Ultraclear laser and Lasercoring with Dr. Shanthala…read more I have been going to Dr. Shanthala for a number of years and less than two weeks ago I had facial treatment with the Ultraclear laser and Lasercoring. I am so thrilled with the results. I did not use any numbing pre-treatment and the recovery process was only a few days. I had to travel to three different conferences the following week after treatment and I was able to present without any issues. Dr. Shanthala is an incredible doctor, and I would get laser treatment with the Ultraclear laser and Lasercoring again. All the treatments Dr. Shanthala offers are amazing. Now, just over one and half weeks out from my initial visit, I couldn't be happier with the results. My skin looks great, and the treatment areas look youthful and natural.

I'd had some troublesome filler under my eyes previously, and she explained the issue I'd had as well as breaking down the proper cannula technique for me. The injection process itself was almost completely painless--the first time I can say that of fillers!--and I'm so pleased with how my face looks. I wasn't the easiest client, either; I'm twitchy and annoying to inject, and my reactive, sensitive skin had an unexpected allergic reaction to the cleanser Michelle used on my face (which she only used so extensively because I came in with foundation on, against their instructions). When I called them the next day for advice on how to manage it, they checked in with me into the weekend to make sure the reaction cleared up. Love them. TL;DR: 10/10

Looking back at old pictures it was crazy I didn't see what they saw. Whatever they recommend just do it, don't even hesitate. I receive compliments on my skin/face all the time and I know it's a combo of the Botox/limited amounts of carefully placed filler, and the SkinBetter products. Really Bad Corporate Policies…read more I am on month 12 of a 12 month laser package (I paid full price, no groupon) and I used 2 of 3 facials in a package. They closed the Dedham location (5 minutes from home) without notice. I did not even get a phone call. I called about my upcoming appointment and was told they were closed, but I could go to a different location. I emailed corporate and asked for 1/12 of the money I paid back on laser and 1/3 back on facial. I thought that was fair. They did not. I was not allowed to "change" my package. (hmmm -seems like they changed it, not me). I gave up arguing with them. Since I only had one more appointment, I drove an hour each way to Cambridge and the clinician seemed to do as little as possible to get me done. If it was my company, I would have done a little more for the clients I was displacing. Honestly, a phone call in advance, some free samples, just a little something to make me feel like I was not being processed. I would NEVER recommend HLC. They don't care.

I'll likely get another package when I finish this one and with all the services they offer I'm slightly concerned I'm going to spend all my extra $$ here ;)
