My initial impression was good because they have a lot of good morals and they are actually teaching the little girls good technique. However, after a few months, I started to notice that there was a lot of distraction happening, especially in the little girls class. The instructors focus was to try and convince even younger little girls maybe two years old and younger to try and come in to take the class. The instructors attention to the girls sitting on the floor with their parents Was more than 50% of the class this really distracted my child. I had my in-laws and my husband also take my daughter when I could not and they did not have any nice things to say about the class. They mentioned that expectation was way too strict for little girls And my husband did not like the atmosphere that was set by the owners-- he said that they were not friendly toward him at all as a first time parent parent taking his child. As a dancer, myself with a degree, I also understand that temperature is important in the studio, but in the summer months it was way too hot almost 80°. I don't think this is an appropriate temperature. I don't think they carry themselves in a nurturing and comforting way. We have found the climate to be very militant as opposed to relational. They are diplomatic and do nice things for the community, but not enough to keep us here. We will not return to take class.

They will challenge you when you tell them that you didn't receive a call back. I showed them a call log of the number of times I call and leave messages and no return calls and the girls who work there will still argue with you as if I am not a paying customer. 4. They don't have any hours of operation so you never know if anyone will ever pick up the phone. 5. Parking is a nightmare 6. They don't take credit cards and if you use it , there is a 3% service fee regardless of what kind of credit card it is. They prefer CASH or check. 6. Instructors seemed ok, if you can deal with the above 7. Owner was pleasant and so was her daughter once I finally got in touch with them. I wish they were present more often to witness the younger staffs lack of customer service skills. 8. They don't offer make up classes like other dance and gymnastics studios. I was assured Ms. Cindy was great and they have experience with handling toddlers and the hardest part was for the toddlers to leave their parents but not to worry they know how to handle it and come the next day for a class. Well there was no introduction let alone communication about this and the teacher asks as class starts is she new? I say yes and she grabs my crying daughter into the studio. My daughter cried the entire class. The teacher would stand over my daughter when she was crying which is an intimidating act to a sitting toddler. After class I ask the teacher about class and she points at my daughter and says, "she can tell you." Well my daughter is 3 and all she was capable of telling me was the teacher was mean and told her to stop yelling. The teacher asked to speak to me after class. But instead of privately speaking to me, she proceeds to very loudly in the lobby in front of all the other students and parents start to ask private questions very loudly and lecture very loudly on expectations in her dance room. Understandable but absolutely not a discussion to be had in front of the entire studio. No empathy or understanding that we are just getting her comfortable in public in this pandemic. No masks worn by any staff. Just very angry, upset, disappointed in how my child and the entire situation was handled and we will not be returning to this studio after our treatment.

It's not a very big space, but good enough for the students and waiting parents. The front staff is very kind - they have worked with me in terms of financial situations and have always welcomed my daughter regardless. Mrs. Hitt has been my daughter's teacher since she first started and my daughter admires Mrs. Hitt very much. She refuses to go to any other dance school or teacher because she has so much love and respect for her ABS teacher. Recitals are well organized and very memorable. There are fees that come with it such as the costume fee, recital fee, and separate tickets fee. I don't find it a problem and they handle the entire recital ordeal very well.
