So cute in here! I've had the beverages and the sweets so far, they're so good. My fiance has a sweet tooth so he gets the sweet drinks and I get unsweetened. We really needed a bubble tea place around here! Bubble tea is a staple everywhere else in NJ and we were missing out over here. I haven't tried the good but I will. Love it! The service is great as well.

My boyfriend and I sat by the brook and it was such a wonderful experience. The only thing that stinks is they didn't have espresso when we went, and didn't say why. The staff was also just kind of bland towards us. I got an iced vanilla matcha which was very very good. My boyfriend got an iced coffee with cold foam and he liked it. I would definitely come back to try their lattes but would hope the espresso is there??

I wanted a place to meet a family member in the area. While, she didn't know about this spot, her adult children/friends did, at least one being a coffee connoisseur! We were looking for coffee where we could sit down and chat & with her dog; this is THE place! It was a hot day and mid afternoon so she enjoyed a strawberry smoothie, and I had a large iced tea and appreciated that they could put it in my own cup. The service was friendly as you'd expect in 'the country.' We also shared a strawberry muffin that tasted like spring as we sat outside. The dog also seemed to appreciate the lovely breeze. Great atmosphere with a surprising amount of seating in and outside even as it doesn't appear that large from the outside. I did see a nice list of sandwiches, but had already eaten my sandwich at the S2H vista. We did see a steady flow of neighbors come and go; the parking lot, while three-quarter full was still ample. More reasons to go back to the area to hike, & connect with family at this coffee stop & more. A respite.

I was in town for the 2pm Lion King Jr. performance at the church just down the street, featuring my #1 Honorary Young Pup as a certain uptight red-billed hornbill (if you know you know). Sustenance was in order, and I wasn't looking for anything too heavy so this brunchy coffee spot seemed ideal - and it pretty much was. There was ample parking in the lot behind the building, but the place was pretty packed when I walked in. Even though I had to weave through a crowd to get to the counter, there wasn't an actual line and I was able to immediately order. Cute spot; looks like it's been fairly recently redone (last few years?) and I enjoyed the bathroom, which features very classy artwork of aristocratic felines on the walls. The soap dispenser is in a weird/awkward spot far to the left of the sink where it's almost impossible not to drip directly onto the floor, but at least they have one. I decided on the Protein Berry Crunch Toast and a slice of their Lemon Blueberry Loaf. Both were very tasty/hit the spot. I got the slice immediately upon ordering and considered getting a second one while I waited for the Toast. Cooler heads prevailed. It felt at least a little less naughty than that lemon loaf that Starbucks has, primarily because of the lack of icing (it has powdered sugar on top instead) and was moist; not too crumbly. The Toast came out probably in 10 minutes or so, which I think is perfectly acceptable given that it was clearly busy in there with both in-person and online orders. For the most part, I thought the combo of ingredients worked really well together; I was a little apprehensive about the cheese coming in, but it's pretty subtle and only dominant in a few random bites. I think the weakest part of the toast is the blueberries, but that's honestly more of a personal palate call than anything else - it just didn't totally mesh with the cheese for me and didn't have the vibrant taste of the other included fruits. But same token, part of the optics of this dish hinges on that blue. Everything is a balancing act. I'd totally get that again in a pinch, especially if I wasn't looking for a giant meal. The service/hospitality was very good, almost too good. After I finished my loaf, I left its wrapper and my number card (for them to locate me for the rest of my order) on the table while I used the restroom, and they were both picked up by an employee doing a sweep. That's arguably on me, who temporarily abandoned a table that looked like it had nothing but garbage on it. Even though it required 10 seconds worth of troubleshooting to get my number back, I don't know how you don't consider that a positive on the part of the staff. The same guy took my "real" garbage on my way out before I had a chance to bring it back inside. Very friendly, pleasant staff. Nice spot if you happen to be around. Will try to sample the coffee options on my next foray.

I was a little startled when I walked in; it almost felt like a warehouse or something - there is a TON of empty, unutilized space in Pennyrose and despite music playing in the background, it's almost too quiet. There's a few upholstered pink chairs throughout the establishment, but mostly it's just square footage to roam around in. Not much of a ding if at all, but they definitely could use a little more furniture in here to make it more comfortable. Easy problem to fix - just hit up a few estate sales and you're golden. My chum (this is what chums are for) noticed that they had rose flavoring, which is my absolute favorite; why lavender is getting so much traction in the floral genre is beyond me. I ordered a rose latte with skim, and it was very tasty. The barista told me because it was a hot latte that it had to be a size large (not clear why) but perfectly fine by me on a nippy, overcast November afternoon straight out of Folklore. Perfect amount of rose without being overwhelming and really hit the spot. I also grabbed an intriguing looking blueberry lemon iced scone. Also really good though one corner of the scone had too many blueberries so I avoided that, but that's a total palate preference on my end. Would absolutely gnaw on that again. The service was excellent. Beyond receiving pretty much a dictionary definition perfect latte, the barista just let us hang out by the front window for a few hours people watching. Coffee houses SHOULD be communal spaces to just chill out in for a while, so if it had been an issue that's end game for me, but we both felt very welcomed and easily could have lingered for a while more but SOMEone (cough cough chum cough cough) needed to buy soy candles in Lafayette or something. So it goes. Just a little more interior decorating, and I think you really have something here.

It did not have a strong pumpkin taste, and it had some nice cinnamon flavor. The sandwich was not my favorite. The eggs seemed like the ones you get from a fast food place, and the sandwich was greasy. The initial vibe of the shop is super cute. It has very nice people working there, and they have nice couches and chairs. It does feel a bit empty, and it lacks a level of comfortability that I was expecting.
