Bought an Insignia TV on 10/27/25. Audio stopped working on 11/14/25 (18 days). Returned it to the store 11/22/25 and they said it was already outside their return policy, but still under manufacturer warranty. (BestBuy owns Insignia). Only option was to sent the tv back to Insignia to have them repair or replace. Will take 3-4 weeks. In the meantime, I accidentally left my wall mount bracket on the tv and tried calling the store to get that bracket removed so I could come pick it up. Called the local Logan # 5 times and it kept routing me to people in another country who could not help me. Finally got so angry I demanded to talk with the Logan store manage and they finally routed me to the store voicemail. Lousy customer service, lousy policies, lousy communication. read more

By far the most ridiculous company. They are so desperate to make "sales" that they cant take the extra time and care to protect their product from bots and the like so a real human who is trying to surprise their kid can buy a product. Would never recommend Best Buy to anyone. read more

Poor Customer Service - I bought a computer/keyboard/mouse from Best Buy of Logan UT. Six months later - Within the warranty period - I suspected keyboard needed replacement - sticky and non-functioning keys. I Called Best Buy in Logan Ut - thinking I could ask if they thought I needed a new keyboard. Instead I was required to talked" to a recording, and eventually I was transferred to a hard-to- understand person with Indian accent. All he could do was make an appointment for me to take disassemble and carry my computer to the Logan Ut store. I had purchased geek squad servicing, but he said I still needed to bring the computer in - About a 45 minute drive. I arrived with cords and wires attached as instructed, and the tech told me I needed a new keyboard. I asked him to just give me a replacement. He said they didn't have one on hand but he could order one for it to be delivered in a week for a week or two. I told him I needed to use it that day. He said he could sell me a new one but he couldn't give me any credit for the one that was broken because the real value of my purchase was the computer - not the keyboard. All he could do is offer the same cheap replacement keyboard and that would take up to two weeks to reach me. I protested - all was under warranty; I had purchased geek squad support; I needed them use to warrant my keyboard that day - not in two weeks. He got the store manager and she arranged for a 20% discount on the replacement. I bought a new $70 keyboard less 14 discount. If this is "BEST" Buy customer service, I'd hate to see the lesser service they sell. It is dishonest to treat people who have purchased high-end service this way. I want to add that the tech who was helping me was a competent, decent man. It's "corporate" who failed me. Good bye, Best Buy. Disappointed. read more

Their phone system sucks. The only way you can get what you need is if you go there in person.

So I bought a subwoofer that I needed to get installed and wanted to go through them to get it done, so I scheduled an appointment over the phone for two weeks out, get there after two weeks and they said i was scheduled for a half an hour. Had to reschedule for two weeks out after that, then they call me the day before I'm supposed to go in and said they had a water pipe burst and that I would have to re schedule again, re scheduled again and get there and then they Said that I wasn't scheduled at all. I'm done dealing with best buy they just don't seem to care. I won't be coming back. Save yourself the hassle and just drive down to sound warehouse in Ogden. read more

My family and friends will never buy from this Best Buy again! Very misleading and under experienced Geek squad staff. My 16 year old daughter bought herself a brand new set of AirPod pro from Best Buy online and had it shipped to our store in September. One pod stopped working so we took it in because she had the original year warranty plus she spent the extra money and got the 2 year AppleCare+ (utter waste of money) just to be told that they need to check it out and there would be a $30 fee (which we knew about). We waited for about a half hour to be told that he can't figure it out and that he needs to reboot his system that would take a 24 hr period for the update. Then he proceeds to tell us that it would be a $150 for a repair. My question to him was what the hell is the warranties for then? We gave up and left and in her frustration and disappointment she managed to loose them. Worst customer service ever. Dropped my car off yesterday to have remote start added. Tried to call today to see when it would be ready as l do not live in the same town. I was on hold for 28 minutes when i was told i would be transfered to my local store. Was on hold 13 more minutes when a national credit card rep picked up. I explained i just wanted info on my car, not a credit card and he hung up on me. So now I'll have to drive to another city to get info on my car. Shouls have done that in the first place. The employees are idiots. They have no knowledge of anything beyond the most basic information. They pester you constantly. One time they went as far as to accuse my mother of shoplifting. When I contacted them about this, they supported their employee who TOTALLY wasn't lying to protect herself. The customer is always wrong! They don't sell hardly any CDs. They have one row of the most generic garbage and stuff from the stone age. TVs are extremely overpriced. Buy one online. They don't pay cashiers, so even if there is no one in the store, you'll have to wait in line until one of them realizes that someone actually wants to buy something. The Geek Squad is horribly undereducated and told to cut corners constantly. Basically there is no reason to ever shop at this store. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. read more

They called and left a voice message for me instructing me to call them back to reschedule my installation appointment I had, due to one of their tech members getting covid. Upon calling back I was on hold for 30 minutes, eventually I gave up and decided to call back later. Called again and was left on hold for 20 minutes. Eventually, I gave up again. My wife went to this store a hour early on Black Friday to be the first in line to get some of the advertised deals. She even called a few days before and was told that the item would be there on Thursday and they open at 5. So she sat there in line for an hour with one of our children ready to buy a gaming desktop and two Samsung s10+ so ready to drop a good chunk of change. She was told that they are all sold out of both of those items because they started Black Friday already and she can order them online. She did and I had her cancel the order and I will be finding the things I am looking for elsewhere. read more

From looking at the other reviews, it looks like people either hate or love this Best Buy store. Well ... I don't fall into either category. I merely am ambivalent about this store much the way the vast majority of their employees are about their customers. This store has a lot of wonderful products and things we really like. They just don't have anybody there who really knows anything about their products and even their "Geek Squad" now struggles to put a screen protector on your new phone. We've spent close to $5000 in this store in the last month. Shame on us! It took close to three hours to purchase two new iPhones even though we new exactly what we wanted when we walked into the store ... and they weren't busy! A week or so later, we decided to upgrade our home computer. We did our research. We knew exactly what we were going to purchase. We walked into the store and once again they weren't busy. Three hours later we walked out of the store with our new computer. Shame Shame on us for helping stores like this stay in business! Of all stores though, you would think this store would get it. Get the fact they will only continue to stay in business if they can provide efficient service and quality customer service. Otherwise, people will order their iPhones and MacBooks online and call AppleCare with the few questions they have. We had to call AppleCare anyway since nobody in the store knows anything about the products they sell. Rather than wasting an entire day purchasing a few items. Why didn't we do something enjoyable for those six plus hours; order our items online and wait 24-48 hours, open our front door and get the box off our front porch containing our new treasures? SHAME ON US!!! I'm older. I'm from the generation that has liked going into a store and holding my purchase in my hot little hands as I made my way to the cash register. I've been slow to convert to the ways of Amazon.com and such. Well ... these last two transactions with Best Buy may very well be the proverbial "straw that broke the camels back". A message to all "big box stores": your days are numbered and dwindling fast if you don't come to your senses and start providing some sort of minimal customer service. It also wouldn't hurt to hire a few people with personalities too: people that can at least convincingly pretend like they enjoy their job and want me as a customer. We had to exchange a Bluetooth mouse for the computer we purchased. The store's GM helped with this exchange. His face was without expression. He appeared to be numb to the situation. I enjoy Best Buy but this one, not much to write home about. The selection was not that great and many items were low in stock. Staff were friendly but checking out was a bit confusing. They had one item I went for but that was about it. The highlight to this visit was enjoying the 4K flatscreens on the wall. Someday, I'll own one. read more

Their website said that the laptop I was searching for was available so I went to the store to pick it up. I found the laptop and picked it up and the kid in the laptop section said they were out of stock and they could ship it to me. I told him it said it was available at this store for pick up and he just looked blankly at me. Did not look around or anything. This Best Buy is kind of small so if you are looking for your usual Best Buy this is not it. The staff is really nice and friendly and i the first 5 minutes of being there we got asked by 3 different people if we needed help. That was really nice. I just wish the store was bigger. read more

The Most Helpful Staff We have purchased numerous things from Best Buy (TV's, phones, camera, monitors, keyboards, etc) and are so very happy with their staff and helpfulness in finding what we want. The latest happy event was twice taking my Smartphone in as I was unable to connect to Google except at my home. Mitchel worked with me but I was missing a step, I guess. Went in again today and with the help of Mitch and Kent at the Verizon desk, they were able to remove the SIM card and put it back in. It worked!! Now....they could have told us to make an appointment with the Geek Squad but they helped us right then and there. Kudos to Mitch, Kent, and Mitchel. Great guys read more

Extremely unimpressed. Bought a $1200 computer there a little over year ago, was told it was the best computer on the market and would easily last at least four years if not more. Today I took it in because it is fried. And of course, I didn't get the extended plan because "it will last four or more years". Also, I found a new computer online. When I asked if they would price match it because there's was $400 over, The salesman said in essence, that will take too long I would just buy the one online. Went in looking for a computer a few weeks ago and was greeted by friendly staff. I try to say at least one positive thing in every review I leave and I will say here the staff were quick to greet us and see if we needed anything. But they were either dishonest or uneducated on the equipment they sell. I asked for a computer with at least 1 TB hard drive and at least an i5 processor with 8 gigs of ram. They told me that computers like that weren't made anymore and that pretty much everything comes with just a solid state drive now days. I said that's ridiculous, where do would you keep all your files then? Solid state drives only have around 228 gigs on their memory which is practically nothing. Plus the laptops with the SSD and less then 8 gigs of ram are like $800+. Thats crazy! They said I'd just need to buy an external hard drive for another $75. Um, no. Feeling confused I went to Wal-Mart just to look and Voila!!! Multiple Laptops with all of the specs I asked for and for $200 less than what Best Buy is asking. I repeat, 8 gigs ram, 1 TB hard drive, i5 or equivalent processor. This is a standard spec list. If you don't have it that's fine. If you don't know about it just say so. But I've been given the impression your staff either doesn't know anything about the products you sell or they'd rather be dishonest and try to force me into buying something that doesn't meet my needs by telling me what I want doesn't exist anymore and then over charge me for it. Prices are average for retail. Service is poor. I am always frustrated when the employees are standing around and flirting with each other, and I have to interrupt them in order to get help/service/ask them a question. Staff always act like they're annoyed when they are asked by you to help locate something. read more

Great customer service. I bought an xbox 360 wireless controller for PC a year and a half ago and sprung for the 2 year warranty. It stopped working today so I took it in and they replaced it with a brand new one, renewed my warranty for another 2 years, and gave me $10 store credit. I'm amazed. read more

A couple of days ago, I bought a wireless mouse and keyboard for my desktop computer. When I was checking out, I talked with the cashier briefly about my computer and my interests in upgrading it. My primary interest is in getting an upgraded graphics card, but my understanding was that it may require a larger power supply. He agreed that was probably the case, and that I should bring it in to have the slots checked, to make sure they'd be compatible sizes with the upgrades I'd need. He told me that I could come by any time they were open and someone could take a quick look at it. So today, I went into the store with my computer. I was directed to the customer service area and they went to get someone from the GeekSquad. When the guy came out, he didn't ask what I was coming in for, he just asked if I had an appointment. When I told him I didn't, he started lecturing me about making an appointment, that he probably wouldn't have time to figure out what was wrong with my computer (not finding out if there was anything wrong) and demanding to know who told me I could just come by. I told him the cashier a couple days ago had told me to come by any time, and he seemed irritated by that. Finally, his lecture completed, he asked me what the problem was. I told him that I wanted to upgrade my computer, he cut me off and said "I wouldn't". I told him that I just wanted to upgrade the graphics card, he interrupted again and said "It's not worth it". I tried to continue, to tell him I just needed to know which parts to use for it, and he interrupted again and said "No, buy a new computer, it's not worth upgrading this, you can't upgrade this computer." I was pretty shocked by his attitude and rudeness, which he may have been doing because he had an audience of a couple other employees, or just because he's a jerk with no people skills. Either way, I resisted my instincts and just left. There was obviously no point in trying to discuss anything with him, as he still hadn't even heard what I was trying to ask him about in the first place. I know my computer can be upgraded, I've upgraded the hardware in the past, and I've consulted with several people online about the suggested upgrades for it. I just haven't been able to get definite information on the slots/compatibility. So the GeekSquad representative was obviously either unskilled about computer hardware, just wanted to show off, or was being a jerk about things. At this point, I have no interest in bringing my business into a store where I feel publicly humiliated and talked rudely to, which is unfortunate, considering I've shopped Best Buy so much in the past. This lack of customer service just pushes people like me (who can do without the bad treatment by unskilled, egotistical people) to make their purchases online and forget about supporting local retailers. read more

We bought a 49" TV in Best Buy the other day. In two successive visits - one to check it out, and the second in going back for a purchase after we checked out the offerings at Sam's Club. On both visits the sales person in the TV area (different individuals each time) was very helpful, knowledgable, and friendly. We felt very well taken care of - as opposed to Sam's Club, where you neither expect, or get, much personal help at all. The sales person had someone else helping for part of the purchase where they did a final inspection of the TV before it left the store. That person too, a young woman, was both very helpful and very friendly - made you want to come back and see them again. The sales guy brought the TV right to my vehicle and loaded it for me. This location is really a hit or miss for me. It can range from trying to find someone to help you, and taking more time than it should to finally get someone to flag down. The other side is I have had where I went in to find a product, ran into a girl working there and asked her. She let me know they did not have this product in stock anymore, so I went to look for some other items. She ended up finding it, their system was wrong, and came and found me. Most people would have just said "oh we do have it... oh well" but she took time out to see if I was still in the location, and let me have it. They do have a lot of stock on hand too, though make sure that the movie or game you want is there. It seems (for whatever reason) that some of the newer releases they will not have. Most of the time this is not an issue, but there have been times where they have not had the item in stock. It wasn't due to it selling out of stock, but just that they did not carry it. Staff wise, when you find them, they usually are more than happy to help you and take time out to make sure your questions are answered. Id recommend going here for any of your electronic needs. read more

Less than a year ago I purchased a tablet with a one year extra warranty, mouse, and pad. I started having issues with the tablet, so I took it in. Sadly, I trusted their system to keep track of my purchases. When I went in, they could find the receipt for the mouse and pad, but all information about the tablet and warranty, which was purchased in the same transaction,had vanished from their system. The man behind the counter implied I was being untruthful. I would just duck and take it if I thought I were the only one, but I fear others have and will suffer the same fate as me. I will NEVER purchase anything from them again. I wish I had read the other reviews before I made the mistake of entering the store. read more

Best Buy seems to be going down hill. I was just there hoping to replace a pair of Bluetooth headphones. I bought them last year at the same Best Buy, so I was hoping they could help me find something similar. I was there wandering for 30 minutes before I found someone to help me. That person promptly brushed me off and told me he would be with me in a few minutes. I didn't want to wait, so I showed myself to their wireless headphone section. There was no selection! I was surprised at how many products they no longer carry, also there were a ton of out of stock products. No one helped me check my warranty, no one helped me find product, I felt like I was wasting my time. Usually I prefer to support stores by going and physically purchasing products. This time I promptly went online and bought exactly what I wanted in half the time it took me to get to Best Buy. They should probably keep that in mind. read more

I love Best Buy as a store, but the Logan location is really meh. I ordered a camera and explained that I needed it by a certain day or else I would buy a different one. They said for sure it would be there unless there was a storm to delay it. Come to find out, it wasn't even supposed to SHIP until after the day they said and the guy either knew it or misread it, which is awful because of how clear I was about it. It was a disaster and caused huge problems since I needed it by them. When I called them about it, they transferred me to a Best Buy in Idaho, which was really dumb and I have no idea why they did that. They're polite staff, but they just don't really seem to know what they were doing. The guy who explained the problem later on was more knowledgeable but the whole experience was a disaster. Don't order from them at all. If you go to this location I would suggest only purchasing something if it's in stock. read more

I have purchased accessories, computers, televisions, and tablets. They may be cheaper online, but I do like to know that I can return it back to a physical store if there is a problem. read more
