Had an absolutely great experience! I haven't had my nails done since high school and this was where I used to go, so it's great to still leave a happy customer after all this time! Tracy was absolutely wonderful! I was worried my nails would be rushed since I didn't give them enough time but that was not the case at all! She really took her time and did a wonderful job! Tempted to share photos but it's embarrassing. I have never left where my feet feel worse. The dead skin is dry on my feet still and uncomfortable which is why I visited and received a pedicure. I went there to get my nails done for my wedding and was not satisfied. I got no chip with an acrylic tip just to add a little length. When he finished the first set they were totally see through and not at all like the color I had picked out. I asked for another layer of color and he seemed soo offended, complained about it, and then THREE nail techs were standing over me while he added another layer. The thickness and shape on each finger were not consistent. I was soo close to going to a different salon because these were for my wedding!! But I just didn't have time... I went back a week later to get them removed and was asked way too many times if I wanted anything else done (of course I did not, they did a bad job the first time) and they did a terrible job removing them and rushed through it.. I feel like that was because they weren't getting any other services out of me. Today I still feel a layer of gel or glue or something on my nails. Service is mostly quick, but too quick most of the time. The nail techs are in way to big of a hurry to get you out fast. Burning your skin and nail beds with the dremel. No chip chips constantly causing you to go back for repairs. I will not go back again. Do not ask for Hannah.... Unfortunately I have the luck to receive her as my tech every time I come. She just doesn't do a great job. Barely files the nails, doesn't push cuticles (just taps each toe with the tool). She only massaged the shins of my legs with the lotion (I got the most expensive pedicure) and is all around careless. She just tapped my toes with the buffer instead of actually buffing them. Sorry guys I just can't give this more than a 2. My tech was nice but her ability was just sub-par. I came in for acrylics and even as I type this review hours later my fingers still hurt. The nails are impossibly thick and bulbous. They are bending my natural nail-bed too much causing pain. The dremmel got very hot on my nail-bed and I thought it was going to go through on more than one occasion. Had pedicure and basic manicure. First off. The guy I had didn't say one word to me. Just gave me goofy expressions and taps on the foot. Actual pedicure wasn't bad but the manicure was a joke. By the next day polish on 2 nails peeled completely off. Now, one week later, they have all peeled off. Plus the guy didn't do any of the edges of my fingernails. I think this is one of the best place to go and get your nails done. The place is always clean and the people are really friendly. The ambiance is very nice and relaxing. When you come in, you are always offered something to drink. When it comes to basic that is the problem it is BASIC......and this is any place you go. Despite the good reviews you see, this genuinely isn't the best establishment. I've been here more than a handful of times to give them chances because the first two times I've been here, they did a decent job. That was in 2019. Well I've never had a no chip manicure before and I surely won't ever get one here again-Friday night as a mother, nurse, & nanny I rarely get 5 minutes to myself let alone get my nails done...grandma and grandpa came over to spend time with the little one while my fiancé was out of town on business so I could have two hours to myself Made an appointment and got a pedicure and no chip manicure. Upon getting home I noticed that none of the sides of nails had been painted. It was obvious the nail tech was in a hurry but I didn't say anything I just hoped she would still do a quality job. I tipped 35% on top of it... So, I called asked to speak to a manager the following day-Saturday. I was told she was busy her name was Cindy so I figured yea makes sense Saturday at a nail salon...il call back. Sunday called and they were closed. Called back Tuesday since Monday I was so busy at work I didn't even have time to inhale a few chips for lunch Talked to Cindy and told her I may be able to come in if my fiancé was home before they were closing as she said "oh yes come on in we will definitely fix them" of course he had to work overnight with the rain helping repair electricity all over the place Today-Wednesday. I was able to get back to the area with a free 25 minutes so I called and asked for Cindy she said ok come on in..here comes the good/hilarious part! She looks at my nails like 10 times each hand I suppose while pondering what bs excuse to give me to NOT have to redo them or issue me a refund which I never even asked for simply for them to be fixed. Then says "oh well you can't get close to the skin or the nails will peel off" I'm sorry what?? I've seen a ton of no chip manicures from friends, coworkers, etc and never have I seen one like this with no polish on the sides or up to the cuticle it looked rushed and terrible like I had them done a month ago. Then I said what about here where you can see my plain nail above my cuticle not painted. "Oh that's from them growing" are you kidding me? Do I look ignorant?? My nails did not grow that much in a few days. Not even when I was taking prenatal vitamins did my nails grow that fast... "I can fix one nail, maybe two sit down and wait" By now...I'm far from the good mood I was in. So now I have 10 minutes until I need to be home changing clothes and leaving again. I ask if I can just make an appointment to come back and that as I said when I got there I only had 25 minutes. "Yea but only going to fix two and they will look the same in a few days" then why do all of your technicians guarantee no chip manicures for two weeks or they are fixed for free? "This isn't really chipping" alright listen up here Cindy.. Before I went and made a long and detailed review of the terrible job that was done I wanted to give you a chance to fix it. I have been polite asked to schedule an appointment so it's convenient for you and still you have done nothing but avoid fixing the problem. Il call about that appointment Friday-I have to get to work. I hope nobody else has to go through an experience like this-highly recommend you avoid this place because if you ARE unhappy, which paying customer are allowed to be when work is not done properly or up to standards..believe it or not. I just moved out to Dekalb two months so. I went to vip nails and they messed then up so I went to Lezas. The people were so nice and did exactly what I asked for. They were really cool about my kids being there and did a great job on my nails. I've been back twice and will go every time I need service! While it's a little pricey the people are kind and do exactly what I ask. If I'm in a hurry, they will get me in and out...quicker than any other salon I've been to! Leza's is great! I usually go to a place near my house, but after numerous times of horrible nails, I decided to find a new place. Leza Nail Spa is close to my work, so I called and they told me to come on in. Walk-ins are welcome!! I didnt even have to wait to get my nails done. They had other customers too so im surprised i got in so fast. I was asked if i wanted anything to drink when I was seated which is really nice! The guy I had, Phil, was the nicest guy ever! He was super funny and took his time doing my nails! He made sure I was getting exactly what i wanted and kept asking me if it was good. When he thought things did not look right, he didnt ignore it like some nail techs ive been to, he actually fixed everything until it was perfect!! The salon is open, clean, and nicely decorated, and I felt welcome, even when I walked in without an appointment. The first time I went in for a gel polish manicure, and the second time for a mani-pedi w/ gel nails. Both times the technician that performed the services was friendly and knowledgable (and had a good grasp of the English language!) Everything was great, even the little details like the clean edges around my cuticles, shaping the tips just the way I wanted, and not chiding me too much when I messed up my mani polish before it dried! I'm just not having any luck with salons in this area. Either they're inconsistent with the quality of the service, or just not any good at all. Leza falls under the latter. I tried them three different times. The last time, I got a fungal infection for the first time. I've been going to nail salons since 2010 and they were my first infection. It was gross. Like, I just threw up a little bit in my mouth right now. Needless to say, i won't be going back. If I ever go back to any salon, I will insist they thoroughly was the foot spa in front of me and I want to see CERTIFIABLY STERILIZED instruments before my service. The good: This shop stands out to me in the area because the service is the best I've ever received. They offer you drinks, and make sure you're comfortable and satisfied. I personally recommend Helen or TT for nail services because they're thorough and ask what you prefer. Cindy, the owner, I noticed works very hard to ensure a good environment. The bad: The shop is becoming a bit hectic and disorganized. Not to mention, there a quite a few technicians who do less than satisfactory work, they rush, and get upset when asked to do anything they consider extra work, even though you're paying for the service. i got my first pedicure ever from here in late february and the service its self was nice very accommodating my mani /pedi was pretty good not perfect. The reason i give only one star is because i just recently removed my nail polish from my toes (im lazy and leave it on till i only have like half of my toes painted from growth) AND I HAVE A FUNGUS!!!! my big toenails are seperating from my nail bed and it looks like a white fungus and around the edges in about the middle of my toes its black i have this on a total of 4 nails i filed a report withe the state of illinois DO NOT GO THERE THEY DO NOT SANITIZE WELL read more

My daughter and I get our nails done every two weeks. We have not found a salon that we have fallen in love with so we usually go wherever is convenient that day. However, we have made the trip to DeKalb for the past month because we enjoyed our first experience so much. My daughter gets a gel fill with no chip polish and I usually get a regular manicure or a no chip manicure. Both times we have been happy with our nails. The salon is beautiful and has an upscale appearance. They are on the pricey side for no chip manicures but I am happy to pay more for a quality job and clean salon. read more
