Made it up the smaller wall and we signed up for Flips & Tricks classes. The staff is THE BEST. My son has difficulty making/keeping friends and "doesn't like to talk to grownups", but he loves the staff here. As a middle-aged mom, I would call the coaches themselves "kods" because they are at least half my age, but they are AMAZING with my son. He "got hurt" his first class and yelled/cried, but the coaches let him have his feelings, got him ice, and taught him how to avoid that situation in the future. After only 2 official classes and 2 longer events, my son has more confidence and says that he "loves the coaches". Hopefully he will make some friends his own age soon too because they have the same love of literally jumping off walls. Tiny Kicks has had a positive influence on him, on and off the field. Having watched the kids scrimmage often on Wednesdays, I am also pleasantly surprised by how the bar has been raised for the entire group over the last two years. Tiny Kicks is a well run program, the coaches have invested time and made a real impact in the development of my son (and his peers)! My son continues loves his time there! We have had a few privates before and my daughter was so close but something was missing and she wasn't able to hit it. We did a one hour private, within 20 min of our private my daughter nailed it!!! Coach Abby was able to identify the problem, make some adjustments to her form and she nailed it! I could not be more thrilled of this instructor who took the time to get to know my daughter on a personal level and make her feel comfortable and silly but also know how to change tunes and when to focus. Flight school was a very clean gym, clean bathrooms, ladies at the desk were very friendly. Anissa is by far the best instructor we've ever had. She is on a whole different level! She pays incredible attention to detail. Since mastering clean and accurate form is the foundation of swimming, she corrects even the slightest hand angles and head positions. Thanks to her detailed coaching, we are already seeing great results in such a short period of time. She is incredibly friendly, professional, and amazing at what she does. An extra bonus: my child told me that the instructors constantly exchange feedback and advice with each other. My child has recurring private 1:1 lessons for over 2 months now and has been thriving each week…read moreand during make-up sessions, too. Ashanti has been such a blessing in making each lesson so meaningful and very productive. At times when our instructor is unavailable, the company automatically informs me by email way in advance and finds someone to cover our schedule. However, on days when we can't make it to our recurring lessons due to unforeseen circumstances, the cancellation process and scheduling our make-up lessons with different instructors at their portal has been such a smooth process. Besides Ashanti, our main instructor, all the other lady instructors has been such a huge support in helping my child grow and making gradual progress in all of our scheduled swimming lessons. They all have been very mindful of my child's sensory issues from the get go, which I'm so grateful for, and my child always looks forward to go swimming with them. It has been such a joy to finally found a company who's a perfect fit for my child's swimming needs. I've searched for many years, but couldn't find one either because of the long waitlist or they're just not funded by the regional center (traditional funding). The last teacher they paired us with consistently started our lessons late and ended them early. Tried talking to management but they were totally uninterested. Definitely recommend taking your kiddos elsewhere.
