Upon meeting…read morethem when my project began, (around 2000sq/ft colored, stamped, stained project which included my driveway, apron, sidewalk and patio) it was clear he and his brothers were the right people for the project. I rested well at night on day one. I don't know another way to say it, they cared and it showed. They made me genuinely feel that my project was the most important project they had and they were determined to exceed expectations. They were deliberate. Early to begin, everyday. Focused on getting the job done, with care. Diligent in their work and determined to provide an excellent product, with excellent service, and they more than succeeded. They won me over and I will recommend them to any and all who ask. I really can't say enough about how impressed I was with Montes Concrete. To qualify my review, I am a General Foreman for a national commercial/industrial electrical contractor, I've worked around masons and finishers for over 25 years and I recognize a good crew when I see them. These guys blew me away from the beginning of the project, to the end. I found myself wishing that I needed more concrete work done. I'd keep running these guys perpetually if I could. If I ran a general contracting business and needed concrete work performed, I'd hire them every single time. Without question. I'm already planning on next summers projects for them (pad for a shed, decorative concrete under my deck, and a decorative pathway from the deck to the shed. If you need concrete work, hire Montes Concrete. You will be impressed, sleep easy, and have something your neighbors will envy. I speak from experience.

The timeline from quote to finishing the job was quicker than I anticipated, which is awesome. They were very easy to work with. Good communication. I would highly recommend using them.

Worked harder at this job than any other. Hired as a LABORER who was "green" to the industry. The…read morehiring agent told me he would place me with his "best foreman". His best foreman has drinking issues and one word answers for any questions. He doesn't teach anything - and that's not how a healthy crew operates. I was let go because, "I wasn't catching on fast enough". 3.5 weeks of busting my ass learning more from the finishers than "their best foreman". Awful setup for anyone looking to work here. They lie to you, communication is not up to par. In fact - its communication is non existent. You're expected to know names of all concrete tools and get an attitude all day from the "best foreman" they have. One word answers and shrugs is all I got when asking legitimate questions so I COULD progress. I was a lead mover for 4 years no stranger to labor. Dealing with a drunk hungover negative "foreman" - It's nearly impossible to operate with a foreman that's a serious drunk and the whole crew knows it. Hard 0/5 stars. Concrete science has a lot to learn about teaching their employees. Awful, embarrassing, and ashamed they should feel. Do NOT work here. For prospective customers - they take short cuts and verbally have stated "good enough" - "who cares" I was genuinely excited to learn from "their best foreman". Sad that I was put on his crew where I was left to my own devices to figure it all out. You'd think they would want their firemen to teach. Not to mention broken tools aren't replaced, the company isn't worth working for or hiring to do your concrete work. Just incase the point hasn't been hammered home I was slammed by the chute of a concrete truck when the operator swung it back before I was almost out of the way. Bleeding, and numb I told my foreman and he laughed asking, "well did your arm fall off"? Yeah - great company. Not.
