I was having a rattling noise coming from the front end of the undercarriage of my car. After 2 hours they told me the oil pan shroud was loose because of a cross-threaded bolt. The counter lady told me if I was still hearing this noise to bring it back. As soon as I drove out of their parking lot I heard the same noise. I called the shop and the same counter lady told me to bring it back in. Ask me when I could. I told her the following day So the following day I go back and a Hispanic man, I assume the owner was working the desk. I explained I was returning for the same problem as the day before. He said they didn't work on anything other than brakes, etc. I then ask why they ask me to return if that was the case. He fumbled with his words and then said they didn't charge me the day before. As to imply they were doing me a favor. I told him I offered to pay for their time, but the counter lady told me that was okay... I ask why they didn't work on that type of problem if they asked me to come back. Again he fumbled his words and slid my car keys back to me on the desk. And said he couldn't do anything for me. I then told him I would write this review and reflect on his unprofessional attitude. He seemed not to care! Steer clear of this pace! They are deceptively nice! But some Shenanigans are going on here. It's too bad because they came highly recommended. The business owner ruined his good reputation with me in a matter of a few minutes.

They take a week in a half to do it and really only felt like they started it the day they said I could pick it up because once they "finished" it and told me to come get it there was another problem that they would have to keep for the weekend. They ended up fixing that for free. The light turns on again 4 days later on the same tank of gas I got it back in so I bring it back and the very nice kid working told me they brought it to the other shop that does teslas and other modifications. He was confused about why German Motors themselves didn't do it. So he clears it and says it will be free if it turns back on. About 3 days later it turns on again and I bring it back the next day. This time they finally take my insurance for a loaner car. And then they send me another estimate of 2k worth of different stuff not related to the first problem. They brought it somewhere where it shouldn't have been worked on and are now making me pay for there mistakes.

Other than the fact that I was able to get an…read moreestimate quickly and back to work, I am pretty sure some of the adjuster etiquette was not quite right. I basically walked out to my car with him and he just looked at me the entire time. I show him the car and he was like "This is it?" I told him that it was involved in rear ended collision and usually, most adjusters will keep it open and objective. They will not look to the owner of the car to come to a conclusion. He then told me, "I am just being respectful, but I do not think we can find another bumper. I do not see anything." I ended up getting the estimate and it was sent to the insurance company that had this autobody as one of their "preferred" body shops. Weeks went by and nothing was ever made of the claim. I decided to close it because I was worried, after my own research, that any additional estimates might total my vehicle. My vehicle is very old by year. Going back to the experience, it was just odd. Please retrain the red head to be objective about first estimates. Do not look at the client for answers, when walking out to the car. Be objective, be open, not "Oh, I do not see much and I looked under the back end of the car, but I see nothing." No, I barely some this individual get under the car to look. The process is to give a good initial estimate and then regardless of whether or not there needs to be a supplement completed, that is between them and the insurance company. The experience was just demoralizing. I ended up getting a second consultation by Cockrell's and Nate was amazing. I remember him being more objective the last time I went to him and he told me that I need to be careful if I get supplement estimates completed as it could total the vehicle and if the vehicle is drivable, to just use it as is. There comes a time when a vehicle gets to the point where repairing it aesthetically becomes second priority over the value of actually being able to use the vehicle.
