I told her we were just Christian.. she said what kind of Christian.. I said.. well, I was raised Mormon (because I'm honest) I didn't say this part.. Finding myself and my truth was the hardest thing I've ever done. Breaking away from the Mormon church in Utah.. was no easy task. However I did it for me and my kids and I'm proud of the choices I've made. I don't care for organized religion. So.. I told her we were christian. Because we believe in Christ. I'm open to it all. Catholics, Protestant, Mormons, Even atheist. Because I don't judge. I just love. She then said.. We don't accept Mormons. I said... I just told you we aren't Mormon. (Haven't been for 10 years) She said. Oh right. You said that. She proceeded to say that people new to the area need to establish a church and wait 3 months. Then get a pastor reference. I get it. I'm a rule follower. However, am I suppose to put my kids in public for 3 months? Then switch them as they're getting acclimated? Or just not put my kids in school and wait to see if they accept us. Already judging us? That's not very Christ like. I don't care to be apart of a school or church that's judge mental. That's one reason I left the Mormon religion. The lack of knowledge and lack of understanding was a humbling conversation for me. After her saying all that. I said, You know what? I don't think this school is right for us. Thank you for your time. Thank you Ontario Christian, for showing me what I want no part of.

The school is relatively clean. As much as a school can be. Custodian staff do a good job and security keeps the school safe. No issues with safety. The security does a really good job honestly. The playground is nice. Pretty basic, but well-kept. Everything about this elementary school is great. The students are awesome.

Let me say that there school security is NOT a traffic controller. It is absolutely illegal to have vehicles block off a major road (Orange St), Not to mention there is PLENTY of parking inside but again, this security doesn't seem to know how to do her proper job and this school's administration seem to like breaking state rules/laws. All it takes is a phone call to the Unified District and the SDE and they'll get an earful. I work for operations for many school districts throughout SoCal and non of the schools have it as bad as this school. My oldest is in 5th & youngest in 1st. Both years we have had incredible teachers. Mrs. Alba (the principal) has been just as wonderful. They have handled the pandemic respectfully. Principal is like so charismatic and involved w kids that excitement and positive radiants when he speaks!
