Just left the dealership in North brunswick. Walked around for about 30 minutes and no sales person to be seen. Was planning on buying a new truck but I guess they don't need the business. When I went back to my car there was 1 salesperson just sitting at his desk stretching. When I go into my car he just turned his back to me.. sat in the car for about 5 minutes to see if he was busy.. but he wasn't.. so guess I will just go to another dealership. read more

Buyers Beware! Purchased a 2024 KIA Sportage top of the line on a Friday evening. I was talked into driving it off the lot because of "insurance purchases" but my vehicle was not cleaned. The entire inside was with all the plastic parts and not detailed. Also has damage on the steering wheel which was all documented. I have tried to bring my vehicle back twice as well as called 3xs to set up an appointment and have not received a call back to set this up. A month later, I received a call on how I am enjoying the vehicle and told the receptionist all about this and once again, no call back. Once you take the vehicle off the property, no one cares! read more

We bought a three year old Sorento a few weeks ago. The morning of the test drive, it had a flat tire. Our sales rep said they would inflate & hydro test it while we did the paperwork. He later told us the test came up clear, and that the tire must have just been low. It smelled like BS then.....but what we're we supposed to do? We wanted the car. Sure enough, the tire was low the next day. We called the rep back who said they would REPLACE the tire when we brought it back to pick up the license plates. After three weeks of refilling the same tire every other day, as well as multiple phones calls all promising the tire will be REPLACED, our plates finally came in. We took the car back and waited while they performed the service. When they were done, the service advisor told me there was a pinhole leak. The conversation went as follows (paraphrased lightly for space): "Out of curiosity, the day we bought it, it was hydro tested, and we were told it's good. How did that not pick up a pinhole leak?" "Maybe the hole happened after that" "Are you saying we hydro tested the tire BEFORE it had a leak?" "Maybe we tested it at a lower pressure." "Bubbles need high pressure?" "I don't know." "Cool. Thanks." Clearly, they never did the initial test. It's bad enough being lied to; but to offer an explanation so insulting to my intelligence......it's enough that we're moving on from Kia for our next car. Unfortunately, we went in a different direction because the Telluride was just a little too big for me and it was the only truck I was interested in at Kia. The Telluride was beautiful and if I could drive it, I would have loved to buy it here. I explained to Gary we were shopping around looking at different trucks and he wished us well. Just recently got rid of my jeep because global auto mall located in North Plainfield sold me a jeep that had an engine problem but kept giving me the run around for eight months until finally telling me they couldn't fix it and ended up buying it back from me. Purchased a 2017 Kia Sportage SX in Black Cherry 3 months ago. Took delivery in the dark around 9pm. Pointed out scratches all over vehicle and spidering in paint (as if it was ran through car washes). Salesman did not have much to say except come back one day and have service take a look. I came back weeks later and salesman no longer was working there. Bob, the GM basically passed me off. Another new salesperson came out to look at it and noticed the scratches all over. The service manager, I believe said "Well it is a black car". I contacted Kia Consumer Affairs, they contacted Bob at dealership and he basically had a very defensive stance on the whole thing when he called me the next day. They are not for the customer. They are for themselves! I even sent pictures to Kia. Bob basically said and I quote: " Well if the paint looks that bad, then we will simply deny having anything to do with it, or something like that. So basically, they are blaming me! I have never taken the car through a car wash. I have own black cars in the past and have never had so many paint issues. BUYER BEWARE! They lost a great new customer and a spokesperson for Kia.......I am a National Sales Manager for my company and if I treated a new Kia customer, or any customer this way, they would simply replace me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! If I could give zero stars I would... We leased our first car from here in December 2011. I was very specific on our monthly budget with the salesman on the phone, and he assured me that they could sell us a new car for our budget of $200/month. After 3 hours of haggling (the first offer was more than $100 over our budget, which I made clear several times was $200/month) - with our one year old in tow - we accepted their offer on a lease (which I didn't want, I wanted to finance) of a Kia Rio for $230/month. Fast forward less than 18 months later, they contact me and say they can put me in a new mid-sized Forte for the same monthly payments. I go down there, and then they tell me it's going to be $350/month - $120 more than our current monthly payment! Again, after several hours of asking for my keys because I was ready to leave and they had taken my car to be inspected for trade-in value, they finally offer $260/month, which I accepted, but was still not what was originally offered on the phone. Then last week they call again saying that since we are close to the end of our lease term they were reaching out to say the same song and dance - newer & better for the same monthly payment. I told my husband not to waste his time and to try a different dealership, but he went and the same thing happened again. He was there for over 3 hours, and they couldn't come anywhere close to the same monthly payment on a new Sorento. I get that it's a bigger car, but they told me they could do it when I spoke to the sales guy who CALLED ME! This time I absolutely refused to give in, and told my husband there is not way we are ever getting another car from these people again. We've gotten the bait & switch THREE TIMES!! The last two we should have known better from the first time, but never again!!! read more

From the time I walked in, he was considerate, accommodating and very professional. He never pressured me and gave me multiple choices in Kia Souls to look at. His manager, Robert DelVirginia was terrific, too. He helped me get the very best deal on the Kia that I wanted. They both really took the time to listen to what I wanted and what I didn't. Both were there past closing time to help me in any way they could. Mike took the time to get in the car with me and show me all of the features, how to set them up and how to use them. I went back a week and a half ago to get my new plates and registration. Everyone there made the process as simple and understandable as possible from beginning to end. I was never rushed into a decision about anything. Also, the store and property were very clean both times I was there. Everyone was very professional and courteous.
