When we closed in April, we noticed that the warming drawer did not close straight or flush and has a gap of about 1/2" at the top. After notifying the builder, we nobody came out to look at it until May 19. The tech that came couldn't fix it but identified that it was installed with the rear higher than the front and that the installers would have to fix it and that he'd order some parts for them (not sure what parts). After nothing for a month, I contacted the person who sold the appliance on Jun 16. He responded that some parts were on order and he'd have to schedule instllers to come out. I asked what was on order and when installers would come out but have recieved no response. I've left multiple voice mails on his phone line and at both the Monroe and Sylvania stores in addition to my email inquiries. All have been ignored. It is now Jul 30 (2-1/2 months) and still nobody has contacted me.

During the first service call, the repair people somehow cracked the inside of the fridge. I was told there is no way to fix the damage. The refrigerator needs a part from Samsung that has come in damaged now 4 different times. Durochers can order the part for next day delivery, so they could have tried far more than 4 times, btw. The last time, the part sat at Durochers for over 3 weeks before they even inspected it. ​ We have repeatedly asked for a manager to contact us, but been ignored every time. We have not had a working refrigerator in over 6 months now, but Durochers hasn't offered an apology or any sort of assistance.

The hold music for the company sets up all these things that will happen to make the service smooth, but they didn't actually happen. We paid in full for all parts/service, but it took a month and three service visits and a cancelled appointment to get done. Fortunately, the repair guy was in and overhead my conversation and steered me clear of the foot that I was thinking of getting due to a flaw in the design causing problems. Anyway, I decided to sit at one of the chairs in the area to get a better look at one of the sewing tables that I don't have room for in my studio. Wait, chair? What is this comfort that I am missing at home? This chair has lumbar support, the seat tilts forward and back also up and down, the back goes higher and lower...everything that I have been looking for in a chair. It's made by the same company that makes the sewing tables, so it's gone through the vetting process for comfort for the home sewer. I looked at the price and gasped. Seriously? But the longer I sat, I decided that I was worth the money. On a weekend, I can be in the chair for 8 hours (getting up to let the dogs out, you know how that is) over the whole weekend. I deserve the comfort of a good chair. And it's on sale? Done. Does it fit in the back end of my EcoSport? Double done!
