Tortilla de Harina de tozino con huevo. Platillo para niños (pancakes, huevo con tocino). Bisquet. Platillo de huevo, papas y frijoles.

Good service and food! The owners and workers make you feet at homes. The tortillas de harina are HUGE. Portions are good!

Coffee, chips/salsa, and a fideo cup - it was nice and warm, perfect for a chilly day.

Yesterday we had lunch at a new (to us) Mexican restaurant on Paredes Line Rd. It's a small place and when we were there, there weren't that many people but as lunch time came around, diners started pouring in. As soon as we ordered, we got our drinks with chips, salsa, and a small cup of fideo. I ordered the cheese entomatadas (3) plate that comes with rice and lettuce/tomato while the hubs ordered the tampiquena plate that comes with a little bit of everything, sort of like a sampler. The food was pretty good, clearly fresh and homemade and the service was good as well. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous enough so I had a little extra to take home. We will definitely be back since this is closer to us and we don't have to travel too far.

i rarely give do reviews but I wanted to let everyone know about this restaurant located in Brownsville. we live about 45 minutes away and we were in town this morning. We looked over the reviews and decided to try this place. Had an amazing experience starting when we walked in great service and amazing food. Beans are very important for my wife and she gives them a thumbs up. The home tortillas and gorditas are great and big in size. Every thing we had was so good.

Soup with a meal - included at no charge. Delicious!

The food is fresh and great taste. The portions are also great and filling. And the home-made flour tortillas are huge and aaaaa so good.

Great food. I usually order the Migas ala mexicana and they are delicious. Tortillas are homemade.

This was our first time having brunch here and they were super helpful with explaining the menu (since there is a lot of French) and recommended for us to try the Croquettes. My boyfriend loved them!! I on the other hand was not very fond of the taste but I still had one :) I had the croissant sandwich and that was the best croissant and best sandwich I have ever had 10/10. It was super filling and the croissant just melts in your mouth. I had tried their pastries before and I HAVE EVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED PLS GO TRYYYY!! (If they ever make those beignets from agave fest again I would go every week for my fix) My boyfriend had the Canard Et Gaufre which is duck and waffles and he really enjoyed the duck. The only issue with this dish was that you can't eat it without using your hands or getting dirty. Other than that this is definitely a must try if you like chicken and waffles.

She got the quiche, I ordered the crab cakes Benedictine, and we split the Nutella crepes. So delicious. But the star of the morning I think was our tea lattes. She had a blueberry muffin latte made with earl gray tea and I had the taro tea latte. They were incredible. We were so happy with our brunch!

My boyfriend and I had brunch at crepe town on a Monday morning. They are going to close soon and…read morereopen at a different location so I wanted to try them out before they disappear for a while. It is kind of hidden next to the museum but we found it after a couple of minutes. I can see why they want to move to a different location so you can find them easier and so the seating can maybe look a little more elevated. We were able to sit wherever we wanted and it wasn't too full so we chose to sit in a corner and it wasn't too full pretty quiet. This was a nice little change compared to most brunch places that are loud, we enjoyed being able to talk without yelling. There is only one server so I'm not sure how they do it if it gets busy but he was nice and knowledgeable about the menu. We got a green tea with pineapple and a raspberry tea. They came unsweetened so you could add the sugar you wanted and customize the sweetness. Soft drinks (Coke, sprite etc) were not refillable so I'm not sure if it was a can or bottle. Coffee was available (cafe de olla) and also had free refills. I got the eggs Benedict with a spinach crepe and it was pretty good. I liked the fruit it came with, it was super fresh and the eggs were perfect! My boyfriend got the poblano chicken with a spinach crepe and this one was AMAZINGGGG! I know why the server said it was his favorite. He added some spice with the chile and it was perfect. I would 1000% come back for more and I will definitely go to the new location for this specific plate. The chicken was shredded perfectly, corn, poblano pepper and the cheese was all delicious. We ordered a side of almond flour pancakes because we were pretty hungry and weren't sure if our plates would satisfy us but we loved these! It comes with strawberries, bananas chocolate sauce and I think roasted pecans. It was so yummy and the pancakes were a little dense but the toppings complimented it so well. I do wish the server came back so I could ask for more syrup because my boyfriend and I like to drown our pancakes but that little cup was fine. Overall I would definitely come back and try other things on their menu. I hope they get a soda fountain since I am a Coke Zero addict but their tea was not bad. I also got to try their mostachon with strawberries and that was hands down the best mostachon I have ever had. I will be looking into ordering a full size one because it is worth it!!

I ordered the baked potato but it did not look like the photo. It was actually smaller than the image on the menu. With a small portion of meat. So you have been warned. Everything is was excellent. The server was quick to take our drink order but not as quick to get it to us. There are less than a handful of options for vegetarians. Not many. Their homemade tortillas are really good though. I had the tortillas with a little bit of the cheese. We are a party of two. Husband said that the mollejas and the chicharrón en salsa were good. The margarita too. Cute place. Will probably not be back strictly on the few options for vegetarians. I would recommend it to others though. Friendly, courteous staff. Edit: My original Star review was four. I'm taking one Star from them after reviewing my bill at home. We did not get 10 tortillas de harina. We got the corn tortillas that came with the food that we ordered and five (not 10) flour tortillas additionally. Five dollars isn't much, the point is that they DID overcharge us and I didn't realize it, unfortunately, until two days later.
