This place has so much potential. Great space and the staff is awesome…read more The food is lacking unfortunately, we got the steak tips, burger, and mozzarella sticks. The steak tips were wayyy overcooked - we asked for medium and it was very well done. Same with the burger - very overcooked. The fries were very obviously from frozen. The mozz sticks were way too big. here are the tips to make this place way better: better cut of meat, don't overcook the meat. The burger neeeeeds a sauce! FRESH fries - from a potato! and make the mozzarella sticks less thick. Everything needs to be homemade... that's what makes customers coming back. Drinks were good but veeerrry sugary - make them not as thick... fresh & light is more like it I hope this place survives and takes my advice - it would only help!

I hate to be that person so we just paid and left but the photo speaks for itself... margarita flatbread was also pretty bad. The sauce tasted tasted like salsa, and it had squares of melted halloumi on it? Looked nothing like one of the pictures I saw on Google reviews so I'm thinking they may have just ran out of ingredients yesterday. Even just the restaurant itself was pretty gross. Sticky floors, dirty plates and silverware given to us, dirty bathroom. Definitely won't be going back.

After we visited another landmark diner in Worcester a few weeks ago we decided to try The Parkway…read morediner on Shrewsbury Street, I've literally drove past this place hundreds and hundreds of times in my lifetime and I had never been here. We visited on a Monday morning around 10 am and I thought for sure I was going to a diner. Nope. There's a diner there, but you go in a door next to the diner, I could see the empty diner as I walked by (see picture), but you're pretty much going into a barroom that serves breakfast (see picture). There's a bar with seating around it and a bartender/server behind the counter and all the liquor on shelves. My first thought was it smells like someone has been smoking in here. We grabbed a high top and our server came over with menus and we ordered shortly afterwards. I ordered my usual eggs over easy, corn beef hash, home fries and wheat toast, my husband ordered as omelette and home fries. Our meals were meh, the home fries were dry af and the corn beef hash was un memorable. This is a pretty popular place and we were trying to figure out why? We decided it has to be that they serve alcohol. As we were leaving my husband mentioned the stank of cigarettes so I knew it wasn't only me who could smell it. I gave the stars for the service as I wouldn't go back.

Countless times I've been here in both the older diner part and the newer section. All of the food is solid, but their eggplant parm is pretty hard to beat anywhere, and I'm picky about that.

This is a cool place - it's a bar, has some games a photo booth plus karaoke in a little side area…read more- with some cool metal art sculptures in the windows. We went here for a friend's birthday celebration for karaoke on a Sunday night. The DJ is very cool and seems to know the crowd well as they're regulars here and our friend is well known here too - so it was a really fun night! You write your song on a paper and hand it to the DJ and then the lineup shows up on the screen after each song so you know when your song is coming up! The DJ calls out your name and then after every song again calls out for applause which was nice. And he also sang some songs solo and with the birthday boy, so that was cool! Another great thing is that they have 4 mikes! That is awesome because not every karaoke place we go to has 4 mikes. They have a good sound system and the screen above shows the lyrics. My only 1 suggestion would be if they could move the screen to the opposite wall so that people are facing the crowd while singing like you would on a stage as opposed to having their backs to the crowd. The place was quite busy considering it was a Sunday night so it's clearly popular with the locals. We didn't sample any food but friends were having drinks from the bar. Parking was super easy - just street parking right outside and free!! Overall a good time was had by all!

I'm staying up on the hill at the Vida. So it's a 28 min walk from there. All downhill one way. All uphill the next. It's a Tuesday night and they were packed at 6pm. I'm here by myself so I was able to grab a spot at the bar. Easily found one and got a menu quickly. It was loud when I walked in but surprisingly quiet on the opposite side of the bar. I told the bar tender I was caught between two dishes and she helped me pick. The Turkey BLT. I also got the crispy Broccoli because it looked like something I couldn't just get anywhere. Both were great choices but a ton of food. The broccoli was super sweet with a little wasabi after kick. The turkey BLT was thick cut turkey breast not overshadowed by the bacon. A lot of times a BLT is just assuming that you just want a bacon sandwich. Not this one. I'm not supposed to have bacon so I have to remove it. It's a shame when I'm out traveling I don't get to share these experiences with my wife. I'd love for her to try this place.

However we were seated at a large, awkward table in the back of the second floor area where a door was open to an outdoor patio area. The temp was in the high 50's and since we were very cold we asked that they close the door to the outside or reseat us. Initially a cocktail waitress said (rudely) that closing the door was impossible because it would make it hard for her to get in and out. Eventually a manager type of guy came over and closed the door. Fine...except college kids were going in and out the door to the outside patio area every few seconds so we continued to freeze. Complained again and asked to be moved...nothing! Eventually and mercifully we finished our dinner and were ready to leave. The snippy and sassy cocktail waitress continued to go in and out the door making sure that she opened it widely each time, and sneered at us every time. On our way out I complained to the general manager and he said "sorry" but didn't acknowledge that we asked to be reseated and we were just ignored. This place is packed all the time so I assume they don't care about one disgruntled table of 5, still, you should know that if the weather is chilly don't let them seat you anywhere near the outside patio...you'll freeze and they won't care.
