Bonk Gary Masonry - This is what you get with Bonk Concrete

Bonk Gary Masonry

(1 review)

In July '15 on the recommendation of a friend, my husband contacted Bonk concrete. We wanted our…read moreold patio slab replaced and a new beautiful larger patio and sidewalk poured. We were unable to get them out to our place until October. There was some concern about the time of year but were told that it would be no problem. They did the work in a timely manner , were polite and stayed with their estimate of $6300. My husband went the extra mile having them add rebar and some other precautionary extras to try to avoid cracks and crumbling , which they tried to discourage for some reason. I can only imagine how bad it would look without it. We noticed the first of multiple cracks to come, 3 months later !! The hubby called Bonk and eventually got a call back to set up a time when they could come out to look at the shoddy product we ended up with. Well, not only were we told multiple cracks and crumbling are no big deal, they offered to do nothing to fix the issues. Their reasoning was Minnesota weather. If weather was a known factor back in October, why would someone continue to do the work? We have since found out that the concrete manufacturer doesn't even warranty the product after October 1. We now have a cracked and crumbling patio and sidewalk that looks worse than what we replaced. We're every day working people. We don't have $6000. to blow on junk. Unfortunately, that's what we got. At the rate it's cracking and crumbling, it will probably need to be replaced within 5 years. Their website states, 100% customer satisfaction, that would be a ," Negatory red rider " . Personally I wouldn't recommend their work unless you have large amounts of money to blow on concrete chunks.
