A few months later our combo microwave/oven had shut off unexpectedly, and we felt confident calling them again for this since we purchased all of our appliances from the store, and they recommended them. They came out a few times between the week of Thanksgiving in November-December 2025. First it was an electrical board issue- which they rerouted so we can use the oven. We were told they needed to order a part, and they'd call us to schedule once they received the part. The part came in, but it was wrong and the job couldn't be completed. They needed to order a new part. That was in Feb/March... again they came out in April, and still couldn't complete the job because the part was not right. Well now it's almost July, we still don't have a working microwave. No calls. No communication. Kyle, the repair tech was professional, and timely. No complaints on the guys who came to do the work. The company is not charging us for the extra repairs, so of course this has fallen on deaf ears and we have not heard from them in months. We have had to purchase another microwave and put it on our kitchen island because it's been 7-8 months without resolution.

I believe I discovered them over a year ago while driving through Newtown on the way to another event. They were closed at the time but I remembered the name on the sign. I was able to go back just last week. My only problem with the store is the hours- I'm not entirely sure when they're open but they were closed both times I passed by in 2018. However, just about everything else is great. This is a consignment shop filled with (traditionally men's) items such as tools, home decor, electronics, camping gear, etc. The prices are clearly marked. The prices are decent if you make sure you set your expectations correctly. I like yardsale prices, but when you have a store to run (with the requisite expenses and returns), the items have to be priced a bit higher. The staff (appears to be a married couple) are very nice and not at all pushy. In fact, I got a great deal at checkout on two items that I got for the price of one. The woman at the register was super sweet. The tools and other small items are meticulously organized and presented, and while there are lots of used items, everything looks clean and in good working order. There are some bigger items out front (generators, wood chipper, etc). I definitely had a good experience here and would come back if possible. Google says they are open Tuesday through Saturday, but I am not sure.

Today I purchased some brand new (still in packaging) tools for 75 percent less than I would have paid in the hardware store. Its worth the special trip up here to get some of these deals for your home garage or workshop.

The oven does not reach the temperature it is set at and can vary by over 100° at times! There is no option to calibrate it. They sent a tech to replace a part and it didn't fix it. I was told, sorry, there are no other repairs possible. They've been giving me a runaround for months and I haven't been able to use the oven at all. It's brand new and under warranty but they won't replace it or take it back. Unbelievable. Stay away from CAFD and Frigidaire. Terrible customer service and the warranty is worthless.

We've called numerous times, been put on long holds, hung up on and two crews came out bringing the wrong items. We have been calling your office every week, with no response and no timeline when our fireplace will be finished in our bedroom. This has been a reoccurring story with each fireplace (we purchased a gas fireplace and two electric fireplaces)--we pretty much had to come IN PERSON to get our main floor fireplaces installed with the proper materials. This is unacceptable. Since calling your customer service team and being disconnected last week, our cats have crawled into the open fireplace in our bedroom, and the pebbles have spilled all over our floor. I am submitting a better business bureau complaint, and complaining on yelp and other social media channels. I can't believe this is how you conduct business with your customers.
