fine blond hair which tangles ridiculously easy when it's wet. Liberty had a great technique and hardly got any snarles & never hurt my head. I only had a few nits which she got and when Kim did the final comb thru there were none left. During the whole time Kim & Liberty chatted with me much in the was of a really good salon & offered many tips for dealing with then preventing re-infestation. She asked me what I had been doing & advised me where I had gone wrong - RIT lice shampoo does NOT work...the little buggers are growing resistant to it. Combing is the only thing that really works and you need to have a good lice comb. Kim has one which I believe is included in her fee (which is very reasonable considering she is saving your sanity). Kim & Liberty were great & the information shared is invaluable. I am so happy that I finally went with a professional and actually slept w/ out feeling all itchy read more

Camp called with lice scare. Ran 1 second google search. First number popped up for Tiny Locks. Called and Kimberley answered immediately and within 1 minute has confirmed a 7pm family appt in our home with Leticia (Leti) She was prompt and amazing. The treatment is gentle and fells like a spa treatment. No harsh chemicals. She was thorough and explained everything perfectly. She truly is the lice whisperer. "Lice!" A word that strikes horror and shame in every mother! THANK YOU to Kim for talking me and my daughter off the ledge of panic, instilling calm and reasonableness, and for prompt knowledgeable service. Kim spent holiday weekend night time hours walking us through exactly what to do, the facts and fictions of lice, and got a lovely nit picker, Diana, to us ASAP. And the nit picker shows up in an unmarked car, very confidential. I would have paid any amount for their help, thankfully Tiny Locks is very reasonably priced and did not try to up-sell any products we did not need. FOREVER GRATEFUL to this amazing business!! read more

My kids got Lice from Pacific preschool and since the school hasn't told us from previous cases that finally were reported from other parents to us, It manifested to our whole family ! Never been exposed to lice before and didn't know how to look for them. Luckily I found Tiny Locks . The company sent us help right away to our home. Mihaela was sent to us. She put me at ease right away by educating me on signs, what to look for..... I also purchased the products that were great and smelled great as well! We also had a one week follow up check and we're all clear. I truly recommend Tiny Locks and Mihaela ! Thank you ! read more

Not the most responsible people in the world. I was super panicked and called them at 8PM. Kim picked up the phone and was very reassuring and nice. She said that she doesn't have anyone for a home visit but will check for the next day and call us. We waited, the day passed and I called her to confirm for the evening. "Oh, I don't have anyone" was the answer. No apologies, nothing. By not alerting me earlier, she really put us in a bind. We could've made arrangements for someone else. And, she didn't even apologize. Glad it didn't work out, ultimately. We found a much more professional outfit. read more

My 9 year old daughter got lice from a friend. The experience was very overwhelming since my daughter had a lot of hair and to top it off it is very long. I bought over the counter treatment but the eggs were very difficult to get rid of. I was in desperate need for help and I googled lice removal centers but they were very far and extremely expensive. Then I came across Tiny locks which is an in home service. Violeta came to our home in the afternoon and she was very patient and professional. She got the difficult job done of removing all the eggs and lice in just 1 hour! By the way, I live in South Gate Ca, and they go to homes all over the L.A area and Orange County. I highly recommend their services because they take care of the problem in the comfort of your own home. Thank you very much Tiny Locks! read more

I called Tiny Locks as my daughter and I discovered we had lices. They came over to my house, and treated us. For my daughter it tooks two hours as she had a lot of lice. Then, came my turn. It was the end of the afternoon, the technicien was tired, she had been working for a long time and she did my head in half an hour. I got the feeling it had been rushed but did not say anything. It cost me $300. The following morning, I went up to the mirror and saw 3 eggs in my hair. It was the week-end, we did what we could at home to get rid of the lices. I called them on Monday, left many messages explaining but they did not return my call. I was Wednesday when I finally talked to them. They gave me an appointment for Thursday that they cancelled an hour later saying that they could only do a visit for another $100!!!!!!! I tried to explain that the lices had not been removed in the first place but they insisted that if you look at their site carefully, it says that they is not 100% guarantee. So basically, if they leave your head full of lices, it is your responsability and you have to pay them again if you want them to come back!!!!!!! Great business.... I would not recommend them at all. read more
