Ever since I gave them kind and honest feedback about their lack of management on my job leading to those plants being lost, they have done everything possible to avoid fixing costly mistakes they left that were never part of the project scope to begin with. TL;DR: Villa doesn't know the difference between nutrient dense seeding soil used for planting grass seed and plants versus dirty landscaping fill with pulverized stone and gravel used for leveling landscaping, grading and creating the foundation for hardscapes - in case you're confused, one kind grows stuff and the other doesn't, yet these experts who've been in business for 30+ years seem to have no clue about this difference. To cosign another reviewer, "I have never encountered such a poorly managed job. They did a job done, but it came with a lot of stress and distress and disappointments. Please use another company."

He is a great and timely communicator and a competent designer. He listened to our wants and needs including reusing as many of the original pavers as possible to reduce waste. What really stood out was the attention to detail and consideration they showed throughout the entire process. When they were cutting pavers to create the circular design, they would stop working whenever we needed to get through so we could do so safely. They were also very thoughtful toward our neighbors. Before doing any work that created dust, they took the time to speak with them and ask if they could keep their windows closed for a little while to help prevent dust from getting inside. We are beyond happy with our new patio. We highly recommend Pascual and his team to anyone looking for quality work done with pride, care, and integrity.

This wall is now out of plumb by 3-1/2" over a 4'-0" area, so out of plumb by almost 1 inch per foot. The pavers have large 1/2" plus gaps in this area, and there is concern that this wall is going to fail, and will fall. Alex has been notified numerous times each year about this issue, and he has refused to respond or answer my calls, texts or emails, he is ignoring the problem. When looking back, Alex failed to acquire a permit or to notify the city, which is required with any wall that is over 4'-0" in height, and he did not complete an engineering review which is also a requirement for walls of this height. Because of the lack of response from Alex and his refusal to warrant his work, I am forced to get quotes to repair and will need to pursue legal means to resolve the issue. Beware.
