I wasn't convinced and called the folks at Herald's. Instead of trying to sell us anything, they put a repairman, Curtis, on the phone. After what I told him about the refrigerator, he diagnosed it and told me he'd order the part and have it installed in a couple of days. Their service, kindness, and professionalism was impeccable. The refrigerator is humming along for about 7% of what I would have paid for a new refrigerator. If you live in the Mount Vernon, Ohio and surrounding area, and you need a repairman, or a second opinion, come to Herald's. They'll treat you right.

If you are interested in buying what they sell, please give this young couple a chance to sell and service it for you. The good staff will mainly stay the same and will share his goals. We wish T. The sales representative was so helpful. He taught me how to use a ceramic top cover. I am used to a coil top range. 60+ years old, and i am still learning! The delivery guys were here 20 minutes early. The process of the removal of the old stove to the installation of the new one was flawless. They took the time to get it perfectly level! They even went over the different settings. If you need a new appliance, please give Frank Sales in Bowling Green, Ohio, a look. It's MUCH better than any box store. Personal service!

He did not find it a problem. However, he wanted to confirm whether it could be hooked up that way. An older blond lady with glasses said it could not be hooked up to the kitchen sink. It was not a portable washer, and therefore was not possible. She kept arguing this fact and kept persisting. I explained that I had previous hooked up a washer to another lady's sink at the ivywood apartments. I sent had to hook up my own washer as well. You can see the order for me to hook up my washer on the bill of sale. Neither the person at ivywood apartments, nor myself had any sort of problems with the washer. One last thing, the washer actually has a "cold tap " setting on it. You can see that in a picture posted.

I have had positive experiences with Sales people here who appear to work on commission, where they engage to help if needed but then back away to give space to the customer to comfortable shop. I moved to NW Ohio in 2018. Shortly after, I called the Appliance Center and their technician came…read moreand changed the compressor on my fridge. I was happy with that service. In 2021, I remodeled my kitchen and bought my kitchen from their Maumee location. This time, they kept changing delivery dates and caused long delays in my project. I was mad but tried to be understanding given the pandemic. In 2025, the touch panel of the microwave oven they had sold me stopped working. I called them and explained the problem. They sent out a technician whose diagnosis after two minutes was (and I quote directly) "Touch panel failure". Duh! He then spent about 10 minutes on his computer and told us the part was not showing available and that we had to get a new unit. He did not take the microwave oven out of the cabinet, did not check whether the power was plugged in, did not open the back plate and look inside. He did nothing but try to use the touch panel. They he charged us $128.22 and left. Since I was busy at the time and had the old microwave that I could use temporarily, I postponed fixing the issue. Last week, I removed the microwave from the cabinet, opened the backplate and (after reviewing the user manual and watching a bunch of DYI videos on YouTube) figured that the internal fuse was blown. So I called GE parts hotline and ordered a new fused directly from the brand. After replacing the blown fuse, the touch panel lit up and the microwave oven started working. What bothered me was the fact that the technician had no interest in finding the cause of the touch panel failure and moved too quickly to advising us to order a new oven through them. Having fixed the problem myself, I called them up and asked to speak to the service department manager. I tried to explain everything chronologically but the manager was impatient, cut me off multiple times, and defended the technician's actions. He basically shut me down. I called a second time yesterday, hoping to talk to someone who cares about the Appliance Center's image, like the owners of the business. I was again routed to the service department manager, who repeated his earlier response. Not only the technician didn't do their job right for the price we were charged, but the manager was indifferent and uninterested in the experience that I, as a loyal customer, was trying to share with them. They lost me as a customer forever. I hope those reading my review will exercise caution when calling the Appliance Center for repair services.

Can't wait to watch them close doors for good like abc warehouse. They sold us a washer and dryer set. The dryer works fine, but the wash machine has given issues since day one. We called them for their "service call". Where they sent their tech, who came and "fixed it" after doing just a factory reset claiming that it fixed all the issues . Day after, I attempted to wash a load with the same issues of it not running water in the soap drawer leaving bleach un-useable and fabric softners unuseable . Along with the faulty soap drawer, we have had issues , with the towels cycle, delicate cycle, and tub wash cycle. All giving us the same issues and giving us an error code. Which their old tech can't do anything to fix because obviously hasn't been schooled in this new technology with washers. They only have 1 tech , who is useless to the situation aside from blaming it on "the amount of soap put in", if thats really the case whats the point of the max line in which has never been poured above. So unless your okay buying something that may or may not work properly. Aswell as their "repair" service which is a complete scam which doesnt fix the problem. Make it your call to shop else where.

During the first service call, the repair people somehow cracked the inside of the fridge. I was told there is no way to fix the damage. I cannot begin to report that Durochers had the best salespeople and delivery workers I have ever seen in the appliance business. For starters, saleswoman Kathy C. went out of her way to help me with scheduling my most recent delivery. Even on her day off, she kindly helped me with some questions I asked her about. The delivery and installation men were Superlative. I had the best experience with Justin and Stephen. They were very prompt and gave me updates on when they would arrive, complete with texted maps of where they were in terms of getting to my house. Their installation was very well done, and I contribute that to the attention to detail they had in doing it. They was extremely courteous and respectful. I give Durochers great credit for having delivery and service people like these two young men. Outstanding! I have always been pleased with the appliances, service and delivery at Durochers. In addition when I needed a broken refrigerator shelf replaced the service department was excellent. I actually received the shelf a day after I ordered it. I was also given information on how to get reimbursed by the glass company as the shelf was still under warranty. ( I want to add that I had a $500 gift certificate from Lowes that I could have used, but preferred to deal with Durochers instead. By dealing with them I avoided the aggravation and hassles in dealing with a big box store that I felt could care less about its' customers).
