It's a little town me and my fiancee visited just to get outta dodge for the weekend. We were debating if we should go out to eat for the night or if we should stop by the grocery and grab some stuff for the airbnb and stay in. Decided on the grocery so stopped here due to the intriguing name! I've never seen a grocery & hardware store in one! I wasn't too hopeful, but .... the grocery part was actually very impressive! This little place almost has everything you could want! It has deli type packaged foods and produce on the way in, drinks to the right (including alcohol) snacks and chips n' such in the middle then fridged packaged meats to the back right and more drinks to the back. We ended up grabbing a bunch of stuff and having a decent night in! Prices were pretty ok and selections were pretty ok! Found a little clearance rack in teh back that had some pork rines and bugles, among some others, which were a great find! REALLY cheap clearance, which is awesome! The older checker lady was so sweet and such a quaint pleasure to encounter compared to the usual busy non-chalant city associates I'm used to. I DEF feel like if we visit this area again we'll be wanting to stop at this cute little place again! :P

The guy that came was a bit awkward and uncomfortable to be around and they did not have the parts needed to fix the dryer (the guy implied he normally would but that someone took them off his truck). Nearly 1 month later, they still hadn't been back to fix. I had checked in a couple times for an update and the guy that answers always seems bothered and says there's nothing they can do since they can only order from ONE place. so. I ordered the parts off Amazon, they came to replace and the guy was just as uncomfortable as the first time. this time he implied the parts may never have even been ordered. any ways, he got the dryer running but now it makes this God awful screeching. I went to Frank sales for a brand new washer, to have in my apartment. I spoke with the salesman…read moreand explained I needed the washer hooked up to my kitchen faucet. He did not find it a problem. However, he wanted to confirm whether it could be hooked up that way. An older blond lady with glasses said it could not be hooked up to the kitchen sink. It was not a portable washer, and therefore was not possible. She kept arguing this fact and kept persisting. I explained that I had previous hooked up a washer to another lady's sink at the ivywood apartments. I sent had to hook up my own washer as well. You can see the order for me to hook up my washer on the bill of sale. Neither the person at ivywood apartments, nor myself had any sort of problems with the washer. One last thing, the washer actually has a "cold tap " setting on it. You can see that in a picture posted.
