Brought my kid's car in after it had shut down while she was on the highway. Had to communicate the information from the teenagers present that night and from what I saw. I was ready for expensive engine repairs, but instead I got an oil change, radiator flush and fill for now. They found a missing resonator and some typical high mileage repairs, which I need to schedule. They knew I was prepared for some catastrophic engine diagnosis, which turned out not to be the case. They put up with my complete shock and confusion during diagnosis and gave me plenty of their time to talk it all out, seriously, I wouldn't shut up. They were so patient and kind about it the whole way. Seriously dope people over there. I trust them all day. I thought about making this review for a few weeks, family owned business and not in the business to hurt locals; however, I really feel that I need to warn the consumer abouts what we went thru . Took one of our vehicles in and had to return 5 times back and fourth over a months time. They would say and charge FIXED! We would drive away within a day same problems . Said we needed a gasket on valve cover, misdiagnosed completely . A attempt to fix power steering over and over again. Left after so many trips back and fourth with our car in worst shape then before .And charged over 2000 dollars ! Came in for an oil change and left with new door dings and scratches. I was told that this shop was an honest shop who took care of their customers, never lied about anything, were detail oriented etc. In the past 6 years of living here, every single shop I have ever been to has either damaged my vehicle, lied to me, wasted my time or screwed me over one way or another financially. I verbally expressed that to the owner when dropping off my keys. Said I was here because I need a new shop and was told this was it for many reasons. Kinda like a "hey please do a good job and I'll keep coming back wink wink". Nope, apparently that conversation didn't matter. The owner stated that everything was good to go and "fluids that needed to be topped off were taken care of". I guess the windshield washing fluid doesn't count though....since my reservoir is bone dry. Also my battery tie down/clamp was completely loose. 100% not even secured just balancing on top of the battery and it was tight a few days ago when I checked my oil. They claim they didn't touch that but I'm just surprised that they didn't notice it at all, took me 1 second to realize something was wrong when I popped the hood. The main issue here is my driver door was hit on the blue steel pole that is on the lift inside of the garage. I came back 20 mins later to bring it up and she admitted that it was her who did it when she pulled the truck out of the garage. Basically hit my door on the pole hard enough to transfer blue paint from the pole onto my black door and chipped paint off along with some scratches that will hopefully buff out on my dime one day....the paint chips that still have blue in them don't look like they'll buff out though. She made an excuse on how tight of a squeeze it was and said sorry. Never offered to refund the oil change or cover the cost of the damages or even offer to pay a detailer to try and fix it nothing. Not even a discount and I shouldn't have to ask for one after you admitted to the damages. How can you say you're an honest shop if you smash my door on your lift and don't say anything until I bring it up. And then never offer anything for the trouble. An honest shop would have told me when handing my keys back "hey I accidentally hit your door on the lift, we're going to do x,y,z to take care of you because we value your business" or whatever. You would think if you're getting in/out of someone else's vehicle in close proximity to a pole multiple times a day because it's part of your job, you'd mentally just lock in for 5 seconds to make sure you don't hit it. If you do, make it right. Especially as the owner. So yeah from my one single visit here, it's just like every other shop out there who just wants to take your money and don't care about how they treat your vehicle. I'm really tired of paying professionals to do an unprofessional job. Definitely won't be coming back and the hunt for an actual solid maintenance shop continues but I'm starting to think they don't exist in this city. read more

Might be a long review but hopefully its valuable information for others. I first emailed Lextech on 9/15/2023 and received a reply a few days later. I followed up again but didn't receive another reply until 11/7/2023. I wanted to give this place a chance since someone recommended me here and they supposedly do good work. Should've trusted my gut and turned away but I didn't. Nicki was emailing me and I had a few questions on parts, labor, and if they could provide parts. I asked about a tune up (sparks plugs, timing belt, valve cover gaskets, water pump, etc). I was given the price of $850 to replace what I asked for. I had an issue with my brake lights. Lights would stay on and they said they'd look at it. Lastly, I had a code for an evap leak. We set up an appointment on Wednesday, 11/29/2023. This visit was to check my code and issue with my brake lights. I did have a few questions regarding my vehicle as well. I come in and check in with Nicki. Hands me a paper to sign, takes my keys, and after I'm done with the paperwork she brings my car into the shop. I wasn't asked any questions regarding my car. I get that customers aren't allowed in the shop due to insurance and safety reasons but Nicki or anyone did not bother to check up on me throughout the entire time. My car was in their shop for 4 1/2 hours. Nicki only came to the office a couple times but that was to help with other customers. I had questions still needed to be answered but no help was given. After waiting, I asked about what they found and if they fixed any of the small issues I asked about. Nicki informed me that her techs didn't look at the brake light issue. I guess they forgot? Even though she mentioned that they'd look at it. I was charged a $90 fee for an inspection/smoke test. I understand this charge but after reviewing the receipt they had a different price for the tune up. I was quoted $850 at first but the receipt they handed me said otherwise. Nicki was telling me things like I didn't know how a car should run. Only reason why I decided to bring a car here was because I don't have time to work on my car myself. I basically work 6-7 days a week and I rather bring it to a shop that specializes in Lexus. Caught me off guard that I was being spoken to like a child. The only reason why I'm writing this review now because I found some things that were interesting. I was working underneath my car to find my evap canister and I found a pair of pliers pinching a line. A new code popped up after I brought the car to LexTech but never found out the issue. Filling up the car with gas took forever because it wouldn't pump normally. Since I took off the pair of pliers, my car has been running normal again. To Nicki and her technicians, I get that you want to provide quality work and service but don't do that shit again or to anyone else spending their money. You guys lied about the initial quote and decided to mess with my car, hoping I would come back. You guys did not help with anything at all. Do what ever you want this information. I'm surprised how little reviews this company gets, and I honestly believe that they should be getting more! They are an awesome shop to get your repairs done if you own a Lexus vehicle. We brought in our 2007 is350 into this shop to get the spark plugs changed. They not only were able to do quality work when doing the spark plugs, but to my surprise they also did a headlight restoration that I put off for sometime at no charge. My head lights were hazed out, and it was an obvious hazard. When a shop does little things like a courtesy headlight restoration, you know that they are there to serve your best interest as a customer to ensure that you are safe on the road. Lextech is now my forever mechanic shop! My old Lexus RX350 SUV needed the back hatch door fixed because it wouldn't stay lifted. I had called a few other car repair places (including the dealership), but they wanted to also charge me a diagnostic, which I thought was unnecessary. Lextech's Nikki and Steve confirmed to me that my car just needed the lift rods replaced, and I'm so grateful for their integrity and expertise. I don't live in the Henderson area, but this kind of honesty and quality work are worth the long drive over! After that first positive experience, I brought my car back for the 90K maintenance, and no major issues other than noting that my worn down tires wouldn't last much longer. Unfortunately, they don't install new tires or perform wheel alignments, so I had to go elsewhere to get all that done. The Discount Tire shop I went to put in the new tires properly, but set the air pressure much higher than what's recommended in my car manual. The alignment place did a good job aligning the wheels, but their complimentary visual inspection conveniently found "leaking" of my car's rear shock absorbers, which of course, would be an expensive fix. I had already paid a lot for my new tires and couldn't afford another major repair bill. I scheduled an appointment again with Lextech to have the tires' psi and the supposedly leaky shocks rechecked. Nikki and Steve made sure my tires had the appropriate air pressure, and I felt greatly relieved when they informed me that there was no leak. I was willing to pay for what probably took them less than 10 minutes of their time to re-examine my vehicle, but Nikki was so kind to not charge me! I don't know much about cars, but I do know that there are many shady businesses out there that will take advantage of the ignorant. Lextech has proven to me that they genuinely care about their reputation and their customers. They will help take care of your car problems the right way and save you money too! Although they're Lexus and Toyota specialists, they can service other Asian auto brands. The only minor improvement I would suggest is maybe having a front counter buzzer in case they're both working in the garage so they know that a customer has walked in or a customer is waiting and needs to ask questions. read more

I took my 2003 is300 here for the timing belt/water pump service. I am very happy with the results. The price was way better than the dealership. The guy who owns the shop did the work. When I picked the car up he went over everything he did. Showed me the old and new parts that were installed. It's hard to find quality work and good prices these days but this place definitely has both. Our first experience with Lextech yesterday. We'd been taking our 2010 RX350 to several other places over the years but when one, Sun Auto, had told us TWICE over the last year that we HAD to replace BOTH front control arms due to excessive wear (+/- $2,600!) .... we shopped around. Found Steve and Nikki at Lextech through other reviews. Over the phone they indicated it would be approximately $1,800 if both were worn. Took it in yesterday and Nikki called us back in less than a few hours and said we were no where near having to replace them! Picked up the car this am... Steve had rotated the tires and found the spare had zero pressure! The bill? $65. JUST WOW! I don't do many reviews but these two are just amazing! ... and wonderful dog people. First off I will say this is my go to place to get my Toyota fixed even though it is literally across town from where I live. The prices are great and Steve and Ganina tell you exactly what needs to be done. I have been coming here for almost three years now and they have never steered me wrong. They use factory parts for my car and get everything taken care of in a timely manner. Recently I went in to get an oil change, transmission fluid change, and my belts done. I spent approximately 3 hours total to get everything done and they were great to go over the car to make sure there was nothing else detrimental to the car that needed to be done at that moment. Sometimes I do get their machine when calling to make an appointment, but they get back to me quickly and set up times that work with my hecktic schedule. Are used to take our vehicles to the Lexus dealership but have had a couple of bad run-ins with their service department. A friend of mine told me about Lex Tech and I started taking my vehicles there because the owner used to work for Lexus and started his own business business and he is legit. His wife runs the front desk and she is really great to work with also.
