The store is a used bookstore perfectly located across the street from the college. It specializes in selling (and buying) textbooks for the college courses offered nearby. In addition to the textbooks, they carry non-fiction and fiction books (mystery, sci-fi, romance, etc.). The non-texts on the shelves are neatly arranged by category and alphabetically by author. In addition to books, they have some quick study guides, lab coats, and notebook binders, among other things that a student might find useful. Oh, and they even had a section of children's books, too. After browsing a bit through the titles just to make sure we hadn't missed anything, we left without buying anything. But we were glad we'd stopped in to see what they have so we'd know.

For example some courses the books are way more expensive if they are book version. But the class I was taking was only $10 difference between virtual and loose page version. The employees was very helpful and showed me where it was located. The line had 5 people infront me and took a long time getting checked out. Wished they had check out service or something else. But the employees are nice. Yes getting materials are expensive but spending money on bettering your life is sometimes needed. Overall a good experience.

They said also are doing for Dia de Los Muertos next and all the other holidays coming up. They have a cute little reading area and table on the side with plush animals for kids to read and play. Very cute aesthetic and fun place to take your child in when strolling around downtown.

The inventory is incredible, deep and varied in a way you rarely see anymore. And the gentleman who runs the store is something else: unbelievably knowledgeable, and he knew exactly where every single record was in the shop. He made the whole experience feel personal and easy. Chuckles is owned by husband and wife, Jerry and Mary. Last year they moved from Bridge Avenue to around the corner on Dixie Highway south of Bridge Ave. They are now located in Hobe Sound's charming shopping district. This is the coolest store. It is crammed with unique items around ever corner. How about a giant Egyptian statue or a King Tut sarcophagus bookcase? Maybe a bobcat taxidermy. The furniture was gorgeous and so was the art. You could lose all track of time browsing the multiple rooms of books that would make Belle weep with joy. This is the kind of store that makes you want everything. This morning we loaded up that car along with a couple other RC cars that belonged to my older boys and had been sitting broken in the garage for years, and headed over to Legends RC Hobby Shop with honestly pretty low expectations. The experience could not have been better. The guys behind the counter were incredibly friendly, jumped right on the cars, and managed to get all four of them running again while we waited. Seeing the excitement on my son's face was awesome. I was so impressed that I ended up buying him an RC boat too so he has something else to help pass the time while dealing with the boredom of a broken arm. Highly recommend these guys. Great customer service and just genuinely good people.

She fell in love, the minute she laid eyes on Eau Verdiere at Enoteca Vin in Raleigh, NC. When the restaurant closed - she contacted the owner to see if they were interested in selling the artwork. No response, her quest continued, she searched high and low. Finally, there is hope! With all the weight riding on the visit: My visit, to check out this place she came across on the internet. They have an amazing amount of vintage poster reproductions. She wants it in the largest size possible and sends me to check out quality. I enter the location and make my way up the stairs. I am greeted by a friendly guy and tons of beautiful reprints! I immediately let him know what I am in search of and he instantly thumbs through a stack reprints and pulls out the exact image. Perfect! I explain to him that we are concerned about the quality, once the image is blown up. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly; he reassures me that it will turn out beautifully. He brings out a sample of the paper the reprint will be done on. It's nice, heavy and will allow for great color saturation. He notifies me there is a larger size available that's not posted on the internet. I walk out extremely pleased! I had hesitations going on this visit. I don't know a lot about artwork and it's obvious. I was nervous that this place would be snooty and make me feel uncomfortable about the questions I asked. This wasn't the case at all. It was a great experience. Now, I just have to convince my husband that we need some vintage artwork as well!

Amazing selection in-house and online, tons of Cappiello. I walked in to pick up my poster, trying to figure out where I was going to take it for framing and what that was going to cost me. Then I took a look around at the gorgeous frames in the shop. They helped me choose a frame that looked great with my poster, and boom -- finished it in a day. One day! Crazy good service, impeccable quality (heavy paper, rich colors in the reproductions, real wood options on frames, nothing looks cheap). Wish I had more wall space for more of this art. Pleasantly surprised by the whole experience.
