I originally…read morewent to a different dental firm, which said that I had a "cavity" that needed to be filled.  I was a bit surprised since I had lived well into my late 30's or early 40's without a cavity.  However, I thought, "Well, I guess it could happen."  So I got the other dental firm to take care of the "cavity".  At a later visit to the other dental firm, they said I had another "cavity".  At that point, red flags went off.  I take care of my teeth, so two "cavities" in such a short time frame was really surprising to me.  My husband had been going to Barone & Ford for quite some time, and he recommended that I go to Barone & Ford. Thankfully, I got a second opinion from Barone and Ford. As it turned out, I didn't have a cavity that required filling.  Needless to say, it made me wonder if the first "cavity" needed to be filled. Regardless, I switched to Barone & Ford and never looked back.  Over a decade has passed, and that "cavity" still has not needed to be filled... They are honest people who do great work. Everyone in my family loves them! P.S. - They do check and charge insurance in a timely manner. I am a bit surprised about the other review, as we have never had a problem with Barone & Ford billing our insurance. They send a bill/notification both pre and post insurance payment, and we have never owed a large amount owed for a regular cleaning after it was processed by insurance. We have been going to them for over a decade without an issue.

Got a few hundred dollar bill for a routine exam and dental cleaning and after calling 7 times about the bill, clearly irritated, the front desk rep told me to stop being combative and to let her get a word in. If I said that to one of my patients questioning a bill for the 7th time I would be fired. Never returning and making sure to let others know not to waste their time.

I had an original new patient appointment set for the end of July and she worked with my schedule to get me in a month sooner. (Note: Ask about the cancellation list if you have a flexible schedule or some upcoming off days) Very sweet and professional both on the phone and in person. Heidi was my hygienist and she was so nice and gentle. She walked me through everything, made sure I was kept comfortable and showed me how to use the massaging chair and tv. I felt not pain or discomfort during my cleaning. Dr. Marshall was also super friendly and a genuinely nice man. He made me feel both comfortable and confident that I was getting the best dental care. The overall vibe I got here was wonderful and I'm happy to call this my new dental home.

Our office experience was being amazing everyone was super hospitable, knowledgeable and acted with genuine care from the dental assistant , office manager Lauri and Doctor Marshall himself! They have taken such great care to alleviate the pain he was in and create a care plan to help improve both of our oral health. What were we doing for 2 years? Well, let me preface this by saying that I have a very stressful job/life which manifests itself in me grinding my teeth to nubs. (When my bottom teeth were done and placed in my mouth I complained to Dr. Current saying that I had horse teeth. He then explained that my bottom teeth were the perfect size and I had ground nubs for so long I had no idea what a tooth should look like) Since I was not going to stop grinding, Dr. Current was tasked with putting teeth in my mouth that (1) did not come out of my mouth and put in a glass every night. I am too vain for that. (2) making teeth for the implants Dr. Nasson put in (another review) that would withstand the force of my grind and (3) make sure they didn't fall out. Yes, I cannot tell you how many times I have spit my teeth into my hands. I acknowledge that I was not always the most pleasant human being to work with and I was stubborn about what I wanted. I learned the difference between "want" and "need". Dr. Current did not want me to need him as much as I would have had I not listened to him. He also refused to do that which would not work just because I said so. He won and I have teeth that do not fall out; are the right size and work. I can actually chew. I had just gotten them all in and went on a cruise. First meal I picked up the crustiest bread you ever saw and found that I was afraid to bite into it. I texted Dr. Current and told him about my fear that they would break. He laughed and said "Please take them out for a spin. Chew! I did and have been chewing every since. I could write for days about this journey. I would post a picture so you could see my teeth but the reality is I do not know how to smile with my teeth showing. I was always self conscious about them. When I try to smile to show off my teeth, I look a tad deranged and possibly feral. He had numbed up the area and then had me laying flat. They showed me where to initial and said I would get a copy on my way out. ( I never did) HE PULLED OUT THE WRONG TOOTH!!! The one he pulled out didn't even hurt! When I called back and spoke to him, he said that they can pull the one that has been hurting but, of course there will be a fee for that. Dr. Gorelik and her team were able to identify problems (infections) that another dental office missed and then they came up with a comprehensive plan to address what was causing my pain. They were also able to get me through the work that was needed without my blood pressure spiking from PTSD as it had done at the other dental office. A combination of CBD oil, their pampering salt room, nitrous oxide, the adorable office puppy, their open layout with windows in each room, clear communication, calming decor, and kind staff made all the difference. Their office offers a relaxing and spa-like environment and it felt like my body and mind had plenty of time to unwind before the work began. As someone who is high risk, I also appreciate that they wear masks, provide natural hand sanitizer, and everything feels super clean in the office. I called them and was told insurance didn't cover the amount they expected them to and that I owed $359 for a service from 3 years ago. No phone call, email or any communication in the last three years to let me know that insurance is denying this portion of the claim so that I could be aware and budget for an additional payment. I've asked for an invoice with a breakdown of services provided, dates of services, and payments made by me as well as insurance multiple times. I still have not received that and was told if this payment is not made within two weeks, it will be sent to collections.
