The absolute worst customer service I have ever received in a retail location. My mother sent my…read morekids some winter items and got all the wrong sizes. It was about 6 packages that didn't come with any receipts. All I wanted to do was exchange them for sizes that were right. Not a refund. Cashier number 3268323 , didn't get her name and another boy who seemed to be in a supervisory position asked for a drivers license. No problem. Gave them my drivers licence, after which they kept insisting that I have made too many returns at their sister brands and my drivers license wasn't getting accepted. And that since they tried twice already there is no way they were going to do it again. I assured them I don't shop any of the other sister brands. They told me there was nothing they can do without the original receipt. Okay, well it didn't come in the box... what am I supposed to do? So I call my mother, she's of course embarrassed and upset and I get the receipt and it's still a hard time for these two apparently and they're asking me for the banana republic card that was used. Guys... is this a joke? How many times do I need to repeat that I am not the same individual who purchased these items. Why am I being treated like I'm a security risk or as if I had stolen these items at the gap? This isn't a high end boutique, this isn't rocket science. I'm just trying to get the right sizes for my kids. Meanwhile they keep printing this slip of paper with a phone number I need to call sand shoving it at me. They gave me two. Meanline a line is forming behind me and these two are doing all they can just to get me to leave, shoving my returns back at me and repeating that there's nothing they can do. This is when I got really upset. I live upstairs in the apartments at the mall, I could be your loyal customer with 2 kids who are constantly outgrowing sizes. This is not the customer service I am used to with gap. These two were not looking to help me find a solution to a problem I'm sure many many other parents are experiencing this season. I will not be back again. Looks like it will be online shopping for me despite the fact that I live 40 feet away. Very disappointing. It would benefit this store to train their team to be customer focused and solution oriented and not automatically assume we are doing something wrong.

There are always awesome deals going on, and while I didn't plan on maybe actually getting anything the last time I went in, I walked out with some really good finds. Tanks were buy one get TWO free (yeah, you heard me right; totally not a typo). The staff greeted me in a really friendly manner when I came in and were extremely helpful--maybe too helpful!!--with pointing out all of the mermaid things they'd just gotten in. There's a whole table in the middle of the store that is filled with all things mermaid and unicorn. One of the girls even found a mermaid crown and hair jewelry (not really sure what else to call it?) that were really amazing. Currently rocking the red hair, I can totally pull off the Ariel look with the right makeup. One of the cute girls working in the store (I really wish I knew her name, because she was an amazing sales person!) went around the with me, making it so much easier to find everything. If there's one complaint I have about Hot Topic, it's that you really have to sift through everything to find something, especially the shirts along the walls on racks. She wasn't pushy, and I felt like I was shopping with one of my best friends. Even when it came time to the ring out and I was pre-approved for a Hot Topic credit card, she handled it perfectly without pushing it on me. Super awesome experience, and she was incredibly sweet even though we'd come in not too long before the store was closing. As I was checking out she even told me it was fun hanging out with me. But the two gentleman I dealt with were helpful in looking in the back to see if they had a few styles in stock. Bummer that they didn't, Today I came in to return an online order and the cashier was pleasant and promptly took care of me.

Familia getting (back) into Vans lately and decided to visit this store to see if they had any good…read moresales - buy one pair, get the 2nd one half off! Great timing with our visit because they had a really great selection for everyone. Even styles that we didn't find our sizes on the floor, the employees retrieved from the back for us! Employees were super helpful and more than happy to help and cater to our needs. Their jackets were on point (and on sale!) so had to get a couple! Love our experience here and will plan on coming back regularly!

From what I saw the assistant manager was on her phone when I walked in and some of the other workers were too. I've been to this location multiple times and if you asked me to pick the manager out of the regular sales associates I couldn't. He did not act professional and seemed annoyed when I had a question. I'm not one to leave bad reviews but this was just legitimately uncool. There were a couple very kind sales associates who I did speak too. But from what I have not only seen but heard from others who have shopped here is that the manager is very unprofessional and acts like he is 16 instead on a grown adult. Maybe if they replaced or retrained management on how to act with customers or even their own employees this location would improve

Carter's moved away from Fashion Place Mall recently, and I think it was an excellent choice. The…read morenew location doesn't require schlepping it across the busy mall parking lot with your children in tow. The new location also has a stroller/wheelchair button to open the door for you, and I'm loving it! This new location is also more spacious, with a little more room to navigate with a stroller/car seat. Overall, I really like Carter's clothes (and their associated brands). Some of the new releases are expensive, but if you can get it on sale or take advantage of the rewards program, you can get some great deals. I also highly recommend utilizing the in-store pickup, although some staff members definitely seem to know what's going on with pickup more than others.

They also have sizes for boys, and girls up to sizes 14. The selections for sizes 8-14 are limited. I like shopping the sales as you can get some pretty good deals, and really cute styles. If you sign up for their email notices you get extra deals. Something is always on clearance, so I try and buy for the next year's season to save money as Carter's can be expensive.

You've come a long way, Chuck Taylor!…read more If you're my age (40s) or older, you remember the iconic canvas-covered and rubber-soled Chuck Taylor high-tops worn on the court from the 1920s (yes, the 1920s) until 1980, when Magic and Larry came on the scene, leather started replacing canvas, and Nike rose to take over the athletic shoe business. But somehow, the Chuck Taylor survived ... as more of a fashion statement. If you don't believe me, there's a whole store-worth of Chuck Taylors and other Converse shoes. The Chuck Taylors definitely don't make a great athletic shoe anymore, especially since many brands have great gel and arch support and specialized drop on the soles. Long story short, they are so cool looking ... the cornucopia of colors and selection of styles are incredible. Art designs, neon, and, my personal fave, the dull muted burgundy and gray colored Chuck Taylors :) There are also many non high-top Converse All-Stars in the back of the store. And, most importantly, they have sizes big enough to fit my giant feet! I hope you enjoy seeing and wearing Converse as much as I do!
