Absolutely unacceptable operation of a business. Purchased a 2024 QX60 less than 3 months ago, 14k mikes. Within the short 3 months, oil light service came on, the brakes , as I was told, were at a one status. Brought in for service because brakes felt unsafe, and the oil indicator light. Dropped it off on 9/27, a week later, still waiting for a part. No communication, try to call for info, put on hold, then disconnected. Not sure how an inspection was passed before the purchase, but it had a new inspection sticker on the vehicle..The list for work done on the 2024 showed all the 128 or whatever point system they have, was extensively completed. The caliper was leaking, rear brake down to a 1...bad decision to try an Infinity, as I traded in a BMW..Going back to a BMW soon.. read more

Worst possible customer service ever. Purchased a 2023 QX80 a month ago from this dealership and it has major issues...transmission, heating system, windshield etc. $83k and after waiting 30-40 minutes multiple times on hold for the service dept I've finally chosen to give up. It's a giant conglomerate so it's my own fault, I shouldn't have expected to be treated as a valued customer. Whatever you do, do not purchase a car here!!!! Go anywhere else, even if you have to travel. My relationship with Lia for the last 27 (!) years has been a pleasure! The staff in the Service Department was the highlight, especially Steve Basile(now running the Parts Dept.) and Lisa DUGAN. It really makes a difference to feel "known" to a service provider when choosing a big company to do business with. Their friendliness and good attitude is apparent when dealing with customers. My car was damaged, I asked to get a GM involved (Jremy). I was shown images of my car going into the garage with this dent and I have no clue how it happened. I asked to see if I can look at other footage from the buildings security cameras. Jremy was adamant that the footage shown was enough. I explained that I wasn't satisfied. Then Jremy started to get defensive and was not listening to my request. He told me that he doesn't drive my car nor does he care that it happened. I said that is very clear. It should not have been an issue. All I wanted to see was other footage. Now there is a hole in the bottom from what I suspect is from a lift arm. Gaslighting is not something that you can do to a customer and be okay... I explained I don't know how it happened. The service plan is a complete scam, do not buy it - seriously they play games on every visit to justify charging you for things like tire rotations, alignments and things you can prove they did or did not do. They told me for two years they were "working" with the parts department to replace it. Now it's so far after the fact the records have been purged- per corporate Infiniti (that I also contacted myself and they put the case on hold due to covid). Not a happy customer. This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had getting my vehicle serviced. Lia Infiniti had my car for a week in Dec but they were backed up and couldn't get to it before Christmas when we needed it. I brought it back after the new year and they have now had it for TWO MONTHS without being able to correctly diagnose or correct the problem. The lack of proactive communication and updates is inexcusable for any business, let alone a supposed luxury car dealership. They had someone out with COVID but no one picked up my case until I called. That person came back and within a week had quit, yet once again, no one reached out with any updates. Finally after learning no progress was made I spoke to the service manager who "promised" I would have it back today, but they did not keep that commitment. Any time I asked about a loaner they didn't have one. (Really, not one loaner available for two months?) Do not buy a car here and certainly do not have one serviced here. I have made two car payments while my SUV sat on their lot as technicians failed at their job and communication was basically non-existent. This is unacceptable and no customer should have to deal with this ineptitude. *Edit: I would like to add my appreciation for the efforts made by Service Manager Jon Hayes. Despite my frustration, he has been empathetic and focused on resolving the situation. Since he took point in communicating with me, the level of customer service has improved. If I give Lia Infinity a chance to keep my future business, it will only be due to his support. read more

I've worked so hard to get to a point to purchase a "nicer" vehicle. I recently purchased a QX50 from Lia Infiniti of Latham and it was the worst experience I have ever had purchasing a car. Let's be honest, it's never fun going to a dealership, but this was an entire different level of poor costumer service. Within the first 3 weeks of owning this car, there were issues with it. I called three times to get on the service departments schedule. Finally - after 3 calls and my mother having to call- they called me back and told me that even though I spent an additional $1500 for the warranty - they couldn't get me a rental car (that comes with my warranty!!). Fortunately, the ONE person in the shop agreed with me that wasn't right as I JUST bought this car and am already having issues with it, went above and beyond to help me get a rental car. Not even a month after that my car was making the same noise, I called and told them I'm supposed to be driving to the city tomorrow for a wedding and needed some assistance, I was told someone will call me right back. Never heard back. A piece of the side of my car unsnapped while driving home yesterday, my moonroof sometimes wont close, the ride is terrible, and no one will call you back from service. They are SO quick to take your money, then once you drive off the lot, you are worthless. I will never return to Lia Infiniti and cannot wait to get rid of this car. read more

Anyway, this sale-man Jeremy gave us many option from used car to new car. He seen to enjoy his job, he does his research, call us/email us pretty often. You can pretty much pick any car for a test drive, even a Porsche... So I gotten says as for their service, its was good. But thing will always get messy when we discuss about the price. My salesperson assured me that everything was rolled in to the monthly cost and that there was nothing additional needed, she moved to China the following day and 2 week's later I received a $5000 bill from Infiniti corporate. From start to finish our salesman Matt Zampella listened to all our questions and took everything we said into consideration. Tim Naccarato is a great sales guy, he is very helpful, smart and efficient. I gave him 5 stars if you want me to rate him alone. But the overall purchasing experience we had with Lia Infiniti Latham was the worst compare with Accura(ask for Jill or Danielle) and other car dealers. When we first walked in, they sent a guy from the back room to assist us, so we told him all our preference with the new car. And when we came back the second time, this guy passed us to Tim without explaining enough details on what features that we really need, we felt like we are so unimportant. But luckily Tim was great, otherwise i definitely will walk out that place. We waited for a while to have the 2016 QX60 got released, the tricky part was the 2015 version has lane keeping, blind spot warning and intelligence cruise control included with their technology package, those are the 3 must to haves for me. And the new 2016 version moved the lane keeping to deluxe package with $6900 adder include other features which we were not told at all. I thought the active trace control in their Driver assist package is the same as lane keeping. So I didn't realize it until i drove my new car out of their shop and kept trying the land keeping feature on my way home, and ask Tim why my car doesn't have that feature. Overall, i wasn't happy with Lia Infiniti, they way they treat their customer is not impressive at all! But if you do like the look of that car and also cheaper price over others, go to see Tim Naccarato! read more

Lia Infiniti knowingly sold us a defective car! We purchased a new Infinity M56x two weeks ago at Lia Infiniti and with only 440 miles, it already had a check engine light come on. We are extremely unhappy having to get a brand new car serviced. We took it to Lia Infinity right away and after waiting several hours with no word, we called and were told it had an electrical sensor code. The part had to be overnighted and it wouldn't be ready until the next day. Later that day (they decided to wait until closing time) they emailed us with a second problem with the cylinders misfiring - with no further explanation or update. Needless to say we do not want this car anymore. With electrical problems two weeks into it, we can only imagine what other problems will come two months or two years down the road. Lia Infinity knowingly sold us a defective car, and they are doing nothing to rectify the situation. I would not recommend this dealer or manufacturer to anyone after the problems we're seeing and the lack of motivation to fix it. read more

Today I picked up my 2017 Q60 and am very happy with the car. But I am exceptionally happy with how well I was treated, especially by my salesperson, Dawn Owens. I have bought (leased) 3 cars from them now, but this was the first time I purchased through Dawn. She's helped me on a previous inquiry where I ended up going elsewhere (to BMW for car feature driven reasons). She was extremely friendly then, and even more so this time around. I'm very satisfied with the negotiation process - I believe they were fair, and in the end I got a great value. Aside from that, we all want to do business with people not only that are trustworthy, but also friendly. And that is why if you're going to buy an Infiniti, you really should talk with Dawn. I do not know her outside of the dealership and have no financial incentive whatsoever to promote her, but she was really great to work with... Last week I purchased a certified pre-owned 2011 G37X [AWD]. I worked with Michael Baker who was very helpful and professional. The car was in a bad shape when I test drove the car [I think the previous owners took very little care]. Before I picked up the car....We went over the car and I pointed out the small chips, small internal leather damage, damaged chrome finish on dash, missing mud guard bolts, a annoying rattle noise [on a bumpy road] etc that needed fixing. The car was delivered in very good condition and to my satisfaction. I also had issues with quality of tires on the car and Lia replaced all the four tires with thread depth that should last 2-3 years. I have been driving it for 2 days now....things look good so far... It is your money, so make sure you do due diligence and point out the defects / cosmetic changes you would like to be fixed [irrespective of the dealer]...I was pleased that Lia took care of the requests I had made. I leased an Infinity G25 in 2011 for 39 months. Now that my lease is up I am expected to pay a $395.00 disposition fee because I'm not going to purchase the vehicle. This was a complete surprise to me as it was never ever mentioned at the time I sat with the salesman signing the many many sheets of paperwork. Of course, I never read the lease contract where it is written. My big mistake because had I known that I would have this fee I would never had leased the vehicle in the first place. Needless to say, I'm not happy. Upon turning the vehicle over the manager replied that everyone is unhappy when they're told about the fee. I don't even see my signature on the piece of paper indicating the fee. I will never do business with them again! read more
