Let's summarize my problem! The Ford Dealership was vague and would look at my 2018 f150 moonroof…read moremalfunctioning yet they couldn't give me a price or 'discuss' it until they had my truck. After a quick internet search , this is a 'common' problem and the dealership should know a little about this . i made a few calls and the owner of East Coast new exactly what my problem was but he needed to evaluate the truck's moonroof himself . The owner spent a few moments on the phone and I felt comfortable enough to drive an hour to his business . He diagnosed the problem and fixed my truck . He was quicker than I thought but his skills have years of experience. The internet suggests that I could fix it but if I had a problem where would I go? A smart man knows when to utilize a professional. This shop knows their sunroofs & t tops. I found a great mechanic who evaluates, diagnoses and then fixes the problem . I believe the dealership would still have my truck in their bay and I would have gotten a 'remove & replace' moonroof bill for a few thousand . Bottom line ... if the moonroof is broke then go to East Coast in Bristol PA!!!! Get the right man with the right tools and knowledge to get the job done !!! The drive is worth it!
