Probably the worst experience I've had in a business in many years... I tried calling several times…read moreover a couple of days always going to voicemail before I finally got a live person. I bought a new Mac mini and wanted to have it set up and the data transferred over from my old iMac. It should've been a simple process. Without getting into all the details, no one seemed to understand how to do that. There was only one person there who seemed knowledgeable, but he was never willing to come out of the back room to talk to me without a lot of insistence. After a week of supposedly working on it I was told it was just taking a lot of time to download the data. I finally talked to the person who is actually doing the transfer and she was trying to transfer 4 TB of data from my Time Machine onto the 512 GB Drive on my Mac mini ....Duh.?! When I explain to her how I thought the process should be done she argued with me and said I was wrong and should just do it myself.I went in to get my equipment and I don't know if it's the manager that I've been working with, but he hid in the back room and wouldn't come out and talk to me. I just wanted to get my equipment back and go somewhere else. He was using his Desk employees back-and-forth as messengers and they said he was just too busy to come out of the back and talk to me and he would have to text me later.. and they wouldn't give me my machine. I told them I wasn't gonna leave without my machine. The guy I had been working with just brought all the pieces out-dumped and dumped them on the counter. They didn't even bother to gather it up or box it up And they were missing the external drive . Unbelievable experience.. I felt sorry for the poor employees there they looked like deer in the headlights and definitely not well trained or customer service focused. I would highly recommend not going to Expercom in Logan for anything. It was the Customer Service experience from hell. I took my Mac mini to Aggie Tech Service Center in the Utah State student building. Chris was extremely helpful. We talked about exactly what I wanted to do and how they would do it. Chris was knowledgeable and professional And made the data transfer with a smile. And said he he didn't think he should charge me because it was so easy to do! Bought an Insignia TV on 10/27/25. Audio stopped working on 11/14/25 (18 days). Only option was to sent the tv back to Insignia to have them repair or replace. Will take 3-4 weeks. In the meantime, I accidentally left my wall mount bracket on the tv and tried calling the store to get that bracket removed so I could come pick it up. Called the local Logan # 5 times and it kept routing me to people in another country who could not help me. Finally got so angry I demanded to talk with the Logan store manage and they finally routed me to the store voicemail. Lousy customer service, lousy policies, lousy communication.

On the referral of a Salt Lake computer repair shop, I sent a laptop hard drive with significant…read moredamage to a company in California for data recovery. It was a disaster, involving, among other things, a total lack of communication on their part. A year later, with the company claiming multiple failed attempts at recovery, I asked them to return the hard drive, and on the basis of excellent reviews, decided to take a chance with Utah Data Recovery, if for no other reason than to confirm my data was not recoverable. Within 24 hours, I had been contacted by UDR, who asked me to provide all the information I could on what had happened. They even tried multiple times (not surprisingly unsuccessfully) to contact the California company to try to ascertain what they had done to the drive. Within a couple of days, I received a detailed analysis and prognosis, and less than a week after receiving my drive, UDR had successfully recovered ALL of my data! Cameron and the rest of the in-house team were fantastic -- exceptional communication, extremely professional and courteous, and they managed to recover all my data after significant damage, exacerbated by the clowns in California, and over a year after the initial mishap.
