I received a voicemail from their VP one morning asking if they would be able to store some construction trusses on my commercial lot. When I called back, he stated he already placed them there. I waited, letting him speak to see if he would apologize and tell me he'd have them off asap, but no dice. Any construction professional knows where their materials should go ahead of time, within their own workspace, when things are being delivered, and how to move them. I asked him if he would supply me with an email so I could send him a letter. That letter requested a rental rate to store the massive construction materials, or I would move them off. I wanted no issues with the city for materials that weren't mine, didn't have a permit for, and I never asked for involvement in their construction project. The CEO and VP tried to say 'there was a misunderstanding', but there can't be when you don't have permission on someone else's property in the first place, trespassing. They did sign the agreement at the 11th hour, did pay the rent albeit late, tried to correct the sod damage but continued to run over it with heavy trucks at the corner, but these issues others might not want to be involved with. I didn't.

We were really scared. I called Incline and they put me in touch with Pete, who is the nicest young man. He is so fast with communication - he responds within a couple of hours via email. He came right over, measured and gave me an immediate estimate - all the while telling me that he didn't think him installing gutters would fix the issue. I mean, he could have just sold me gutters, but they're HONEST people. So I ended up buying the gutters because I'd tried everything else, and they were very reasonably priced. Fast installation, and my husband just looked at them - they installed gutter guards without us even requesting them! That was such a nice surprise. So I had them out again to see if they could troubleshoot the leak. Within 10 minutes, the guy seemed to isolate the issue and made a recommendation. My husband just fixed it and the leak stopped. So Incline saved us a ton of trouble and money by just being good guys. Finally, I cross a dangerous intersection with my children everyday which is near their business. They're the most considerate drivers, and always pause to look for pedestrians in the crosswalk. I know that might be a silly thing to point out, but their attention to safety is important. I'll be a customer forever - thanks for everything.

They came out for the appointment, but…read moredid not want to be bothered to write up a bid for my project, HONESTLY if you can't write up a bid for my project (which is just typing) Why would it be good hire you to fix the roof? They didn't follow up, i had to call them to try to get a price, and when i did get a hold of them they forgot about my bid, then just gave me oral guess 2500-3800K for my project and then call me back later the same day to give me another oral guesstimate of 6500-7000 K for roof repairs. They seemed unorganized, lazy, and didn't want to do my project. It would've been better if they declined early instead of wasting my time and theirs.

I would give 2.5 stars to better reflect my experience with TC. It was a toss-up on any given day…read morewhether the work would be done well & correctly or poorly and in need of being redone. I had a lot of trust in D when I first met him, but by the end of the second project with TC, I wish I had hired another company. It ended with attorneys and many expensive re-dos of his work for me. It is infuriating to recall all the broken promises made to correct shoddy work, the gaslighting tactics used to avoid corrections, and being told to work out problems with the workmen myself. Both projects shared many of the same problems. While demolition was quick, which was great, the work lagged for 3/4 of a year each & STILL, all of the loose ends were never finished by final inspection or after, as promised. D had great ideas that often came to him after the contract was signed, but he would not write all of them up as a Change Order, which led to many misunderstandings, unauthorized work, and unexpected high costs. D provided guesstimates for time & materials that were shockingly way off. D said many times that if he wrote everything into the contract at the start, people would never sign with him. After the first contract, I told him not to do that to me again with the second contract, but he did. In fact, he never gave me a complete and signed contract for the second remodel. Between the two projects, I have been left with a nightmare of corrections/repairs/replacements ahead. The under-the-cabinet outlet strips supplied by TC have faulty factory wiring, per his own electrician. D was in the rm when this was discovered. I have to use my countertop appliances in two different rooms of the house + the garage. The city devalued my house by 5% due to the electrical problems with the outlets. My step-in tub, needed for my disability, was left with necessary work remaining to be safe and functioning properly. After D refused, a plumber arranged by the tub manufacturer helped me. However, there is a remaining leak problem under the tub into the kitchen. This was a result of poor design on D's part during the installation process. A large gap along the bottom of the tub allows water to run underneath & onto the kitchen ceiling. In another bathrm, a shower was installed. I told them I needed the threshold to be as low as possible. D said it would be 3 in. high. I said great. What I got was a threshold 3 in. on one side & 6 in. on the other. The first time in the shower, I caught my foot on the uneven threshold and hit the floor hard, barely avoiding hitting my head on the countertop edge. D forgot to reinforce the wall, so there is no bar to help me with my stability getting in & out of the shower. I have not been in that shower since. It is unsafe for me. TC was the wrong company for the bathroom work to ensure age-in-place safety. Lights flicker in one bathrm, an entryway, & in the kitchen. There are delays in some light & fan switches turning on. The electrician stated that it was odd, but did nothing to correct it. Five electricians from one company worked on the remodel, and the one who did most of the work refused to correct the others' work. D would do nothing to get the electricians to align. The vinyl kitchen tiles had a directional design, but the tiles were installed every which way. As if that wasn't bad enough, after D said there would be no need for grout because the space between the floor tiles would be so tight as to be virtually invisible, I was left with tiles with large gaps that collect dirt & make the floor look awful. Three men did that job, who were not professional flooring installers & the results sorely reflects that. They would not correct how the tiles were laid, but promised to fill all the gaps, then reneged. Come to find out, they were going to use caulk, not proper vinyl grout, so it was a loss for me either way. There were so many unnecessary & ugly times that should never have happened. Rectangular door handle plates are installed at an angle. Sealant is smeared around the outside vents. A shelf & dryer vent fell down within months of installation & I was charged again for the re-do. The driveway was damaged. The furnace was damaged. A toilet was damaged. A hot water heater was damaged. A ladder was damaged. Yelling & cursing at me, by disgruntled men. The blown insulation behind the tub is sloppy & uneven to bare spots + with no drywall reinstalled behind the tub, the room is very cold, requiring 2 space heaters. They removed a tile surround on an FP, then refused to install the tile I wanted, after seeing a sample & approving it months earlier. However, they would install a size of tile they usually used. I heard that often; This is the way we usually do it or this is what we usually use. This was MY remodel, not TC's. The takeaway is that all the problems turned into ugly battles over several months, with some issues resolved but most unresolved.

I was told by the sales rep that this would be a half day job to insulate the ceiling and outside walls of a 3 car garage. It took 5-6 hours on two consecutive days because the machine used to blow in the insulation broke down and the team needed to leave the project site to have it repaired ... ON BOTH DAYS. Outrageous! They also needed to borrow a drill from me when they left their drill "back at the shop." Incidentally, they also did the neighbor's garage across the street. Also taking 2 days and the additional breakdown of equipment. I contacted the sales rep after I received the invoice to make a request for a discount of $150.00 and his reply was, "I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for the use of the drill. ... We cannot reduce the price though. ... We cannot control when equipment breaks down and it is very expensive for us when it does. Again I apologize for the inconvenience." I often times hire smaller local companies and pay my bills promptly. When paying the invoice in full ($2,150), I enclosed a written request with my name address and phone number for the decision maker in charge to consider returning a check to me in the amount of $150.00. Now, 10 days later, no return phone call, no written response, and no check. I would not recommend using this company.

My husband and I hired him when we first bought our house and he could never pass the city inspections. For a year he made excuses and kept dragging us along on why he couldn't come out to finish the job, do it correctly, pass the inspection, etc. Blaming everyone else for his mistakes. Even telling the city inspector she doesn't know what she's talking about and was so incredibly unprofessional. We ended up taking him to court and winning. We knew we'd never see a dime from him so we had to go through the place he was bonded with and got the payout that way. We had so many inspections after the work he did and all three different companies said our house could have went up in flames. He didn't do one thing right and actually caused more work for the next person. Please if you go with him make sure he is even still bonded. Call Westfield and make sure they didn't cancel him because the insurers I spoke to said they would possibly do that since they had to pay us and he wouldn't get back to them. Please also if you go with him make sure to get a real company to come out and check his work. I am not a spiteful person and hate writing bad reviews. I really had to think about putting this up but if it means preventing another person or family from going through this, I think it's worth it. Adding on after your post* This was supposed to be a 1 day job you told me 2 at the very most. We were very and I mean very patient, understanding, and sympathetic to every single family problem and other excuse you had (and trust me there was always one in play) as to why this job could not get done from the end of June to December. The clay flue tiles needed to be knocked out and a different insulation was required because there were cracks in the clay flue tiles. You mortared our flue open in the middle of winter and we lost all our heat downstairs. All the mortar kept crumbling down the chimney and you made another excuse how your machine was broken and you were going to get a mortar gun to make it easier. We had other companies come out and said you forced an unfit liner down and damaged it doing so. This is just a small list of everything that went wrong. You were told multiple times what needed to be done from the inspector and not only argued with her but us the customers trying to belittle and make everyone else look bad and stupid. Really showing your anger problems. I have all of the texts since day one and the day of court you even tried to get out of that.
