Contacted Tiny Locks Saturday afternoon for lice removal services for my 4 year old and the clinician was at my home within a couple of hours. Lety was amazing. Very professional and thorough. She had a great rapport with my daughter who can be a bit difficult at times. If you need these services, ask for Lety, especially if you have young children. She will make them feel at ease. My 13 yr old daughter and I discovered she had lice this morning when there was a parasite on our bathroom counter after she combed her hair.. I took a picture of it, then enlarged it, then googled it and it was indeed a louse (adult lice) YUK. I sent her to school, then did 2 hours of research on the web and after reviewing various companies in the area along with their yelp reviews, decided on Tiny Locks to help us. I called and Kim answered the phone, and said Alicia would come to the house right after my daughter got out of school. Alicia was personable, knowledgeable, thorough, and educated us on every angle of how this happened or could have happened. My daughter was embarrassed of course, but Alicia was super sweet, soft spoken, and I knew it was the best decision to have someone like her come to the house rather than try to tackle this on my own. In the end it was a bit pricey, but Alicia walked us through all options in a professional manner. In my opinion you cannot put a price tag on the piece of mind she offered to nip these nasty nits in the bud! Oh, and she was willing to have my daughters' friends come over to be checked while she was working on my daughter, and she checked my husband and I while she was there (thankfully we were in the clear) - she was AWESOME. We called Tiny Locks in a panic today after discovering my son had 'nits' and they sent someone within an hour. The clinician, Alysa, was very punctual, friendly, polite and professional. She was also great with my somewhat fidgety kids! She checked all my family and It turned out that my daughter and I also had them :( She treated us all on the spot at home. It was a fairly timely procedure - she was here for about 3 hours - but she was extremely meticulous and I am pretty confident that she has zapped them all. She was very knowledgeable, able to advise us in great depth, and left us with check lists to refer to during the week of after-care treatment.Very impressed. read more

I have to pile on with the 5 star reviews. Alicia R showed up at my house last night and was kind, gentle and profesional. Luckily it was a false alarm and we did not have an infestation but my guess is if we had she would have dispatched the critters in a pleasant and efficient fashion! Let's hope we never need their serviices again but if we do we will be calling them. ALso Ann who handled the phone was pleasant and informative and efficient. Crazy to be so 'YAY' about something like lice removal but it is alsways nice when you can make the best of a bad thing. read more

Absolutely ridiculous pricing! Give me a break! Catering to the Brentwood big pockets I assume. Sounds like a rip off. Go get yourself a bottle and save the money!!! read more

I called Tiny Locks after my 5yr old daughter's school called saying they had found nits in her hair for the 2nd time in a week. (I had made the mistake of using over the counter lice shampoo and contrary to what the box says, it did not remove or kill the lice and eggs. Does not work!!). Cut to a week later and they found another nit in her hair after I had thought she was all clear. I decided to call in the professionals this time and I liked the reviews that tiny locks had so I gave them a call. They sent Alicia that same day! She was great with the kids- her demeanor and expertise put us all at ease, especially me after she found nits in my hair!! Today was the follow up check for us and she has declared us all free of any nits or lice!! Hooray!! It was a stressful 2 weeks but Alicia was amazing and we couldn't have dealt with it without her. HIGHLY recommended! read more

After an extremely traumatic experience at Little Stars Hair Salon 4 Kids in Sherman Oaks, I desperately called Kim at Tiny Locks after finding them on Google. Kim immediately sent Desiree to my home. Desiree was extremely reassuring, thorough, and knowledgeable. After their services, Kim continued to care for my son and I and went above and beyond in her customer service, knowledge, and level of expertise. Kim really cares about her clients and that says it all. Thank you again Kim for all you did for us through our crazy lice scare. read more

Leticia and Andrea were amazing. I called Tiny Locks on Saturday night and had a very educational, informative discussion with Kim. At 8 am on Sunday, Leticia and Andrea came to our home. Gratefully this was a false alarm. But they still checked each member of our family meticulously, educated us on lice presentation and removal and even put up with our excessively friendly dog! I hope we never have another lice scare but if we ever do, Tiny Locks will be the first call I make!!! read more

I had Tiny Locks come after a second infestation in just a months time. Kim answered my frantic call and was so nice amd reassuring. Took the time to speak with me and calmed my nerves. Mihaela came the next day and was a God send! She was so nice and informative. Got rid of the remaining nits in my daughter's hair and also checked my hair. I bought their comb, mint spray and conditioner. It's important that you follow through with the recheck instructions and do what they tell you to do to keep the lice away. Thank you thank you thank you Tiny Locks and Mihaela! Life savers!!! read more

When our nanny found lice on my 18 month-old and 4 year-old's heads, I panicked. I called Tiny Locks, who were friendly and helpful. They sent someone over immediately. Alicia Riggs was so calm, that my terrified, screaming 18 month-old started smiling and let Alicia pull the comb through her hair. My 4 year-old couldn't stop talking to her. She also helped my wife and I feel like we were not doomed to a lifetime of head parasites on our children. Her instructions for how to clean the house were great and very clear, and one week later, on our follow-up visit... we are lice-free. My wife has already pre-recommended her to all of our friends with small children. read more

Tiny Locks really saved me yesterday. My daughter had lice and we thought we got it all with a new persrciption on the market. She was sent home a second day from school and then my son had it too! I have always been hesitant to hire someone to come to my house (thinking that I could easily do this myself) but with thick heads of hair like my kids, Tiny Locks was well worth it. Nallely was professional and effecient! I would definitely recommend her and Tiny Locks to anyone with a lice problem! read more

I give this business a big thumb up. After arriving to visit my family in LA daughter found lice and had a pretty bad infestation. After panicking and goggling found tiny locks on line and called them to come the next morning. Alicia is a sweetheart. She worked on my daughter for 3 hours and promised she would get all the eggs and lice. She certainly did her part. Tirelessly working for 4 hours. Amazing service. Thank you so much for being there to take care of people that do need this service. I could not even come close to doing such an excellent job. Thank you Alicia and the owner I think was Ann who was very courteous. Many Blessings read more

Debbie from Tiny Locks came over to give us a lice inspection. My daughter had been exposed to a friend who has a serious infestation. I had so much trouble trying to figure out if my daughter had lice or not. The internet information is extremely confusing so I called Tiny Locks. Debbie was gentle, considerate and extremely knowledgable. We knew we were in the right hands. Luckily, the comb through was clear. We took precautions anyway, but were quite relieved. She gave us realy good information and advice. Thank you!!!!! read more

I have never written a Yelp review in my life. I always read them, never write them. And I used Yelp to find this service when I discovered my daughter had lice. I have three young children and a crazy life and I needed help fast. We were able to schedule someone quickly. Norma arrived and seemed very nice and was great with our kids. My daughter has very long and thick hair and she took her time weaving through the strands and removing nits and the louse she found. She educated us and all seemed great. I was very happy...until I decided to comb my daughter's hair through that evening before she went to bed. I found 20 nits. 20 nits=20 potential lice. I had read the materials they had left behind and it said you may see a nit or 2-but 20? I braided her up and decided I would comb her again in the morning and call the company because this was perplexing. The next morning I combed her again AND used a magnifying glass and light. I kept finding nits. Yes, not as many as the evening before, but this was getting ridiculous. My husband called and I still cannot believe how we were treated. He was lectured on my nit combing techniques. Did I know what I was looking at? WHAT? Of course I know what I am looking at-I was the one who found the nits in the first place! We were told if Norma comes back and there were not a lot of nits for her to find, that we would be charged again-WHAT? We paid over $200 for their services and products. What poor customer service. It was so utterly disappointing to be treated like that. I know a lot of people have had positive experiences with this company, but I would look around further since there are SO many better options. And sometimes it is just better when you do things yourself. read more
