I have a membership that includes spray tanning only. When I first purchased the plan, it was…read moreunlimited. Then a couple of years ago they changed the rules. You could only go every three days. For over a month the spray tanning unit known as the versa spa was down and not working, which was a huge inconvenience. I made several calls and sent emails as well to Corporate never got a response. It was very inconvenient for me to go to the other location in normal. Now all of a sudden they have changed their hours to closing at 7 PM instead of 8 PM. I was not notified this also is very inconvenient. I realize the girls that work there don't have any decision making in this process or at least I don't think so. therefore, their corporate policies are extremely lacking for customer service. In fact I would say there is no customer service. I do not plan on being there past the current month. I am so very disappointed and inconvenienced and like I said I have put in phone calls and emails and never ever received a response of any kind from any person. Therefore, I do not recommend this establishment.

Katie and Deanna did our hair for the wedding and both of them were great to work with. My sister was really happy with her advance trial with Katie and everything turned out great for the wedding day. She got exactly what she wanted both times. Stephanie did all of our makeup and also did a great job. Most of us don't wear tons of makeup and wanted natural but defined looks that would last all day and we all walked away really happy. I felt like my makeup really did last and keep me looking great from 9am until the party ended at 1am! Having them come to us on the wedding day made things so much easier and convenient given our busy day and tight schedule. I would definitely use them again for my wedding if it was nearby! All three ladies were really lovely to work with and created a relaxing environment for us in our hotel suite that morning.

My airbrush makeup held up the entire day and barely even came off when I took a shower! It was an entirely outdoor, August wedding so this is no small feat! My hair was also gorgeous and exactly what I was looking for. I get so many compliments on both when others see pictures from the wedding day. My mother and sister also loved their makeup and false lashes. They also took Covid-19 protocols very seriously and made sure to limit the amount indoors at one time, sanitize everything, and wear masks. Thank you so much Girl Friday!

So, I got the tanning itch…read more.. The pale wasn't doing it for me nor this adorable white get-up I purchased for a fun night out, so I high-tailed it to the nearest tanning salon. Seriously, the nearest, it's a minute (less than really) walk from my apartment and on the way to/from work. They offer zillions of packages with different times and beds, but the last time I went tanning was 8 years ago, so I figured I'd start out with the 3 tans for $5 (to be used within a week of purchase) and see where a little bronzing got me... Tan #1: -basic clamshell bed- decent, though for those who are claustrophobic, I'd think twice -8 min- already tan? start here or higher. parts of your pasty body haven't seen the light of day since 2004? try this or even lower. Don't be ashamed. Shame is for burnt b*tches like moi. Tan #2: -2 steps up from the basic-less clamshelly, though still burrito-esque... -8 min- she was trying to get me to go for 12 min (maximize my money's worth, appreciated) but I burn like a disco inferno. Tan #3: -650 bed-highest level they got and, oh lord, am I in love. This bed is what I feel a tanning bed should be: flat and huge, almost bed size, with fans in the bed pointing at my face and increasing in intensity as I spend more time baking. -10 min-even though, it was only two minutes more than the others, it was plenty. Did I mention I burn? Bottom line: thinking about tanning? Try the Sun Room. Good beds, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, especially for a semi-first time gal. Tip: if you get ants in your pants when you have to sit still, bring an pod and earbuds to make the time go by faster
