I've taken my Porsche there twice. I now have no confidence in their knowledge or ability to work on Porsches. Promises made aren't kept. You would expect a different approach here than at a Ford repair facility but this isn't the case. I believe their service writer came from a used car lot. Not at all professional. His tone is condescending and he has little to no actual mechanical knowledge. When pressed, he can't answer even reasonably technical questions. This isn't a luxury brand facility. They told me that they can repair my sunroof. I also asked them to check the transmission fluid level since they had done the recent service on it and asked them to scan my car for any codes. They kept my Porsche for 3 weeks. They didn't fix my car's sunroof. They failed to check the transmission fluid level. They didn't scan for any codes. They chipped my driver's side rear door edge. And, they broke my sunglasses compartment. I should have listened to my PCA members. Lesson learned. The only positive is that they didn't charge me. NOT recommended... read more

Called about My GL450 With a stutter while driving. I was told on the phone that it could be a number of things, from bad axles to transmission problems, to plugs. Made an appointment for Friday and drove 3 hrs. the night Pryer and stayed overnight. Got up early the next morning and had the car there when they opened. Should have known better and followed my gut when I got out of the car and the explicit rap music was playing the song Molly. Left my car and 3 hrs. later they called and said that they were changing the plugs because they were pretty sure that's what the problem was and gave me a price of $1300.00 to change oil and replace the plugs. called back at 2:30 to check they told me it would be ready at 4.I was there at 4 and it was still on the rack. They took it for a test drive and came back and said it was still stuttering. And it needed 2 coils. Changed the coils and took it back out and came back and said it need two more. By this time, it was quit time to quit. one mechanic left the other mechanic with a fist bump and went home. My car still had the same problem as when I arrived. Paid my bill now the price was $1400.00. Now this is where it gets better. On the way home my car started over heating and left me stranded on the highway. After getting it to the mechanic he discovered the problem. The connector on the turbo cooler had been broken off and instead of fixing it they just slipped the hose on it hoping it would last well it didn't and it has cost me $635.00 for repair. It became so hot that it destroyed the Radiator. There is not any excuse to treat someone this way I would have been a little upset but would have agreed to stay until the next day to get the parts if I needed to. I don't blame the mechanics I blame the owner operator for being negligent and hiring unethical and unqualified people read more

I took my BMW to Stuttgart last year, and the problem was identified and fixed without any issues. I had previously taken the car to another shop where it set for two weeks, which they couldn't find the issues or repair anything, so I am grateful for Stuttgart for making it as painless as possible! Many things wrong with this place and I've been there many times their big thing is that if you don't know the issue and what parts that need to be fixed they never fix the problem they'll place in a item and the car will be unaffected and so you're charge a shit load of money Next thing is I got my car back and my gas was completely drained and I gave them it with a quarter tank and for oil leaks omg go somewhere else 3 times and they didn't find it and on top of that they said they cleaned the engine everytime and it never was I honestly feel robbed and disrespected read more

These guys seriously went above and beyond to try to get me back on the road. I lost my transmission on the way from Virginia to Colorado. Everything is electronically controlled, and they kept at it, and reloaded the software, I don't even know how many times. I'm still trying to decide if it was worth $900 plus for what I had asked them to do which two of the most important things they did not fix. It was not a big list; mostly maintenance like fixing chipped paint, fix a small dent, replace windshield cleaner bottle and getting my convertible top fixed. They kept my car 3 weeks. After I brought it home and checked it over the chips had been touched up but the dent was still there and my top did not work. I took it back a second time and told them about the top and the dent. They kept it another week and then called me and said they couldn't fix the top. They told me to take it somewhere else. When I asked about the dent the gentleman just shrugged his shoulders. No adjustment on my bill of $900 plus. This was my first dealing with this kind of thing since my husband became an disabled so i wasn't sure how to handle this. What originally started out as a great customer service experience on the phone quickly changed in person. We called a week ago and asked for a quote on Engine/Motor mount replacements on a GLK350. They told us 925 and to come a week later at 7:30am. We live in Richmond, woke up early before work and drove all the way to there to arrive at 7:32AM. Ended up waiting for 15 minutes because they weren't there which made us late to work. Asked us what the quoted amount was even though we had an appointment and then said ok. Just as we were about to pull into our driveway back in Richmond and they called and said they misquoted because they didn't ask if it was a Rear wheel drive or 4matic. The price went from 925 to over 1200 dollars. Instead of honoring their price and accepting it was their mistake they just up charged us anyways. We budgeted for this amount and not the 1200. More over that I didn't like that they weren't stand up enough to honor their mistake, that is what bugs me more than anything. We canceled the repair and we are getting our car this afternoon. We have 4 Mercedes and a Volvo that we were planning on regularly servicing there but now I can say we probably wont be going back. read more

I have taken two cars there. It's under new ownership. Had some problems with one vehicle getting worked on at all. Took the parts and they had it for a half a year. Except for one week. When i got it back for that week it leaked oil that should have been fixed as that's why i took it there and they forgot to put pieces back on it. When i got it back the second time parking lights stay on and it was full of water in a floorboard and the battery was not charged. Also the keyless entry key doesn't work don't know if they discharged the battery or not. The air conditioner has not been recharged either. Looks like a mouse has been in the vehicle also. Probably becasue they had the doors open or something. The other car he worked on just to change some transmission fluid. It was ok and didn't take long. That is assuming they actually changed it as all these other problems. I probably won't go back there if the better business bureau wants me to i think they should pay someone else to repair it. Who knows what they will do. However i think this is just cause they were working on my other car. Not good. Good luck if you go at all. Probably matters as to what kinda car who knows. Also don't tell him motors are cheaper to rebuild if they have high mileage when they are out of the vehicle. He don't like high mileage numbers. read more
