I just moved to Manhattan and needed an apartment for immediate move-in. Jonathan Pineda helped me find an apartment within my budget, in my desired area, and on a tight timeline. He was always responsive and considerate of any preferences or feedback throughout my search. I would gladly work with Jonathan for any apartment searches in the future. Thank you for helping me find my first NYC apartment! read more

Thanks Sonia Hondraki :) It was my first time buying a property in NYC. I had no clue what it was like. Sonia helped me go through the whole process from the very beginning to the end with her great professionality. She made the whole process very simple and easy for me. She was very helpful, patient and professional the whole time. I am and will always be grateful. I would NEVER be able to have my own apartment in Manhattan without her! I have been suggesting Sonja to all my co-workers. You should call Sonia if you're thinking about buying a property. Taner Bozdogan read more

Do not work with them unless you would like to get completely taken advantage of. Don't be fooled - they don't want to help you find an apartment, they're just in it to make a quick buck for doing absolutely nothing. I was guaranteed an apartment, paid over $10,000 in first month/last month/broker fees, signed a lease, and then was pushed to the side for a higher offer (7 days before my lease was supposed to start!). Please do NOT work with these awful people. You're just a paycheck to them, not a client. If you do work with this company, do not work with Diana Romano. She did not disclose any application fees, and was unwilling to take the fees off her very large commission (for doing nothing by the way). I have never had a worse experience with a realtor than I did with Diana. read more

So I ended up not renting an apartment through them, because I found my own through happenstance, but I had to leave a review after having such a great experience. I looked at apartments with NATHALIA, and she was absolutely amazing. Having to pay broker's fees always sucks, but this is a company where I would have actually felt fine doing so, because she was so great. Why Nathalia is awesome: -She respected my budget. When I first started looking, I contacted a broker I previously used from Citi Habitats and a broker from Bohemia, who have an office 2 blocks away from me. I said I had a budget of $2000 per month and preferred an apartment below 145th if possible. Immediately, these 2 brokers started telling me that I needed a higher budget, because this would just be impossible. I sent each of them about 10 links from their company websites of places I liked, and they hemmed and hawed about those buildings. So either they are posting fake listings, or they just want that sweet commission. On the other hand, Nathalia never had a problem with my budget. She even said she could talk a couple of the landlords down on rent, even though her commission would obviously be smaller then. She seemed to actually care about helping me, and not just making herself a buck. -She respected my time. Nathalia understood I worked full-time, so she scheduled 6 apartments to see on a day I had off work and offered to show others after 6 pm. Wayyyy too many agents from Streeteasy and such will message you at 11 am telling you to come see a place at 1 pm and seemed very confused I couldn't just leave work to do so (if any brokers are reading this, please message and explain how you expect us tenants to have relatively high paying jobs, yet expect we can jaunt around the city on a whim for personal matters? I find this fascinating). Nathalia understood real-world time constraints. In addition to this, she's just sweet, funny, and genuinely kind. 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a place in the city! read more

My fiancé and I were anxious about finding an apartment quickly in advance of our lease ending. Lana Tarashvili was recommended to us through a friend, and she instantly put us at ease during our initial call, during which she asked us plenty of specific questions. She did an amazing job running options past us and showing us apartments that met our criteria in a short amount of time - even when we realized, one day into looking, that we wanted to look in a completely different area, Lana jumped to the task and delivered! Only two days into our hunt during the busiest NYC rental season, Lana found us our dream apartment. It wasn't even on Streeteasy yet! She worked directly with the management company to negotiate, and we signed the lease 24 hours later for a beautiful apartment in a gorgeous building. Lana works really hard - we would often get texts from her at night or first thing in the morning (which we appreciated), and we felt like we had her undivided attention during the time that we worked with her. She is a super sweet, hardworking, and honest person, and I recommend her to anyone looking to rent in NYC. read more

My fiancee and had the pleasure of working with Marisol Choi to list our apartment. She is a great agent. We were extremely stressed out with having to close on a house so having Marisol as our agent for our rental was great. She was always communicative throughout the process and was able to rent our apartment faster than we could have hoped for. I highly recommend working with Marisol and LG Fairmont read more

Courtney Koc helped me find my new rental home in Astoria. Courtney is very attentive and looks out for her customer's best interest. She was patient with me and was quickly able to find apartments that meet my budget for showing , she showed me 4 apartments on one visit, of which I chose one on the spot to proceed with paperwork. I am impressed with Courtney's customer focus and genuine eagerness to help and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new home! Omar read more

I give this agency a zero rating. I had the most awful and stressful experience with realtor Diana Romano. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional individual . I don't know if s as lol their agents are like her but I wouldn't want to find out . There are so many realtors out there who really want to help . There is really no reason to chose this agency and I wouldn't . I would not recommend this agency . Do yourself a favor and do your homework . Diana Romano is bad news !! read more

My boyfriend and I used LG Fairmont to help us with our move from Chicago to NYC last month. I was matched with Antonia while looking for apartments on StreetEasy. She right away was responsive and helpful. She was reassuring about helping us move remotely which was nice to hear. Antonia went to apartment viewings for us and would either Facetime or send us videos of the units. After being rejected by a very sketchy mangement company for our first choice which she was very apologetic for (not her fault at all), she did an amazing job at helping us find a great replacement. I highly recommend using Antonia for finding your perfect NYC apartment, especially if you're moving from out of state. She was easy to reach at all times, extremely helpful and informative, and made the NYC apartment hunting process so much easier than I imagined. read more

I worked with Lana Tarashvili recently looking for a new studio. She was super helpful and took me to almost every building that she thinks meets my requirements. She's patient and never pushed me to do anything but instead let me decide on which one to take. Lana has her network of leasing agents and was even able to help me negotiate the rent. I am very satisfied with the overall experience and would definitely recommend her to anyone else. read more

Lana Tarashvili is the best! I highly recommend using her services to help you find a great apartment in Manhattan. Lana Tarashvili is the absolute best broker you can wish for. I've been in New York for 4 years now and I've had my share of bad broker experiences but Lana restored my faith in the power of a good broker. She truly kept my needs at the paramount while helping me and my roommate look for places. She showed us all the best buildings and understood our need to stay in our set budget. She went out of her way to ensure we get the best deal. There are only very few things that have impressed me so much that I write a yelp review. Lana's dedication, knowledge and hardworking nature is one of them. She really came through for us and all while staying upbeat and calm and ensuring we stay that way too. She knows how stressful finding your dream home can be and she really does all in her power to get you that! Thank you, Lana! read more

Neil Zakan charged me and my old roommate a broker fee on an apartment that is strictly no fee and easy to find on craigslist. Turns out this isn't illegal - just a d!ck move. We were wondering why he was so pushy having us sign the "I'll rent this apartment from you" document while the lady hosting the open house looked so confused. Want to pay thousands of dollars for no reason? Go with Neil! read more

LG Fairmont offered me a ~14% broker's refund and in return they wanted me to take down the review below. I felt warning other consumers about our negative experience with this company was more important. "The apartment we signed a lease on was falsely advertised by our broker Aaron White to have a washer/dryer scheduled to be installed by move in. We now moved in and there is no washer dryer and when we asked him about it he said it's not his problem anymore. We increased our price range and accepted other things we didn't like as much because the washer dryer was important to us. $3000 dollars in brokers fees later we were deceived to make the deal based on something that isn't even in the apartment now." read more

I worked with Rachel Freidt, she was an absolute gem! Rachel really listened to the criteria I wanted and kept me up to date during her searches, just so I would know she was still on the hunt for me. I appreciated this because I knew that meant she wasn't just going to show me apartments for the sake of showing me something. The first place, she showed me was perfect and I applied for it straight away. It goes to show you that she did her homework and as a result my time was not wasted. Rachel also was attentive in answering all my questions (and I had many), which helped put my mind at ease. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Thanks, Rachel!! read more

Philip Gomez is by far and away the best broker I've worked with. He's reliable, honest, and most importantly, had my best interests in mind. He found absolutely amazing places in my price range that were tailor made for what I was looking for, not just in an apartment, but in a home. He went out of his way to show me and my roommate places multiple times that accommodate our separate and often conflicting schedules, and was prompt and pro-active in getting us into apartments. If ever I need to find another NYC apartment, he's my first call. read more

I reached out to Zach Lantz to assist me with my apartment search. He responded quickly to my request and I was on the phone with him discussing my criteria within the hour. Afterwards, Zach sent me an email with 5 places that we were to view the next day, I was impressed with how detailed and on-point the previews of the apartments were and felt confident in all the choices provided. The next day, I ended up taking the first apartment we viewed! I couldn't believe I was able to get the price-point, space, location AND have the apartment approved all within 24 hours of my first reaching out to him. I'm stress-free and very happy with the apartment I ended up with! I would (and will continue) to highly suggest him to any and everyone. Thanks Zach! read more

A joke of a company. Do not trust. They post fake photos and apartments on sites like Streeteasy and never get back to you. They have an automated response saying someone will reach out and they never do. If you look at their personal reviews on renting sites theyre all the same theme and from the same month. They obviously posted the reviews themselves. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. read more

I had both Marisol and Brandon help me find my current apartment this year. Honestly, it was such a stressful process but they listened to what I needed and showed me apartments that fit my needs. They were honest and open with me so that I had some realistic expectations but they were also so accommodating - in terms of showing me the apartments during a time frame that worked for me and finding apartments that met my restrictions. It is honestly so hard to work with agents because some of them are unprofessional, unresponsive or totally ignore the restrictions that you give them. I didn't run into any of these problems while working with Marisol and Brandon. And literally in less than 2 weeks, I was able to find and sign an apartment despite my pickiness in what I wanted. They were the absolute best - so attentive and available for any of my questions or concerns. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone! Thank you both Marisol and Brandon for all your help. I couldn't have had a more smooth process finding an apartment in NYC. read more

I've worked with Peter Alley to try and find a property that I really wanted. This fellow really tries to help you in any way he can. He doesn't push you in any direction, he listens and considers what you want. He gives advice naturally, which is what you want, but the bottom line is he's concerned with what YOU'RE looking for, and facilitating that search in any way he can. Even went so far as to refer me to a very reasonably priced Atty. and putting me in touch with a lender who offered a great rate. What else could one ask? read more

L G Fairmont simply goes above and beyond. Leisa and Robin have been an amazing help in our search for a new home. And on top of all this they care about you, your needs and what they are accomplishing, so I feel like in the process I made some new friends. I am so lucky that Lana Tarashvili replied to my online inquiries for an apartment in Manhattan. I was new to the City, and felt a bit overwhelmed with finding a nice place within my budget to call home. As a Manhattan Specialist, Lana was able to quickly guide me to buildings and areas that she thought I would enjoy, but also took the time to show other buildings just so that I could be 100% sure that when I found my apartment, I would never have to wonder if that was really the one for me. We spent 3 days together looking at apartments. She was always on time, friendly, very professional, and had good relationships with building managers and leasing agents. She knew exactly who to call to find an answer to any question. It was a great, pain-free experience for me, which is pretty much the best outcome when looking for an apartment in the city. Highly, highly recommended. read more

Aaron White was our broker. When searching for an apartment, we discussed with him our main objective was to find one with a washer/dryer in-unit. Finally, we found one with a washer/dryer was in-unit. Aaron said it would be installed when we moved in. We paid a premium for this service. He cashed our check immediately, but didn't follow through at all. On our move-in date, the washer dryer was nowhere to be found. When we followed up, he passed the blame to management. The situation has yet to be resolved and it's creative a major headache. False Advertising! read more

I worked with Mary Paige Snell as my broker from LG Fairmont. We closed on my Brooklyn condo (new construction) in November. It took a lot of negotiation and a lot of hand holding and patience, and Ms Snell did an above and beyond job. She not only stayed in my corner, was available and accessible day or night, but she also stayed on top of all the ins and outs of the process. What she wasn't sure of she always did thorough research to find out. Her team at LG Fairmont were also involved at times, to give a wider perspective and support when we needed it. Initially, when I enlisted her as my Broker, Ms. Snell lined up numerous options for me to see. Walked me through a wide variety of neighborhoods and price points to help me identify what I needed, wanted and could afford. I can't say enough about this Agency and their agents. Down to earth. Personal attention. Ms. Snell was almost as happy as I was when everything finally came together and I finally moved in! read more
