My boyfriend and I had brunch at crepe town on a Monday morning. They are going to close soon and reopen at a different location so I wanted to try them out before they disappear for a while. It is kind of hidden next to the museum but we found it after a couple of minutes. I can see why they want to move to a different location so you can find them easier and so the seating can maybe look a little more elevated. We were able to sit wherever we wanted and it wasn't too full so we chose to sit in a corner and it wasn't too full pretty quiet. This was a nice little change compared to most brunch places that are loud, we enjoyed being able to talk without yelling. There is only one server so I'm not sure how they do it if it gets busy but he was nice and knowledgeable about the menu. We got a green tea with pineapple and a raspberry tea. They came unsweetened so you could add the sugar you wanted and customize the sweetness. Soft drinks (Coke, sprite etc) were not refillable so I'm not sure if it was a can or bottle. Coffee was available (cafe de olla) and also had free refills. I got the eggs Benedict with a spinach crepe and it was pretty good. I liked the fruit it came with, it was super fresh and the eggs were perfect! My boyfriend got the poblano chicken with a spinach crepe and this one was AMAZINGGGG! I know why the server said it was his favorite. He added some spice with the chile and it was perfect. I would 1000% come back for more and I will definitely go to the new location for this specific plate. The chicken was shredded perfectly, corn, poblano pepper and the cheese was all delicious. We ordered a side of almond flour pancakes because we were pretty hungry and weren't sure if our plates would satisfy us but we loved these! It comes with strawberries, bananas chocolate sauce and I think roasted pecans. It was so yummy and the pancakes were a little dense but the toppings complimented it so well. I do wish the server came back so I could ask for more syrup because my boyfriend and I like to drown our pancakes but that little cup was fine. Overall I would definitely come back and try other things on their menu. I hope they get a soda fountain since I am a Coke Zero addict but their tea was not bad. I also got to try their mostachon with strawberries and that was hands down the best mostachon I have ever had. I will be looking into ordering a full size one because it is worth it!! read more

It has been over a year since the last time I dined at this location. The meals are great but the food takes a very long time to come out. I waited about an hour to eat. I had my grand kids with me and they were impatient. I had to keep them entertained. This place is not ideal to bring children. The waitress was nice and accommodating on refilling my coffee and water. Ambience was nice and they had an organist playing music. Just disappointed on being there for two hours. read more

We went during the morning, there were only 2 other people there. It took about an hour for our food to be brought out to us. When our food came out it was cold. Not warm, literally, cold. When we told the waitress she didn't know why to do, she seemed confused. Wouldn't recommend. I heard a lot of good things about this place but was highly disappointed. read more

In a city where tacos and fajitas are king I am always on the look out for food in town that isn't the norm. Situated in the Museum of Fine Arts you'll find a treasure trove of delicious foods. From the moment I walked in, I had a good hunch about the place. Restaurant has plenty of natural light coming in and you're surrounded by the works of local artists. Hands down they are serving the best cafe de olla in south Texas. The smell alone is intoxicating & beckons you to have another sip. Do yourself a favor and order the poblano chicken crepe, it's exquisite in flavor and will not disappoint. The food here is made with great love and care, it had the ability to transport me to my tia's kitchen back in San Luis Potosí with every bite of lentil soup that I was savoring. Love this restaurant!! One of my favorite places to eat when I go downtown I wish they had more drink options that I liked but I am also fine with the water they provide. I am obsessed with the chicken poblano crepe!! It's a great option for a savory crepe and it's very filling so you could your bang for your buck. I love that it's served with a side salad since I love my veggies. The Nutella crepe with fruit is also delicious and a great dessert option. read more

The most amazing hidden gem!! Took my 7 year old down the street to the Children's museum and stopped here for lunch on our way back to our Airbnb! It was a bit difficult to find because we were looking for a stand alone building. The restaurant is located inside the Brownsville Museum of Fine Art. Once we figured it out we were fine. As a table we ordered the turkey & cheese, poblano chicken and Nutella crepes. Everyone was left beyond satisfied. Their house coffee is also delicious. Our server was so sweet and attentive!! I would like to say what an absolute wonderful experience I've had every single time I've eaten at Crepe Town. The service is always above and beyond with staff being very knowledgeable with regards to the menu. The crepes have been delicious, consistent and very reasonable from the start and remains so today. The teas are not the ordinary and so quenching and desserts are out of this world tasty! This restaurant checks off all the boxes for a wonderful lunch place and even more with live soothing saxophone playing unobtrusively in the corner last time I went. Bonus is it located in the museum and you can pay a minimal fee to check out the exhibits! read more
