Stopped here for lunch. I'll be honest, I'm from the southwest, and if you're selling tacos, you better bring your "A" game. This place did the job just fine. I had the adobada, pastor and asada tacos. They all were tasty and fresh. If I had any feedback it would be the salsa. We were intrigued by the name and the small menu and was expecting authentic Mexican food. What we received was very disappointing! We had tacos that were lacking in flavor. We had ceviche that was suppose to have crab and shrimp, instead they used imitation crab meat. What a letdown! The other items ordered like the burrito & guacamole were only average. Yummm, best Mexican I've had in the Reading/Wyomissing area.. clean fresh ingredients and they even make their own tortillas. The nacho libre theme is fun too. The chips and guacamole are delicious, I've had and loved the luchador which is kind of like a giant quesadilla only with a homemade tortilla and your choice of meat. Also the Anaconda Squeeze was amazing too, a burrito with either beef or chickens and other things like avocado, black beans, rice. Went here for lunch on a Saturday. Food is not good quality. My husband & I ordered the luchadors - he ordered the pork & I ordered the chicken. I got chorizo luchador & had to wait for them to make my correct order while my husband ate. My husband said his was mostly cheese & greasy. While I waited they didn't offer me chips or salsa - & no compensation whatsoever. My husband was done eating when my food finally arrived. Sorry but no glowing review here. I walked in to place a take out order. After 5 minutes of being ignored by the cashier who was sorting checks for tables she finally looked up and took my order. It was a pretty simple order. Why did it take 30 minutes to make it? Because the cook can only make 1 item at a time. I stood there and watched him. I ordered a luchador with cheese. It was tasteless and very heavy. I wasn't offered any choice of salsa and it came with what i believe was a tomatillo salsa. That's all that gave it flavor. The biggest disappointment was the corn. The menu plainly said corn on the cob. I got a container of what appeared to be canned corn that they added some seasoning to. There is a big difference between a bowl of wet drippy corn and corn on the cob. And for $3, it's not worth it. My meal cost over $12. Seemed like way too much money. The pluses of the place is nice decor and fun. Little thumb wrestling games on each table. I guess that's to keep you occupied while you wait. read more

It took me some time to actually try this restaurant, primarily because I love Mexican food but lean towards enchiladas and the such. I thought tacos may be too boring. Boy was I wrong!!! We stopped in for lunch one afternoon and ordered the Mexican grilled corn on the cob and I got 2 tacos. The chorizo and the chicken. Everything was so good, so fresh, so delicious!! The tacos were good, but I'm nacho it's something you'd want to write home about. Everything else I got (with chicken) tasted like it was smothered in Frank's Red Hot sauce. I expected something really fresh and authentic but I couldn't shake the feeling that I was eating a glorified buffalo chicken sandwich. The corn was a let down, as well. It was very clearly boiled and every bite was like a starchy water explosion in my mouth. The cheese used was great, but the excess moisture caused most of it to run off and it wasn't pleasant. I absolutely love authentic Mexican food. How ever this place missed the mark. My major complaint was the food was very dry and bland with lil to no flavor. To start we had chips and salsa. The salsa tasted like tomato water was more or a pico then salsa. For our main course I ordered the carne Asada tacos. You could tell the meat was old and very very dry with little to no flavor. Had to drench in lime juice to add hydration to the meat. My wife had a burrito which her complaint was her beef was over dry as well. hands down least favorite Mexican place I ever eaten. For two adult and a toddler our bill was over $30 and we ate 1/4 of the food brought out. Total waste. read more

This place is my go to spot for authentic home made Mexican burritos. In fact because of Let's Taco Bout It I have become a burrito addict. The staff is great and always attentive. The food is really good, it may take some time before it get to your table but it is worth the wait. If you want some great tasting food made with quality ingredients then hit up Let's Taco Bout it. I personally get the Anaconda Squeeze and let me just say that it is always satisfying.
