All tags were the on it including the Koo De Ker label. I was asked by the young woman if I had the receipt. I said, no it was a gift and I wanted to exchange for a smaller size. She indicated that I was too late to return or exchange. She could even get up off her perch to see if their was one that I could buy (and sell the other one on Posh Mark). Unbelievable! It's not like I've waited until February to bring something back. Koo De Ker should mark on their labels their return policy on gifts! As I left I said, "I guess I won't be back, but you don't even care". Her response was "no I don't". I get it! It's a small boutique store but SERIOUSLY! I would suggest to the owner to do a little training. But then again, perhaps she doesn't CARE either.

I purchased a pair of shoes that unfortunately did not fit. Before buying this pair, I had purchased a smaller size when it was not marked as Final Sale. I returned that pair and purchased a half size larger, expecting it to fit better. However, the larger size was not only longer but also much wider, making the shoes look oversized and uncomfortable on my feet. I explained the situation to the store manager, Annabelle, hoping she would make an exception given the circumstances. I wasn't trying to break the Final Sale policy--I genuinely expected the larger size to fit because I had already exchanged from the smaller size. Unfortunately, she completely ignored my explanation, showed no empathy, and made no effort to help. She didn't even smile or try to have a respectful conversation. I was left feeling like she simply wanted me to leave the store. I shop at this Anthropologie location and online almost every week, and this experience was completely different from what I've always received in the past. The previous managers and associates were always friendly, professional, and provided outstanding customer service. This was the first time I've ever felt so disappointed. Policies are important, but great managers also know when to listen to loyal customers and handle situations with kindness and professionalism. Sadly, that was not my experience today. If you're purchasing Final Sale items, especially shoes, be very careful. Even if you are simply exchanging for what you believe will be the correct size, you may not receive any flexibility if the fit is completely different.

Lo and behold, it turns out this is an outlet location thus most if not all the prices are cheaper than anywhere else. Jacob was the employee that helped us and he was very friendly and helped me find a shoe that looks like it's going to work out very well. If it doesn't though, it turns out they have a 60 day "trial" where you can return the shoes in ANY condition within that time period. Pretty cool. So even if I need to exchange the shoes I can.

They asked me as I was shopping if I was finding everything okay and if I needed a fitting room to get started. After trying everything on one of the women helped me find different sizes and was very knowledgable about the different brands, fits, ect. After finding what I wanted she even went out of her way to check online for other options and showed me the Layne Bryant app on her phone, and showed me how to use it. I left very happy, and I was able to find exactly what I needed. The employees here definitely know what they're doing, and I'll gladly come to this location whenever I need something from here!

Also, the fitting rooms are not roomy, neither are the isles. So if there's two people in there, it can get crowded walking by. I was standing up against the wall asking my wife for her opinion, making sure I wasn't blocking anyone when all the sudden I hear a very rude "EXCUSE ME" like I was blocking everything. There was more than enough room to go around, but she was just upset I was asking my wife for her opinion. Then a "REMEMBER if it doesn't fit put it here don't put it there". I'm fine with a reminder, but tone and body body language really play a large part in how something is communicated. This should definitely be addressed. Additionally, all the dress shirts are skinny or slim fit and mostly all blue. Not much of a variety.

Yesterday, my wife and I were in the area looking for some local goodies as Christmas presents and made our way into Hip & Humble. The outside is very inviting-I love the color of the house-turned-retail building. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by Mabe, the beautiful resident dog. She happily sniffed us, let us pet her and then she went back to her duties of wandering the store. Any place that has a dog is A-OK in my book! Each item in the shop appears to have been carefully curated to be here. Nothing seems out of place or odd. I love every item and how cohesive everything feels. Up front, you'll find an assortment of knick-knacks, home goods, soaps & lotions, etc. Toward the back is a room full of unique women's clothing and accessories. The owner visited with us briefly and we felt very welcome to be there. It's a fun atmosphere with adorable items. I look forward to returning for additional gift items in the future.
