Excellent and conducive environment for learning and establishing positive social relationships…read more Great staff and sports programs. My 6th grade granddaughter and second grade granddaughter have been attending since kindergarten and have been very happy there.

We are new to California. I was looking for a Christian private school for my 2 boys…read more I spoke to a lady at this school today. She asked of what Christian faith we were.. I told her we were just Christian.. she said what kind of Christian.. I said.. well, I was raised Mormon (because I'm honest) I didn't say this part.. Finding myself and my truth was the hardest thing I've ever done. Breaking away from the Mormon church in Utah.. was no easy task. However I did it for me and my kids and I'm proud of the choices I've made. I don't care for organized religion. So.. I told her we were christian. Because we believe in Christ. I'm open to it all. Catholics, Protestant, Mormons, Even atheist. Because I don't judge. I just love. She then said.. We don't accept Mormons. I said... I just told you we aren't Mormon. (Haven't been for 10 years) She said. Oh right. You said that. She proceeded to say that people new to the area need to establish a church and wait 3 months. Then get a pastor reference. I get it. I'm a rule follower. However, am I suppose to put my kids in public for 3 months? Then switch them as they're getting acclimated? Or just not put my kids in school and wait to see if they accept us. Already judging us? That's not very Christ like. I don't care to be apart of a school or church that's judge mental. That's one reason I left the Mormon religion. The lack of knowledge and lack of understanding was a humbling conversation for me. After her saying all that. I said, You know what? I don't think this school is right for us. Thank you for your time. Thank you Ontario Christian, for showing me what I want no part of.

I always felt completely safe dropping her off each morning and never had to worry about her throughout the day. One thing I especially appreciated was that the entire school is nut-free. My daughter has a peanut allergy, so knowing that the school took this seriously gave me so much peace of mind. There was even one occasion when a parent brought peanut butter cupcakes for a birthday celebration, and I'm guessing they weren't aware of the nut-free policy. Her teacher immediately made sure the cupcakes were not opened or consumed by any of the students and returned them to the parent. I was so grateful that she was so attentive and proactive about my daughter's safety. Over the three years, we had the pleasure of having Ms. Ericka, Ms. Esperanza, Ms. Yoshimy, and Ms. Ariana as teachers, and I can honestly say that every one of them was wonderful, caring, and skilled. We also loved seeing Ms Elena, Ms Kristen, and Mr Rob every day as they I really felt they cared about each and every one of the kiddos there. Our most recent teacher, Ms. Yoshimy, did an especially amazing job preparing my daughter for kindergarten. By the time she graduated, she could confidently write all of her uppercase and lowercase letters and had even learned how to read! I believe she had made her way through around 20 books. My daughter started kindergarten this month, and she is already ahead in many areas because of what she learned at TLE. She is not even learning some of the things yet that she had already mastered with Ms. Yoshimy! I have recommended TLE to friends and family many times and will continue to do so without hesitation. We are so grateful for the wonderful teachers and staff who cared for our daughter and helped give her such a strong start.

We highly recommend this school for toddlers!!!…read more We are incredibly grateful for the love, patience, and guidance our little Austin has received during his time here. As he prepares to begin Transitional Kindergarten, we are excited to see him continue to grow and thrive in this next chapter of his educational journey. A very special thank you to Ms. Yoshimy for the care, dedication, and encouragement she has shown Austin. Her kindness and commitment have made a lasting impact on him, and we sincerely appreciate everything you have done. Thank you to the owners, Ms. Kristen and Mr. Rob, for providing such a positive learning experience. We will always be grateful for the knowledge, confidence, and wonderful memories Austin has gained during his time with you all.

This school has yet been the worst experience for my daughter and I , Since she's started in…read moreFebruary I've struggled with the unwelcoming staff. Not only the office and outside staff but the teacher and students as well (SHE IS 5!) I've never struggled so much with any school, as a working mom she's been involved in daycares/headstarts since she was 2 and this is the first time she begs me to not go and I've never encountered such environment. Kids cry at the entry of the door before leaving. Think together helpers also are very rude. Tuesday of this week my daughter had an incident leaning on the chair and unfortunately hit herself with the corner of the table. They called to say it was not an emergency however it is bruising and she's hysterically crying if I can pick her up, once I get her she has a HUGE bump in the middle of her forehead with a dent in the middle of it! This was definitely a big deal and they were so careless about the whole situation made it seem as if it weren't an emergency. Whoever called from the nurse office stated"she can still keep working , I think she'll be fine but if you prefer to pick her up that's okay too " like how would you expect a child to go back to class after that?? Id rather them let me know she fell very hard and needs to get picked up ASAP. Today they had a popcorn day and did not give my daughter popcorn because she needed to be quite while sitting down on the carpet, this wasn't a lesson as this is free time after school program and it was not homework time nor worksheet time , it was a hostile activity where kids need to be quite for snacks. Ridiculous!!. This is all only this weeks situation , as my daughter has also struggled with 5yr old girls that push her off the swings because she got their first. I'll be speaking to the district, this is so upsetting. This is my first review ever, because I want all the moms to be aware and may this change immediately!
