I called Tiny Locks as my daughter and I discovered we had lices. They came over to my house, and treated us. For my daughter it tooks two hours as she had a lot of lice. Then, came my turn. It was the end of the afternoon, the technicien was tired, she had been working for a long time and she did my head in half an hour. I got the feeling it had been rushed but did not say anything. It cost me $300. The following morning, I went up to the mirror and saw 3 eggs in my hair. It was the week-end, we did what we could at home to get rid of the lices. I called them on Monday, left many messages explaining but they did not return my call. I was Wednesday when I finally talked to them. They gave me an appointment for Thursday that they cancelled an hour later saying that they could only do a visit for another $100!!!!!!! I tried to explain that the lices had not been removed in the first place but they insisted that if you look at their site carefully, it says that they is not 100% guarantee. So basically, if they leave your head full of lices, it is your responsability and you have to pay them again if you want them to come back!!!!!!! Great business.... My 13 yr old daughter and I discovered she had lice this morning when there was a parasite on our bathroom counter after she combed her hair.. I took a picture of it, then enlarged it, then googled it and it was indeed a louse (adult lice) YUK. I sent her to school, then did 2 hours of research on the web and after reviewing various companies in the area along with their yelp reviews, decided on Tiny Locks to help us. I called and Kim answered the phone, and said Alicia would come to the house right after my daughter got out of school. Alicia was personable, knowledgeable, thorough, and educated us on every angle of how this happened or could have happened. My daughter was embarrassed of course, but Alicia was super sweet, soft spoken, and I knew it was the best decision to have someone like her come to the house rather than try to tackle this on my own. In the end it was a bit pricey, but Alicia walked us through all options in a professional manner. In my opinion you cannot put a price tag on the piece of mind she offered to nip these nasty nits in the bud! Oh, and she was willing to have my daughters' friends come over to be checked while she was working on my daughter, and she checked my husband and I while she was there (thankfully we were in the clear) - she was AWESOME. We called Tiny Locks in a panic today after discovering my son had 'nits' and they sent someone within an hour. The clinician, Alysa, was very punctual, friendly, polite and professional. She was also great with my somewhat fidgety kids! She checked all my family and It turned out that my daughter and I also had them :( She treated us all on the spot at home. It was a fairly timely procedure - she was here for about 3 hours - but she was extremely meticulous and I am pretty confident that she has zapped them all. She was very knowledgeable, able to advise us in great depth, and left us with check lists to refer to during the week of after-care treatment.Very impressed. read more

Leticia and Andrea were amazing. I called Tiny Locks on Saturday night and had a very educational, informative discussion with Kim. At 8 am on Sunday, Leticia and Andrea came to our home. Gratefully this was a false alarm. But they still checked each member of our family meticulously, educated us on lice presentation and removal and even put up with our excessively friendly dog! I have to pile on with the 5 star reviews. Alicia R showed up at my house last night and was kind, gentle and profesional. Luckily it was a false alarm and we did not have an infestation but my guess is if we had she would have dispatched the critters in a pleasant and efficient fashion! Let's hope we never need their serviices again but if we do we will be calling them. ALso Ann who handled the phone was pleasant and informative and efficient. I called Tiny Locks after my 5yr old daughter's school called saying they had found nits in her hair for the 2nd time in a week. (I had made the mistake of using over the counter lice shampoo and contrary to what the box says, it did not remove or kill the lice and eggs. Does not work!!). Cut to a week later and they found another nit in her hair after I had thought she was all clear. I decided to call in the professionals this time and I liked the reviews that tiny locks had so I gave them a call. They sent Alicia that same day! She was great with the kids- her demeanor and expertise put us all at ease, especially me after she found nits in my hair!! Today was the follow up check for us and she has declared us all free of any nits or lice!! Hooray!! It was a stressful 2 weeks but Alicia was amazing and we couldn't have dealt with it without her. I had Tiny Locks come after a second infestation in just a months time. Kim answered my frantic call and was so nice amd reassuring. Took the time to speak with me and calmed my nerves. Mihaela came the next day and was a God send! She was so nice and informative. Got rid of the remaining nits in my daughter's hair and also checked my hair. I bought their comb, mint spray and conditioner. It's important that you follow through with the recheck instructions and do what they tell you to do to keep the lice away. Alicia Riggs was so calm, that my terrified, screaming 18 month-old started smiling and let Alicia pull the comb through her hair. My 4 year-old couldn't stop talking to her. I have never written a Yelp review in my life. I always read them, never write them. And I used Yelp to find this service when I discovered my daughter had lice. I have three young children and a crazy life and I needed help fast. We were able to schedule someone quickly. Norma arrived and seemed very nice and was great with our kids. My daughter has very long and thick hair and she took her time weaving through the strands and removing nits and the louse she found. She educated us and all seemed great. I was very happy...until I decided to comb my daughter's hair through that evening before she went to bed. I found 20 nits. 20 nits=20 potential lice. I had read the materials they had left behind and it said you may see a nit or 2-but 20? I braided her up and decided I would comb her again in the morning and call the company because this was perplexing. The next morning I combed her again AND used a magnifying glass and light. I kept finding nits. Yes, not as many as the evening before, but this was getting ridiculous. My husband called and I still cannot believe how we were treated. He was lectured on my nit combing techniques. Did I know what I was looking at? WHAT? Of course I know what I am looking at-I was the one who found the nits in the first place! We were told if Norma comes back and there were not a lot of nits for her to find, that we would be charged again-WHAT? We paid over $200 for their services and products. What poor customer service. It was so utterly disappointing to be treated like that. I know a lot of people have had positive experiences with this company, but I would look around further since there are SO many better options. And sometimes it is just better when you do things yourself. read more
