I drive a Toyota Prius with 210,000 miles on it. For almost the entire time we've owned this car,…read moreI've taken it to dealerships to have it serviced because I didn't think non-Toyota-employed mechanics would have the necessary expertise to fix this technologically complex car. Turns out - at least when it comes to Twisted Wrench - I was completely wrong! When the dealership charged me an arm and a leg to replace the wrong wheel bearing and then wanted to charge me the other arm and leg to change the right one, I gave Twisted Wrench a try out of desperation. I don't remember exactly what the difference was, but I'm pretty sure they charged me about half of what the dealership made me pay. Since then they have changed my spark plugs (which is obnoxiously difficult in Priuses - they are kinda buried under the windshield wipers), done a couple of oil changes, rotated my tires, and now they are going to fix an oil leak for us. Everything has been done in a far more timely manner than the dealerships and for extremely reasonable prices. I mean - really - I feel guilty that they don't charge me more. Take your car to Twisted Wrench! You won't be sorry!

I want to write about how, after 2 1/2 years and 6 mechanics later, B&W Automotive Repair, located…read moreat 228 Gold Rush Road, Lexington, KY, was finally able to solve the problem with my older 2003 Chevy Astro Van. The Mass Air Flow Code had been on since I bought the van 2 1/2 years ago. After countless visits and numerous parts replacements by other auto repair shops, the team at B&W Automotive Repair meticulously diagnosed the issue, discovering a wiring problem with the mass air flow sensor that had eluded previous mechanics. B&W's persistence not only restored my van's performance but also gave me newfound confidence in its reliability. Now, I can finally enjoy driving and road-tripping without worrying about it unexpectedly breaking down. Thanks to B&W Automotive Repair, my Chevy Astro Van runs smoother than ever, and I feel grateful for their expertise and dedication. And above all, they charged a reasonable price to find the problem. Thanks Angie Clemons
