Order from this place regularly and always love what I get! Solid roast beef, amazing chicken kebabs & fingers, and excellent French fries (really anything fried here is fantastic). The salads are usually really good too, since you can add kebabs or chicken fingers to them. Very quick for takeout but delivery is usually quick too. Great neighborhood spot! read more

$10.15 for a chicken kabob salad. Chicken was perfectly cooked. The lettuce was brown throughout the salad and you get a only a half of a pita with the salad. Maybe it was an off day for them but I tossed most of the lettuce salad in the trash. read more

Prepare yourself....this is long. Me and my fiance were ordering take out. His dad passed in April....mine just over a month ago. We were talking about how much our dads loved Liberty Bell I told him I remember my dad bringing home leftovers of a seafood platter and I would eat all the Soggy leftover food. We spent over $100 and ordered 2 fisherman platters a mixed grill a roast beef sandwich wing ding chicken things and a plate of chicken broccoli Alfredo. When we got the food it was already soggy I had one clam one shrimp my fiance had one scallop and he spit the scallop out we looked at it and it was raw. I said well mine look cooked and I cut it open and it was not and there was a long piece of blonde hair that was embedded into the batter of the scallop. So I put the scallop down and there was a black hair about a quarter inch long on the styrofoam. I understand things happen but when I called to explain what was going on she said she will have the manager call me tomorrow. I told her that doesn't do anything for me now. I told her I wanted to speak to the supervisor or a manager and she told me no one was there and then I told her to call her manager because I wanted a refund on a $25 plate of food two of them actually. She told me she could not refund me the money so my fiance got on the phone and spoke with her. She ended up hanging up on my face and I called her back and ask her if she called the manager and she said he did not pick up so my fiance got back on the phone and said I will call the Board of Health right now because this is disgusting unsanitary and unsafe. We had to wait on hold while she called the manager again and we were told we could have the refund if we brought the plates back. She tried to give us a credit or new food but after what we got I did not want to eat there I was so disappointed the lack of customer service and empathy because we were celebrating me going back to my work because I had a very tough time dealing with my father's passing so what was supposed to be a very enjoyable dinner to reminisce about our fathers we were not able to eat with our family. We got there with the food so we wasted more gas money and we handed her the plates and a gentleman was leaning on the side staring at us which I got to be very rude and my ask him to please stop staring at him and he kept staring and my fiance was getting very agitated because of the situation he told him again to stop staring at him and then the woman said if you continue to be rude I'm not going to refund your money and I told her oh yes you will refund me my money so needless to say the poor customer service overpriced bad quality food wasn't enough the upset stomach nausea and vomiting from this food put the cherry on the cake. Later on that evening we had a very late dinner at Mike's Roast Beef in Woburn and that food was delicious and the customer service was great. I will never eat here again and it's sad because my dad loved this place read more

Seafood here is fresh and not too oily. Tartar sauce is home made and isn't too heavy. Overall a very fast for pickup as well.

Liberty Bell is located about a mile from my workplace and we decided to try it one day. I ordered the chicken kabob Caesar salad and I was completely blow away. Hands down, the greatest salad I've ever eaten anywhere. This is now my go-to place for salads on Fridays at lunch. read more

Liberty Bell is a great go-to restaurant. Nothing too fancy, just your old reliable kind of place. I have never had a bad meal from here, and there are lots of great choices no matter what you're in the mood for on any given day. The chicken kabob is really good; I like it in a wrap or in a salad. The roast beef is also delicious, and the fries are very good too. The service is always fast and friendly whether you're picking up or getting delivery. Ordered a number of subs from LIberty Bell in Stoneham today. We noticed additional charges for letter, tomato, pickles , cheese etc. Called back to ask why - there is NOTHING on the menu stating extra charge for condiments/veggies- paper menu or website menu . Asked to speak with a manager, ended up speaking with the owner. Owner stated to us that he could care less about the money and does not care about our business. Eventually offered us $2.00 off on our next order but never asked who we were - just hung up. These extra fees are NOT listed anywhere! Our office orders large amounts of food from this sub shop and we are super disappointed in the response to our question. The owner was rude and dismissive! Disappointed in the response but love the food. Will still order from here - just be aware of the extra hidden prices! read more

I've eaten here many times. I think the food is very good and the staff is extremely friendly. I just wish they would put some time and money into making the place a little more attractive. I've never had a bad meal at this place and the service is pretty damn good. This is no steak house or some funky little pizza joint...it's "fast food" that serves its purpose. Ever thing from their subs, chicken kabob plates and their yummy Greek salads. Even their fried clams and haddock plates are good...they kinda give Kelly's a run for their money. I was craving a seafood plate last night...first place I thought of was liberty bell...woburn has no place for fried seafood...I always enjoy this place! It's clean ,well priced,and really good!! My seafood plate was excellent..I would just say the fish on the plate was ok...I've had fresher..but the scallops and clams perfection! I brought the shrimps home for my daughter...love the fries and rings..it's a great seafood plate..big bowl of cole slaw too! You can't beat the $19.99 price..well worth it! I use to like Liberty Bell a lot, especially when they were in Wakefield and had a drive through. But, the last few times I have gone there, the food has been very greasy with a funny old oil after taste. So if I go there I can't get anything deep fried because it all has that taste. I miss this place! It's been a while since I've moved away from this area and I was just craving an LB tuna sub with, get this, feta and their house dressing = SO. GOOD. A total fatness bomb but completely worth it! Aside from the odd tuna sub combo, Liberty Bell has the BEST fresh Greek/Caesar salads and they're huge. As I mentioned before, the house dressing either regular or creamy is fantastic. And if you don't want subs or salad this is the best place for good fried seafood (I prefer it even over Kelly's, which I think is more grease and oil than anything else). We, (some co-workers), eat at Liberty Bell Stoneham at least once week. Generally our favorite is anything with their grilled chicken or buffalo chicken strips. The grilled chicken is fresh, actually grilled, and loaded with white meat. The buffalo chix wrap is the best in town. The onion rings and seafood plates are also excellent. Of course, the Roast Beef is delicious. read more

They do deliver! My grandparents order from here all the time and they are very kind to them. My grandparents always get the fish sandwich and chowder which is always quite good. I personally really like their chicken kabob salad which is quite generous. Probably the best around here. The fries are fried with onion rings and either covered with onion powder or whatever... but they always leave you smelling like onions. But they taste like onions which can be good if you are not on a date. Definitely good in my opinion. I am really pleased with the amount. I use to frequent Liberty at least twice a week, however they have just lost me as customer. Two times after ordering their buffalo wings, I received mostly drumsticks. The second time I specifically requested equal mixture and after being assured of it, I still received twice as many drumsticks. IMO, Liberty's prices have gone up while quality has gone down. read more

I was traveling for work and ask for a recommendation for sea food, I was told about The Liberty Bell, so I went ,ordered a Fried Fisherman's Combo plate, Shrimp, Scallps,Clams & Haddock. The Clams, we're so sweet and juicy, not chewy, like most places. The staff was fast and friendly. This is a small local place. The price for this very large portion was $23.00 . It came with fries, onion rings and coleslaw. It was so good I kept picking at it even after it was cold. I went in February 2017. Awesome Place. read more

Ordered a chicken finger dinner a couple of weeks ago and noticed that there was less chicken than usual and the amount of fries/onion rings was about half as much as usual. Just ordered the same thing and got the same amount as a couple of weeks ago. Liberty Bell is known for fast service and large portions. Very disappointed in the quantity change and after the two recent disappointing orders, won't order from them again. I expect the same quality and quantity every time.
