Use to go there often because it was convenient, I live in the neighborhood. Took some friends one day got burger 20 mins before the rest of the meal with a piece of paper still attached. Asked for a cheese board before the meal and it came after and was told it takes a long time to put together. Really? How long does it take to put some fruits crackers and cheese on a board?? After that waitress asked how long more we were staying 5 mins 10, 20 ? At that time I was ready to flip the table and leave. We still had full glasses of drinks that took about half hour to be served. Service was extremely slow. Everyone at one table never gets serve at the same time. Never went back. read more

I was in town and thought I'd try this place since I love a good breakfast. It's unassuming and quaint with a very nice staff and ambience, but... Weak coffee - I was a professional coffee taster and the coffee was really not good. Not terrible but it is so very easy to make a decent cup of coffee that I have little patience for below average coffee. Definitely not brewed by a coffee aficionado. Please be more generous with your fruit topping! My waffles were an ample size but the fruit was barely enough for half of what I received. Food was very good & fresh, got the French toast with fresh fruit + bacon & homefries. Also got the Mimosa flight where you can pick up to 4 flavors. I got original, pineapple, blue rapshberry & the lychee which I made the waitress pick as a surprise. All were good but pineapple was the best. Waitress not was very kind & sweet. We drive by this place daily, I finally got an opportunity to stop by. It's was amazing,, I had the skirt steak, it exceeded my expectations. My wife had the waffles, they were freshly made, a little crunchy on the outside , and warm and soft on the inside, and had a great flavor, the chicken was ok, ( I recommend a maple or a hot honey glaze ) . My husband found this cute little neighborhood restaurant not far from our hotel close by JFK Airport. We walked about 10 minutes from hotel to this restaurant, in a lovely neighborhood with snow on the ground. The staff were extremely friendly, the vibe of place and the food was terrific. Great place! Great music but the customer service is not good. Had to wait 20 minutes to be seated and the waitress didn't get back at us until we had to ask her. Food was not so good, the strip steak didn't cook well it need to marinate a little to give it a little taste. Ordered dessert they don't have cheesecake not forgetting they take so long to bring a Vanilla Ice cream sundae, the customer service is so slow and food is so poor for so much money... need to improve read more

The waitresses are quiet and standoffish. Not attentive. Asked for waters for the table 3 times and didn't get it until I went to the bar and stood there until someone made them. This was after we had all eaten our meals. No one checked on us throughout the entire time we were there. I got the chicken and waffles. The chicken was ok but the waffles were as hard as a rock. Mimosas are good but tiny. The place itself is cute and could be a great spot if they got better at service and food. read more

Where do I start, after a very stressful drive to JFK me and the family were starving, I was looking for a nice brunch spot to grab some grub before hitting the road, and I was so pleased to come across this spot! The food was delicious, felt fresh and healthy! The spot has a nice cozy vibe and I'll definitely be going back next time I go back to JFK. Service was however a bit slow, but the coffee and fresh oj certainly made up for it. read more

Came here on a Thursday afternoon for brunch with friends. The food was okay but the service is what takes away stars. The service was very slow. Had to ask the waitress for water 3 times before it was brought to us. We waited almost an hour and a half for our food to come. The music was good and the inside decor was nice. I really wanted to love this place because it's conveniently located for me and has a great vibe. I've been there three times now and all three times it was a bit disappointing. The alcoholic beverages are served almost at room temperature. I've had Mimosas and white wine and neither were cold. During my visit last Sunday, the guy sitting next to us requested ice for his beer. I was brought a wine glass with water drops as it had been washed, but not wiped. I had to wipe it myself. The first time I went I ordered the buttermilk chicken and waffles. The chicken consisted of three strips of chicken and cold waffles. My sister ordered the skirt steak and she was served three pieces of pale meat. It definitely was not skirt steak and she had to send it back. She ordered an iced coffee and had to send it back because it hardly had any coffee and was mostly milk. I've ordered the shrimp burger and jerk chicken sandwich since, which have been good. The servers seem to be very inexperienced. My sister ordered ginger ale and the server brought her a can that looked like it had been in the freezer and was going to explode when opened. She asked for another one. She went to sit on a chair and it had not been wiped. You have to call the servers several times as they seem to be distracted. The place has the potential to be great if they get the basics right and become more consistent serving flavorful/hot food and cold beverages. I don't think I'll be going back. read more

AWFUL EXPERIENCE, my friends and I got here and they told us it was a 25 minute wait but there 4 empty tables and only 2 tables were taken we aren't complainers so we waited and didn't say anything after 30 minutes waiting they finally sat us as soon as we sat down they asked what we were having we asked for a few minutes to look over the menu she said okay 30 minutes passed she didn't come back after we put our order in it took abt 45 minutes to get our food and none of it came together ny friend got served 15 minutes before my other friend and I but anyways once we got it my avocado toast came with two big tomato slices on top which it didn't mention in the menu and I'm allergic also it came on sourdough bread also not written on the menu our lattes tasted like watered down coffee my friend ordered banana pancakes and they failed to mention that the bananas were an extra charge and our lattes were also an extra charge to add a flavor again never mentioned it to us my fries taste horrible no flavor whatsoever it was an awful experience we will NEVER set foot in this place again for just 3 of us it was 85$ because of all the hidden charges go elsewhere trust me not worth it!! read more
