There is a reason this place is called Serenity Med Spa. It's because from the first moment you step foot in the door, you are given the serenity of knowing you are in capable hands. The spa is beautifully decorated. When I first arrived, I sat in a lovely waiting room with navy blue floral damask chairs. At the front desk were Heather and Karen. Karen offered me water and answered all my questions and I had the opportunity to check out Jane Iredale makeup and other health inspired products in which I was interested. I wasn't sure I would like Jane Iredale makeup but Heather showed me the perfect shade and I love it. I felt like I was at home here and the ambiance touched all my senses. In addition to the decor, and beautiful Christian inspired music, this place has a heart. They are raising money in the fight against human trafficking. A portion of the proceeds were being donated to a a Christian ministry which rescues women from human trafficking and helps survivors. This is a cause dear to me because I work in Catholic health care and this is part of our mission as well. Prior to my visit there, the only med spa service I had received was Botox. At Serenity Med Spa I received PRP enhanced microneedling with Stephanie and fillers and Botox with Carrie. I am 56 years old, feeling and looking my age so I was long overdue for some mental and physical rejuvenation. I always had a divot or dip area in my upper cheeks on both sides which became more pronounced as I grew older. Carrie was able to correct this with filler and I also received it in my lips and other areas. Now I feel younger and more vibrant. Carrie and Stephanie are gentle, kind and skilled at their crafts. I was very nervous it would hurt but it hurt far less than I feared. Their calm and reassuring demeanor and steady hands gave me a sense of peace. I couldn't be happier with the results and it has only been a few days since my visit. I know that it will keep getting better in the coming weeks. I am looking forward to my next visit. I honestly can't say enough good things about this med spa. I was very nervous to get filler, it's something that I've always wanted to try but letting someone mess around in your face is a very big deal. I had some reconstructive issues that need to be dealt with and I couldn't be happier with the results. Amy Burns did a fabulous job and is incredibly knowledgeable, she also made me feel listened to and cared for. From the moment I walked in, the woman at the desk greeted me like an old friend and seemed genuinely happy to see me! The Dr was cool, calm and collected and explained everything I asked to know. If I could give 10 stars I would and I am very picky. I am a professional makeup artist so I'm looking at every detail of my face and I love the tweaks that they did. I can't wait to see Amy again and I'll tell EVERYONE what good hands they are in at this place! It looks so natural, honestly people that I've known my entire life just noticed I looked refreshed, but couldn't say what I'd had done.
