They sold us an rv with a broken frame. They prided themselves on selling rvs at lower prices so people collect afford them. Buyer beware.

Well, they always had an interesting campers and other stuff & like times changed They opened the McDonough ,Ga location and have been holding their own with displaying their brand right out front on a hill! And have been there for years now ,I have noticed that they do have a variety of campers from and 1-2 person pull behind to medium to large& Fifth wheel units & drivable Rv's ! I haven't really had any experience anything with them , but I have been repairing bodywork on Rv's and motorhome for years & long enough to tell you if they been in business since I been repairing them from 1996 , they were opened before I started, so they must' be doing something right! Check them out!

This is my second review of Southern RV as this is my second time purchasing from them. The first…read moretime I purchased 2yrs ago was a 5 star experience. This time was more of a 2.5. Heather McDonald (with the assistance of Nick), was great! Heather was patient, very personable, and definitely the one to go to for your RV needs. She was there every step of the way and helped as much as she could when things started to go wrong. The issues began after delivery of our RV. We were told during the walk through that everything was checked (plumbing, electrical, slides, etc). They were not. We were told our RV was being cleaned prior to delivery. It was not. The RV arrived dirty (interior) and we have have had plumbing issue after plumbing issue. Instead of Jason actually coming to fixing the problems (we have a destination trailer and informed Southern RV that once it was delivered, we could not move it), he continues to "guide" and "direct" US to fix the problems. All of which would have been avoided if our RV was truly checked prior to us receiving it. We are extremely frustrated with how everything has been handled with regards to honest business practices, customer service, and follow through.

The title had a different year than the contract and it was unwarrantable. We contacted the bank who did an investigation. the bank refunded us what we paid them but said we would have to get our down payment and storage fees back from TC. It isn't surprising they folded. I just found out that Camping World purchased TC. who knows if the bank debt ever got settled but certainly the debt to me did not and I still haven't registered the vehicle. It has been almost 2 years.

Lien insurance provided by Tri County Insurance. National Auto Care of the South Insurance company canceled insurance , said they received the paper work but no check, so no warranty. Truist bank said they were not responsible for cutting a check. Camping World bought TravelCamp, after talking to them , they say their company is not responsible. So I'm another victim of the new world way of business! Looks like someone should be responsible for a purchased service that is written in a contract! Since the only option of a review is positive I can not recommend even a one! Looks like they should be a good scam layer willing to jump on this wagon and ride it to the rainbow! It's a layer run world these days, scam layers should be a wide open never ending field of work.
