I'm very happy with the service I received from Lice Angeles. I woke up and was preparing the kids school lunches when my daughter walked into the kitchen saying that her head was REALLY ITCHING! She was almost crying. I took her outside and did a lice check we had learned in pre-school and to my dismay, I saw lice! I couldn't believe it as there were no signs previously but there they were!!! I immediately got on yelp to look for a lice professionals and say Lice Angeles was not only open at 7:30am in the morning, but that they had great reviews, so I called. Just had Alicia at my house and she is incredible at what she does. I called her last night, and she came at 7 AM this morning, in time to delouse my daughter so we could get her back to school this morning, and then delouse my other daughter and myself. Alicia was patient, knowledgeable and worked quickly. She was very pleasant and professional. She gave me endless tips for washing, bagging, and killing all the creatures running around my house. I made an appointment at a local lice salon first, but then realized all three of us girls probably had it and couldn't imagine chasing my little ones around while they worked through the three of us. Having her come to us was a god send. Also, the salons charge an extra $20 just to look at your head to see if you have it (which you may not). Alicia just charges hourly (and a better rate than the salon at that) so she could look through my husband's hair in 8 minutes and see that he didn't have it. Bam. I've also now heard that lice salons like that have a high overhead so they need to keep you in the chair for a minimum amount of time, even if you only have a mild easy case. Not cool. This review is long overview. My daughter had been complaining her head was really itchy. I saw her scalped and saw that she had a lot of dandruff. Imagine it is a Sunday and your twin daughters complain about their itchy heads. I start brushing their hair and see what I think it dandruff. Only to realize that to my horror it is LICE. I call a few people and Alicia picks up immediately. She tells me she can be at my house in a couple of hours. She shows up on time and spends several hours with us. I have four kids and we all needed to be checked. Four of us had it. It was traumatizing but she set our minds at ease. We had several bouts of lice over the last couple of years with our daughter and fought it with what we thought was a miracle cure... only to realize it wasn't working anymore and, by that time, the lice were beyond our control. Enter Lice Angeles. I contacted Angie mid-day on a Friday and Kathryn was at our house that evening. After a long evening - my husband and I had lice at that point but our daughter was by far the worst :( - Kathryn was satisfied that she had gotten all the live ones and most of the eggs.
