What a lil jewel in downtown Brownsville, the staff is on point here ,service is fast especially for a busy weekend. Food is absolutely amazing. And the ambiance is wonderful, I wish we had more places like this all over the valley.

I came down here because one of my family members suggested it, and walking in it was cute, very nicely decorated the place looks clean, you can tell the building is very old but that just gives it an extra point in ambiance. When we came to front counter and were thinking about what to get one of the waiters was so nice and he let us take our time but not even a minute later another waiter comes and says that we should go sit down and look at the menu and then come and order. Although it wasn't done in a rude way it did seem like they just didn't want us up there thinking and no one was behind us trying to order. We ordered and waited for our food which came very quickly. The food was nicely presented and it was good but it wasn't amazingly good. Overall would come again if someone wanted too but not on my own accord.

The food was average. Maybe even below average. Nothing wow about the food. The cappuccino was actually very good. The ambiance is cute and nice for the downtown area. Service was decent but kind of dislike that you have to go up to the counter to order. It's a spot you'd go once and maybe again but just for a cute cup of cappuccino. Not sure if I'll go back.

First impression, this restaurant is lovely, fully updated and perfect for brunch! This place is bright and welcoming- if the food is anything like the ambiance I will come back . Update I tried the breakfast sandwich, chilaquiles and a vanilla latte and the Morning Glory did not disappoint It's worth the drive if you don't live in Brownsville

What a charming place for breakfast or brunch. The staff is top notch, very friendly and spot on when it comes to attention to detail. The food is not only visually appealing but the flavors are amazing. We loved to combination of flavors in both our meals. We can't wait to go back and try more.

No salt and pepper on the table available. There isn't anything unique to this dish. It looks like it will fill me up. There is no wait staff. The ambience has changed from when they first opened. I really loved they way they had it before. There is too much light. I am honestly disappointed how the decor has changed and now you have to order your food before you sit at a table. The eggs were cold and the toast was too hard to bite into. The place looks clean. But don't think I will be back

The revitalization of downtown Brownsville is going well, especially with places like Morning Glory! I thought I was back in San Antonio when I stepped in. The decor was so cute, a nice mix between historic feeling and modern, and very spacious with lots of natural light. Service is "order at the counter" - so fast casual. Menus are up on screens and they have some classics like omelettes and eggs benny, and waffles, and more things for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Their pastry case also had stuff like chocolate croissants. (My sister said it was the best chocolate croissant she ever had!) Service was good, one of the employees complimented my dad's Star Wars shirt. Friendly folks. My eggs Benedict had salmon added for about an extra $3. The capers made the dish a smidge too salty, but if I ate a bite with a heaping pile of the arugula salad, it all balanced out. I ate the whole thing, haha, so that tells you I really had no problems with the dish. Oh, and the poached eggs? They looked PERFECT. Perfectly round, bouncy, and runny. 10/10 for the chef. My iced caramel latte with oat milk was also so good, I finished it in record time. Dad also loved his coffee, he said it was nice and strong. He had the waffle, looking crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and mom had an omelette which was super good. I know, I had the leftovers.

Best coffee in the downtown area. My parents loved the food, they have vegan alternatives/items like the avocado toast and the bean dip (no cheese) that my dad loved. Will literally come here more often because my parents don't want to eat anywhere else. Loved it.

We'd been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally got the chance to. We were disappointed. The first thing we didn't like was that it is an order at the counter type restaurant. I don't always mind this, but I do mind this for a restaurant that looks this cute and is brunch focused. The restaurant itself, however, is very cute. I loved the clean decor and general vibe, I just wish they offered table service. When we walked in, we were told which table we could sit at, and we were then pointed to the counter where we could order. When we got to the counter, the gentleman handed us a paper with a QR code for the menu, and he told us we could sit down and then come back when we were ready to order. So, that's what we did. My boyfriend went to order for us as I stayed at the table. The ordering process took a while, as there was a long line. It was a little hectic, to say the least. And there was a line nearly the entire time we were there. We both ordered a sunrise mimosa, and they were promptly brought out to us. They photograph better than they tasted. The drinks were all juice and had hardy any champagne. We then got our food. The presentation was very nice. I ordered the chilaquiles verdes and my boyfriend ordered the meat lovers omelette with a pancake on the side. I totally forgot to take a photo of the pancake. The chilaquiles were ok. The verde sauce was a little too limey for my taste. They came with a side of refried black beans, which were the star of the show. My boyfriend's omelette was very tasty. He did not like the potatoes it came with and thought they were too dry. The pancake came with cinnamon butter (think Texas Roadhouse) and syrup. The cinnamon butter made the pancake good. Otherwise, it's just a pancake. Overall, we decided we would not be back. It is just not worth the price and the awkward ordering process.

The place is BEAUTIFUL!!! I loved the decor. The food is good. Wsh it would come out hot though. They serve some Mexican food with a "fancy" touch and some "brunchier" options like eggs Benedict. The customer service was on point (very friendly young guys and gals).

Overpriced and flies everywhere. When I told the server she said, yes they are here all the time. WTF.

My boyfriend and I had brunch at crepe town on a Monday morning. They are going to close soon and…read morereopen at a different location so I wanted to try them out before they disappear for a while. It is kind of hidden next to the museum but we found it after a couple of minutes. I can see why they want to move to a different location so you can find them easier and so the seating can maybe look a little more elevated. We were able to sit wherever we wanted and it wasn't too full so we chose to sit in a corner and it wasn't too full pretty quiet. This was a nice little change compared to most brunch places that are loud, we enjoyed being able to talk without yelling. There is only one server so I'm not sure how they do it if it gets busy but he was nice and knowledgeable about the menu. We got a green tea with pineapple and a raspberry tea. They came unsweetened so you could add the sugar you wanted and customize the sweetness. Soft drinks (Coke, sprite etc) were not refillable so I'm not sure if it was a can or bottle. Coffee was available (cafe de olla) and also had free refills. I got the eggs Benedict with a spinach crepe and it was pretty good. I liked the fruit it came with, it was super fresh and the eggs were perfect! My boyfriend got the poblano chicken with a spinach crepe and this one was AMAZINGGGG! I know why the server said it was his favorite. He added some spice with the chile and it was perfect. I would 1000% come back for more and I will definitely go to the new location for this specific plate. The chicken was shredded perfectly, corn, poblano pepper and the cheese was all delicious. We ordered a side of almond flour pancakes because we were pretty hungry and weren't sure if our plates would satisfy us but we loved these! It comes with strawberries, bananas chocolate sauce and I think roasted pecans. It was so yummy and the pancakes were a little dense but the toppings complimented it so well. I do wish the server came back so I could ask for more syrup because my boyfriend and I like to drown our pancakes but that little cup was fine. Overall I would definitely come back and try other things on their menu. I hope they get a soda fountain since I am a Coke Zero addict but their tea was not bad. I also got to try their mostachon with strawberries and that was hands down the best mostachon I have ever had. I will be looking into ordering a full size one because it is worth it!!
