Went to many of the big box sporting good stores, but their inventory was quite limited and their salespeople not very knowledgeable about soccer cleats. Found Xtreme Soccer on Yelp. Super personable and helpful on the phone. Went to their shop in Torrence. Super kind and knowledgeable employees. They also had great soccer cleat inventory. Found a great pair of cleats that my daughter loved in less than 5 minutes. Great store and will return for all my other soccer needs

USPS advised me that the package appears to be lost and that a lost mail claim should be filed. The most frustrating part has been the lack of customer service. I emailed the company using their official support email and have not received any response. When customers spend over $100 on an order, they deserve timely communication and assistance when something goes wrong. I understand that shipping issues can happen, but ignoring customers only makes the situation worse. Until this issue is resolved and customer support improves, I cannot recommend ordering from this company.

5-Star Review for Futbol Identity Training (FIT)…read more This review is long overdue, but absolutely well deserved. First, I have to talk about Angel--the young owner of FIT. I've communicated with him on multiple occasions, and he is truly someone to be impressed with. Not only is he a driven young entrepreneur, but he uses his talents, his vision, and his personal opportunities to mentor others along the way. Angel is respectful, intelligent, ambitious, and genuinely committed to uplifting his community. I'm rooting for him to continue growing and doing amazing things; he is exactly the kind of leader we need more of. In September, I hosted my nephew's birthday party at FIT, located on the first floor of the South Bay Galleria, and the entire experience exceeded every expectation. From the moment I reached out, Angel was patient and incredibly helpful--answering all my questions, guiding me through the planning, and making sure I felt supported all the way until the party was over. The party itself was fantastic. The kids (ages 11-13) enjoyed free play on the turf, and Angel and his staff member even jumped in to lead games and keep the energy high. We brought our own food, cake, and a few decorations, and everything flowed smoothly. The space was clean, well-managed, and perfectly set up for an active, fun-filled celebration. Most importantly, the kids had an absolute blast and were talking about it long after the party ended. Angel and his team were attentive, friendly, and helpful from start to finish. You can tell they truly care about what they do. A note to fellow customers: These guys work extremely hard to create a great experience for everyone. I made sure to tip them and offer food during the party, and I encourage anyone who is able to do the same. A little generosity goes a long way in supporting a small business that's pouring so much heart into the community. FIT is a gem, and Angel is a standout. I highly recommend this place for parties, training, or just a positive environment for kids to be active and have fun. Support this business--you won't regret it! Thank you, Angel and FIT Team!!!

I've spent enough time here to separate a bad day from a broken system and unfortunately I think…read moreit's the latter. The facility has potential. There are plenty of fields and having indoor space is valuable. That's about where my praise ends. The biggest problem is the coaching. Youth soccer should be about development. Teaching fundamentals, correcting mistakes, building confidence and making sure every child gets meaningful instruction. Instead, the quality depends almost entirely on which coach your child gets. Some are engaged. Others seem distracted, chatting with each other while the session runs itself. Too many practices turn into kids standing around or playing small scrimmages with very little coaching, correction or individual feedback. Parents aren't paying to rent field space. They're paying for instruction. The environment doesn't help. Parking is consistently frustrating, the building gets uncomfortably hot and the indoor fields often have that stale turf smell that hits you the moment you walk in. The front desk also sets the wrong tone. Most visits start with staff sitting behind the counter without so much as a greeting or acknowledgment. For a place built around families and young kids, that's disappointing. One thing that continues to surprise me is how little attention is paid to what's happening around the active classes. I've regularly seen parents, older siblings and other family members juggling balls and kicking them around right next to training sessions. It's distracting for the kids who are actually there to learn and no one seems interested in managing it. What frustrates me most is that this carries the LA Galaxy name. You expect a higher standard of coaching, organization and professionalism. Instead, it feels inconsistent from top to bottom. If you happen to get one of the good coaches, you'll probably have a positive experience. If you don't, you've simply lost weeks or months of development. For a program representing one of the biggest soccer brands in America, "hopefully you get a good coach" shouldn't be the business model.

Kudos to Torrance & Toyota for putting money into this location…read more Nice outdoor complex with just a few complaints (sorry). My girls had never played on turf before, and they enjoyed the experience. NOTE: this location only has artificial turf fields. A big advantage is that you can play under the lights and in the rain, the complex has around 6 full size fields - from what I could tell, maybe more? Because the space is being maximized, the fields feel like they are on top of one another. This results in frequent stops because balls from other games end up on your field. Because the space between fields is limited, you also end up sitting side-by-side with people rooting for the game taking place on the field next to yours. It just feels odd. Plus, the width of the playing fields are unique (smaller), which our girls were not prepared for, corner kicks are much closer, which can be a blessing or a curse. Parking can also be a challenge, you will likely use the Torrance court house parking lot which is just across the street. OK, with my complaints behind me, this is a great facility! Very well cared for, super clean, and state-of-the-art artificial turf. I get that the city is working with the property that they were given, and doing everything to maximize the space, but I wanted to convey every aspect, overall this complex is a blessing and greatly appreciated by soccer fans and players. NOTE: you can only bring water, and no food within the field paramaters - these stipulations are to preserve the artificial turf. http://www.torranceca.gov/26907.htm (for more details)

Youth Soccer Should Build Dreams, Not Break Them…read more We are witnessing a devastating failure of oversight at Sand & Surf Soccer Club. One coach in particular has crossed the line from discipline into cruelty -- speaking to young, hardworking, impressionable players in ways that drain their stamina, crush their confidence, and drive them away from the sport they love. This is not just about one bad season. It is about a culture where bullying goes unchecked, promises of improvement are broken, and leadership fails to protect the very children they claim to develop. When a single coach is allowed to act this way, the damage spreads across the entire club. Every young player deserves encouragement, respect, and the chance to grow. Instead, we see dreams being killed by words and actions that have no place in youth sports. We call on: Club members to demand accountability and refuse to normalize toxic coaching International soccer leadership to recognize this oversight gap and enforce standards of conduct Coaches everywhere to remember: your words can either build futures or destroy them Silence is complicity. It's time to stand up for the players whose voices are being drowned out. Their dreams matter. Their futures matter. And we will not allow negligence to continue unchecked.
