If you don't want your entrées coming out with the appetizers, just give them a heads up, because the kitchen moves fast here. We started with the mushroom dish and a hearty soup...both full of flavor and the perfect start to the meal. Then came the star of the night: the lamb chops. Perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and melt-in-your-mouth good. Everything we tried was fresh and satisfying, the kind of food that makes you want to go back the next day. The service was on point- Friendly and attentive, and the whole space has this quirky, cozy feel, like you're sitting in your grandma's living room with its mix of chairs and warm, homey vibe. It's also BYOB, which is always a win. We brought a bottle of wine that paired perfectly with the meal. Overall, Butcher's Grill is a must-visit if you're in the area. Great food, quick service, and a cozy atmosphere that makes it stand out. Can't wait to come back!

Everything else (chicken, salmon, burger) was overcooked. I would stick to the steaks. Seems like their speciality. The food presentation was great tho! And seems like locals love it. We came for an early dinner so they were able to accommodate us but it was busy by the time we left.

We ordered a salad, made them aware of a nut allergy and despite that, the salad came out with nuts. We sent the salad back to be remade (waitress did not seem concerned) and it came back without the chicken we ordered. For dinner, 3 of us ordered steaks. Each steak was undercooked/cold. I would not recommend this place at all.

As soon as we sat down, the staff brought over warm bread with a cheesy crust on top, simple but really good, and a nice way to settle in. I started with an Old Fashioned mocktail, which I have to admit just didn't work. After a couple of sips, I gave up on it. I stuck with the mocktail because I was taking medication for a cold, but honestly, I found myself wishing I had just ordered the real version. Once the French onion soup came out, things turned around quickly. It was exactly what I needed, rich, hot, and comforting in all the right ways. Our waiter checked in just enough without hovering, and the rest of the staff was just as attentive. It felt welcoming, whether people were staying at the resort or just coming in for dinner, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. For my main dish, I went with the burger cooked medium-rare, and it hit the mark. Juicy, full of flavor, and paired with crisp fries that were actually seasoned well. Between the quality of the food and the friendly service, the Crystal Tavern left a good impression. I'd definitely go back and try more of the menu next time.

Once you enter through the store, there is a sign to wait to be seated. The place has a nice and bright rustic vibe to it. I really liked the decor and table setup. Even the napkins had a rustic vibe. Started off with the potato scoop ($16) which was my fave item. The potato was shaped like the Fritos scoop chip, and the cheese dip that came with it had chunks of cheese in a melted cheese sauce. For my main, got the pulled pork sandwich ($16), which came in a pretzel knot bun and creamy slaw. It was solid meal and very filling. Other mains ordered were the roast beef "pho" style sandwich ($16) which I had a bite of and it was good and not what I expected thinking roast beef. Roast turkey ($16) was warm and also tasty. Each of the mains came with a side of potato salad. I will be back to try the sloppy Joe and their dinner meals. I highly recommend this place if you want tasty, high quality meal for a fair price. * Highly recommend making reservations on weekends * Street parking * Good service

If you're into farm-to-table fare or al fresco dining, you couldn't do better than Chef's Garden…read more The restaurant is connected to the Crystal Springs resort, so getting there involves a bit of a walk through the grounds. Not that that's a bad thing. The resort is beautiful, and what you see right before entering the restaurant is the lush vegetable garden that provides much of the raw goodies for the menu offerings. The restaurant itself is quite small and intimate, so timed reservations are required. And while we're on the subject of time, keep in mind that certain entrees might take a while to cook. At the time our family dined, there was a 54 oz. steak on the menu that caught our interest. Our server informed us that it would take an hour to cook it to medium doneness, which meant we were sitting for some time before we actually enjoyed it. That said, the steak is absolutely worth it. We split this giant bone-in behemoth of a meat chunk as five adults, and there was more than enough to go around as a heavy appetizer. An almost comical amount of potatoes was served alongside (which was also the case for the seafood platter), along with some grill-charred onion slices. While waiting, we noshed on a fair number of other appetizers and individual entrees, all of which were similar in the quality of preparedness. Some things - like the focaccia and the garden pickles - blew us away in freshness and flavor. Other things, like the octopus and the pork ribs, were decent but left us wanting for more in their tapas-like serving size. Also notable is their service. The servers here work SO hard. We had two of their best dedicated to our large party, and we found them to be attentive, incredibly thoughtful, and well-versed on the menu items.

Inside, the dining area is spacious, and tastefully furnished with a nice warm fireplace in the room. The bar area has plenty of seats and TVs for sports fans. Our server Angela B. was so very pleasant, and attentive. She informed us about weekday events held at The Barn (trivia, bingo, vinyl night) and what sounded like a great Brunch Sat/Sun. We will be returning to experience some of them. We started with "Barnachos" ($18) containing a generous portion of pork (carnitas) and the usual nacho components. No pump cheese here though!
