I wasn't convinced and called the folks at Herald's. Instead of trying to sell us anything, they put a repairman, Curtis, on the phone. After what I told him about the refrigerator, he diagnosed it and told me he'd order the part and have it installed in a couple of days. Their service, kindness, and professionalism was impeccable. The refrigerator is humming along for about 7% of what I would have paid for a new refrigerator. If you live in the Mount Vernon, Ohio and surrounding area, and you need a repairman, or a second opinion, come to Herald's. They'll treat you right.

The sales representative was so helpful. He taught me how to use a ceramic top cover. I am used to a coil top range. 60+ years old, and i am still learning! The delivery guys were here 20 minutes early. The process of the removal of the old stove to the installation of the new one was flawless. They took the time to get it perfectly level! They even went over the different settings. If you need a new appliance, please give Frank Sales in Bowling Green, Ohio, a look. It's MUCH better than any box store. Personal service!

He did not find it a problem. However, he wanted to confirm whether it could be hooked up that way. An older blond lady with glasses said it could not be hooked up to the kitchen sink. It was not a portable washer, and therefore was not possible. She kept arguing this fact and kept persisting. I explained that I had previous hooked up a washer to another lady's sink at the ivywood apartments. I sent had to hook up my own washer as well. You can see the order for me to hook up my washer on the bill of sale. Neither the person at ivywood apartments, nor myself had any sort of problems with the washer. One last thing, the washer actually has a "cold tap " setting on it. You can see that in a picture posted.

More days later that they sent a repair tech with an attitude. He dragged mud & water all over our foyer wood floor & kitchen tiles from his shoes. Without checking anything, he began to berate my wife which I overheard in the next room. He wanted her to get a piece of long wood to place behind the wall and fridge as a solution. The fridge has adjustable feet. I checked the tile floor in all directions and everything was level. He then told both of us, "This is how this is going to go." I then told him "This is the way it's going to go!" I told him to get out of our house after being abusive to both of use. We called AC to let them know what just happened & request another service tech. They refused. We noticed the fridge was not cooling below 40. I adjusted temp to the lowest setting of 33/freezer 0. Still could not get it below 40. We paid an additional $209 for 5 yr warranty from AC. DO NOT believe you will get this $$$ back if you don't use it. They lied several years ago for one we bought. They made an excuse they had changed insurance companies and could no longer honor being refunded. AC Mgr Mike Kelly called and got nasty with me and stated they would not replace nor send someone out to fix these two problems. He told me to get a lawyer. Nice. Steer clear of this place. Look at their reviews. Update: It's unfortunate that this business wastes so much time to lie and make excuses instead of spending a few minutes taking care of customers. I'm sorry your incompetent tech did not have time to put a 2x4 behind the fridge as a fix like he insisted on, without even looking at the problem. Please state what your tech was going to do about the problem. All during his stay he would not even look at the two different length levels we tried to get him to use. What expert tool did he use to determine that a piece of wood needed to be placed behind the fridge and wall? NOTHING. How did he check the floor for being level? He didn't. We did and tried to show him the floor was perfectly level. He did NOTHING but berate my wife and spew nonsense. As a retired IT Manager of 33 years, I have a lot of technical background and can tell when I am talking to an uneducated person who blows BS. You sent three people out and all could not even correct this defective fridge. Three "experts" from your company. Have your expert techs read the manual or watched a YouTube video concerning adjusting fridge doors. There is no mention regarding sticking a piece of wood anywhere. No mention of wood at the Manufacturers website. If this tech is the best your company can do, I can see why you have a 1.8 rating on YELP. Fact. I would suggest next time your expert and probably not-certified tech look around for cameras. They are everywhere today. And cameras don't lie like you do. Sorry if your adult tech got butt hurt from getting words thrown back at him as he did first. If you check under Freedom of Speech, a property owner determines what speech rules on their property and has the right to kick anyone out that they deem necessary. I was not going to allow him to trash talk to my wife and treat her with disrespect. I guess this is something your business condones. As a woman, you should be concerned - or not. It's very sad, you as a Manager, are so blind to customer complaints and believe your techs can do no wrong. You are a very poor Manager. You get zero stars. Oh NO! New UPDATE! HOW EMBARRASSING! Frigidaire sent out Dave Smith Appl Serv to take a look at this fridge since AC couldn't handle the problem. He discovered the problem quickly. The back wheel assembles and rear side panels are bowed/damaged from being dropped. I guess the 3 techs sent out by AC aren't as great as their Manager states they are. Frigidaire is replacing the whole unit! OMG! Say it isn't so Appliance Center! You and your staff failed miserably in customer support and technical service. I'm positive you will deny everything instead of doing the right thing and calling me and apologizing how rude three Managers and three techs treated my wife and myself. I bet you are reaching for the phone right now dialing my number. NOT! Keep believing you are great and make no mistakes. You own this. Now act like a responsible business owner and admit it. Clearly, Dave Smith Appliance Service knows what they are doing. Send your guys over to be trained on tech service and customer service. And FYI - You owe me a refund for your lousy extended warranty since the serial numbers won't transfer. Let me know when you will sending me a check. No charge for the education.

When my five-year-old GE washer malfunctioned that was purchased big box, I promptly contacted the company for repair - was given weeks out on an appointment. I was grocery shopping in Port Clinton, saw this nice looking small town business and turned around to check it out. I received a prompt service call. The owner gave an honest response personally inspection /tear down the appliance and discussed the repair costs without any attempts at upselling. After careful cost vs equipment age consideration, I decided to purchase a different appliance and visited the Frank showroom in Port Clinton. Nice stock and they can source pretty much anything else. I did take a bit of an upsell to a much nicer machine asimpressed with the quality of the appliance and the matching dryer. The negotiation process was seamless, and I was able to secure a competitive price. I still have them today. Since then, we have expanded our purchases to include a stove, refrigerator, freezer, garage refrigerator, dishwasher, and television. Each of these items was purchased with negotiation, to match or come close to the prices offered by large retailers. The delivery process is straightforward, as all appliances are set up, tested, and functioning properly by Frank Sales before they are delivered. In addition to our appliance purchases, we have also benefited from affordable repairs on some of our older appliances. One memorable experience involved a new stove with a different location plug that had to be moved. Frank Sales was able to diagnose the problem and reposition the plug / wiring within the drywall. If I did the bib box store drop, this would have been a task that would require another professional to come out to install due to my zero home repair expertise. The staff at Frank's Appliances are consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and able to provide excellent recommendations. They understand my interest in technology and gadgets, which makes the shopping experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Frank's Appliances to anyone looking for quality appliances and exceptional customer service. I have shared my positive experiences with friends and family, and they have become loyal customers as well. Ps: I am eagerly anticipating our kitchen remodel in the coming year, and I am confident that Frank's Appliances will be our trusted supplier. "Shop Local" is the way to go, and I highly recommend Frank's Appliances to anyone seeking reliable and affordable appliances.

Can't wait to watch them close doors for good like abc warehouse. They sold us a washer and dryer set. The dryer works fine, but the wash machine has given issues since day one. We called them for their "service call". Where they sent their tech, who came and "fixed it" after doing just a factory reset claiming that it fixed all the issues . Day after, I attempted to wash a load with the same issues of it not running water in the soap drawer leaving bleach un-useable and fabric softners unuseable . Along with the faulty soap drawer, we have had issues , with the towels cycle, delicate cycle, and tub wash cycle. All giving us the same issues and giving us an error code. Which their old tech can't do anything to fix because obviously hasn't been schooled in this new technology with washers. They only have 1 tech , who is useless to the situation aside from blaming it on "the amount of soap put in", if thats really the case whats the point of the max line in which has never been poured above. So unless your okay buying something that may or may not work properly. Aswell as their "repair" service which is a complete scam which doesnt fix the problem. Make it your call to shop else where.

I cannot begin to report that Durochers had the best salespeople and delivery workers I have ever seen in the appliance business. For starters, saleswoman Kathy C. went out of her way to help me with scheduling my most recent delivery. Even on her day off, she kindly helped me with some questions I asked her about. The delivery and installation men were Superlative. I had the best experience with Justin and Stephen. They were very prompt and gave me updates on when they would arrive, complete with texted maps of where they were in terms of getting to my house. Their installation was very well done, and I contribute that to the attention to detail they had in doing it. They was extremely courteous and respectful. I give Durochers great credit for having delivery and service people like these two young men. Outstanding! I have always been pleased with the appliances, service and delivery at Durochers. In addition when I needed a broken refrigerator shelf replaced the service department was excellent. I actually received the shelf a day after I ordered it. I was also given information on how to get reimbursed by the glass company as the shelf was still under warranty. ( I want to add that I had a $500 gift certificate from Lowes that I could have used, but preferred to deal with Durochers instead. By dealing with them I avoided the aggravation and hassles in dealing with a big box store that I felt could care less about its' customers).

After nothing for a month, I contacted the person who sold the appliance on Jun 16. He responded that some parts were on order and he'd have to schedule instllers to come out.
