And in the past i have dealt with dealerships that were not understanding or even listened to my needs. A few years ago, i went to greenbrook because i was looking to buy a gmc acadia. New or used, its a car ive loved for a long time. The salesman i encountered was Lance. He sat and talked with me and my boyfriend (now my ex). He asked me a lot of questions about my life, my profession, my family life. He was very friendly and wanted to make sure i truly knew what i wanted. After awhile he showed me around a few cars, and i test drove one. We ran some numbers and unfortunately at that time i could not purchase a new vehicle, but i always remembered how respectfully Lance had treated me and decided that when i was in a better position financially, id come back to greenbrook. This past may, i started car shopping again. One friday, late afternoon, i drove to a dealership just a few miles from Greenbrook and i spoke with a salesman and test drove a very nice car. They gave me a great quote on it as well. After leaving there, i drove down the road to greenbrook. My friend and i arrived probably just a few mins beforr they were closing for the evening (we actually didnt know until later. The never made mention of that). Ernie baptista was the salesman that evening. He did just as lance did a few years earlier. He listened to me, asked me questions, and then we test drove. We ran numbers, i got a quote. I had some things i needed to take care of before fully committing to any new car, but a few weeks later i came back in, had a down payment ready. There were a few hiccups from the car i had owned that i was trading in, but after all was said and done, Ernie and the managers at greenbrook gave me a pretty good price on the EXACT Acadia i wanted. I gave my down payment and made arrangementa to pick up my car a couple of days later. The entire car buying process was so utterly painless. I know people that have spent entire days at dealerships, and i don't think i spent more than a few hours over the course of anfew days with Ernie. Plus he gave me his personal cell number in the event a situation arose. I just had my first oil change and it was free and completely painless. I scheduled it thru the gmc app and was in and out of the dealership in less than an hour. Greenbrook is such a lovely dealership. Professional and courteous, warm and friendly. I plan on doing a lot of business with them in the future and have told a lot of friends and family about my experience. Thank you all so much :)

They honored the quote they gave me online and I left with a check in under 2 hours.

    I'm giving CarMax one star due to the loan payoff and settlement timeline, which was not clearly…read moreemphasized upfront. To be fair, I was given a check immediately at the time of sale. The issue is the loan payoff process, which can take up to 15 business days on CarMax's side before funds are even sent. That does not include additional mail time or processing time by your bank or credit union. There is also no ACH or wire option to speed this up. In practice, this means the loan may not be cleared for three to four weeks. If you're selling a car specifically to clear a loan so you can qualify for another one, this delay can directly impact financing. You may also need to make additional loan payments out of pocket while waiting for reimbursement. While the extended timeline is mentioned in the fine print, it was described in person as taking "a few days," and the full impact of the payoff timing was not clearly called out. That difference matters when real financial decisions depend on it. The staff were polite and professional, but the lack of clear emphasis around the payoff process creates unnecessary risk for customers. My advice: read the fine print carefully and plan for a much longer timeline than what is suggested verbally.

I was very impressed talking and dealing with Sales Advisor James McLane. The initial process was flawless and James restored my belief that dealing for a new car does not have to be worse than going to the dentist for a root canal. No hassle, no pushing for fake add ons, just straight forward price I received previously in the email. Unfortunately, we will have to wait a bit for the new car since the one we choose was not in stock. Delivery should be in about a week. Eagerly waiting for good news from James. So far our experience with this dealer was outstanding. Will follow with detailed review once we actually get the car.

The stars aligned after finding an AMAZING selection of both new and used cars at Crystal Auto Mall in Green Brook & I purchased my beautiful car. Absolutely everyone I encountered was wonderful! My salesman Jose Cabana was knowledgeable and incredibly patient with me, especially when it came to showing/explaining to me all of the MANY features in my new car. I really appreciated him helping me sync my phone AND showing me how to stream my music through my phone. Ben Casablanca, the gentleman in finance, was also really terrific, especially when it came to thoroughly explaining the warranty options available, over what came with my loaded Toyota Certified 2017 RAV 4. I ended up purchasing an extended warranty plan 6 years past what already came with the car as I don't want to worry about potential repairs down the line. Before leaving the showroom (when Jose took me out to my gorgeous freshly washed & gassed up car) Rob Ramirez, the General Car Sales Manager came over to introduce himself asking me if everything was satisfactory and encouraged me to call if I had questions.  Kevin Cadena, Manager of Used Cars came and introduced himself while I was signing paperwork, inviting me to call him if I had questions or needed help. I'd already had an informative & helpful phone convo with Ezzat Megaly, Toyota Sales Manager, who set the tone for a successful purchase before my visit. Honestly, as a woman purchasing a car, I REALLY appreciated the manner in which I was treated. I'm a businesswoman for my entire life and I remember going into other dealerships to buy a new car with MY hard earned money, and the men wanted to deal with my husband! Ugh. At Crystal Auto Mall, you would have thought I was very important. I'd especially strongly encourage women go to this dealership, because they clearly recognize that women are consumers with money to spend! Thank you to everyone! Julie Henry
